  • Slyph Cross server arena reset needs to be fixed!!

    Hello all

Some may not participate on the slyph arena cross server or most may be aware EU servers are closed / locked out/ unable to use attempts for 5 HOURS after server resets which results in a unbalance because US WEST & EAST players are able to continue waging points to rank up for the WEEKLY rewards.

The discussion has been said there is a disadvantage to EU players and an Advantage to US players.
We have had some examples shared amongst EU / US west and East players as well as monitored over 5 weeks of this current "LOCK OUT" set up; and it has been agreed that to make this fair to all players across the varying time zones around the world..... WE NEED TO FIX THIS slyph arena rest

    Currently:
EU reset at 5:00 am but locked out for 5 hours from slyph arena
US west and east resets but is able to continue fighting and gaining points to rank up

    Suggestion
EU reset MONDAY at 20:00 (EU) server time
US WEST reset MONDAY at 12:00 (EU) server time
US EAST reset MONDAY at 15:00 (EU) server time

    Before anyone comments that the above is a terrible idea/suggestion or that it won't work;
Please be aware that the above is the exact time of CLASS WAR.

The above is sustainable because this addresses:
    • disadvantage to EU players
    • US server players taking advantage of the EU arena closure
    • small amount of players gaining unfair advantages to rewards
    • imbalance

For those that still may not understand the current slyph arena situation; let me break it down to simple terms:
    Currently
*Kabam closed EU server for 5 hours
*EU server players cannot compete in slyph arena
*HOWEVER; WEST US & EAST US server players continue to gain points in slyph arena
*Weekly arena slpyh reward bonus are gained mainly by US server players
    RESULT:
*unfair competition (ex: players are not able to compete in slyph arena due to lock out from arena by kabam)
*unbalance reward distribution (ex: only players that have access to slyph arena can gain points hence gaining higher rank thus getting better rewards)

The suggestion listed above is to have slyph arena remain fair for ALL players and servers

See below for example for visual example:

*below: 5am the server locks out EU player
    [IMG][/IMG]

*During the lock out ; EU player exampled here is rank #1

*This shows the player is ranked but is then attacked by US player that still have access to slyph arena
    [IMG][/IMG]

*See below; US player still access slyph arena attacks EU player to gain title ranking. EU players unable to regain
    [IMG][/IMG]

The above activities occurs after EU server resets and is CLOSED for access by kabam for more than 5 hours.
DURING this 5 hours; EU players unable to access slyph arena BUT US server players are able to use all attempts to gain points to higher rankings

This is not fair and is alike slyph atol; where you are not able to defend when someone attacks you when auto-slyphing.

Please Kabam/ Cosmo; if you have any questions we can clarify. But hope this is clear on resetting slyph arena to make it fair for all.

    Suggestion
EU reset MONDAY at 20:00 (EU) server time
US WEST reset MONDAY at 12:00 (EU) server time
US EAST reset MONDAY at 15:00 (EU) server time

  • #2
I agree with above points. Closing arena for EU and US west only created new disadvantages.

Moving sylph arena time so we all have weekly reset on monday after server reset is the best solution.

Players can pick which week they want to use 60-70-80 attempts for all timezones this way.

Its the same for all timezones when they design it like this.

I agree, best solution is to move reset time so players can choose when they want to use their attempts. All timezones got the same benefits this way.

I agree as well. Reset at 1 time for all servers in sylph arena is the only fair solution.
You can't have cross server rewards for an event that stops and starts and varying times leaving whole time zones at a disadvantage.

        Please fix this asap.

I agree with changes to slyph arena

I'm in USA and closing arena is stupid.
I cant compete with higher br to diamond but closing it dont allow me to play during my free time which means I lose out attempts.

Only time I have due to work and school is the time kabam locked out the arena. Fix it!

+1 to changing Slyph arena reset time to make it fair.

blocking access to an arena is not a solution and not fair to players in the EU and the USA servers.
I agree. there is no fairness to this current set up and does not make sense on how this can remotely be balanced for players left out in the cold

Can you expand your statement with example
I'm not understanding double rewards of what and how?

I agree with this post. Resettime should be on a time, all have same benefits and possibility to win. This lock down of EU servers is not fair either, just like the previous situation. Think the suggestion to move resettime close to cw time is a good solution.

Agree on a fix. If the reset would be done at the suggested times every day it would be even better since EU players are actually at a disadvantage everyday due to the reset happening very early in the morning in EU forcing you to use attempts hours earlier before going to bed

I agree...but this will be ignored again...
We have to use atempts even if you don t get maxed points

Other solution if this is ignored again..
All start with sending tickets in.....
