Forum Rules [Updated 12/21/2016]

MAIN RULES OF THE FORUMS

Please respect your community. Respect each other as you all enjoy the same thing ? The Game.

We encourage open and friendly discussion of the game and the Community. Moderators and Staff have final decisions on all matters, and are here to make sure that the Community remains a friendly, fun place appropriate for players of all backgrounds, ages and groups.

It is the forum member's responsibility to stay up to date on forum rules and to honor the behavior outlined.

PURPOSE OF THE FORUMS

These forums provide an area for constructive player discussions of the game. It also allows players to
help each other identify bugs and issues, and help each other reproduce and resolve them.

These forums are not the most direct way to contact support. If you?re having an issue with your game and you need direct assistance, please tap on the FAQ/Support tab within the game.

CHANGES OR IMPROVEMENT

Please make sure to stay updated on these rules by reviewing this page from time to time.

SET RULES

This is a private board. As such, decisions made are final.
We reserve the right to remove any message board content without notice for any reason.

Rule 1: Responses to rule violations
Violating these rules will result in warnings, either formal or informal, suspensions, banning, or other sanctions.

Rule 2: Respect other users on the forums
- Do not make attacks or insult other users, either in the forums or through private messages. Disagreements and debates are fine, but don?t make it personal.
- Do not attack groups. This includes professions, races, religions, sexual orientations, genders, incomes, or even vague groups like ?you people.?
- Do not use ill terms which are offensive to groups, do not ?flame?, ?troll.? or ?haze?.

Rule 3: Respect the forum purpose and structure
- Make your posts in the appropriate forum.
- Please use the Search function. If a relevant thread already exists, please post there instead of creating a new thread about the same topic. Duplicate threads will be closed to keep the forums orderly and easy to navigate.
- Keep off-topic posts in the off-topic forum.
- Don?t start discussions about games that are not ours.
- Do not cross-link to other message boards or websites unless approved by a moderator.

Rule 4: Respect the law
- Do not post anything illegal under U.S. law, or encourage other users to break the laws of the U.S. or their country of residence.
- Do not encourage users to break terms of service. This includes giving information about how to find scripts, exploits, or cheats, as well as arranging to buy or sell accounts or virtual goods.

Rule 5: Respect the audience
Think about who you're talking to. Users may be as young as 13 on these message boards, and may be male or female, and from countries across the globe.
- Keep your language civil. Profanity is frowned on.
- Do not post Adult Material, inappropriate graphic sexual content in any format, or links to sexually explicit sites.
- Do not post graphic images or explicit descriptions of violent acts.
- Do not use an avatar or signature that could offend other users. They have to look at it a lot.

Rule 6: Respect privacy
- Do not post any private emails or private messages unless you have the explicit permission of each person involved in the exchange.
- Do not post private communication between customer support, members, moderators, or administrators on these forums, or anywhere else. (This include support ticket responses)
- Do not post any information covered by a non-disclosure agreement or beta testing agreement. Even if you somehow have inside information about our competitors, for legal reasons we don?t want to hear it.
- Do not post Facebook information about other forum users.
- Do not post any private information about other users.
- Do not post in-game information in an attempt to have other players attack your target. Be careful to not cross the line into bullying.

Rule 7: Do not spam
- Do not post repeatedly about the same topic.
- Do not spam users on the forums or through private messages.
- Do not start a thread without actual purpose.
- Do not start a thread about a news story or article unless you make it clear what the story is about, and offer your own opinion to start a discussion.

Rule 8: Respect your account
- Do not share your account information with other individuals. You will be held responsible for any rules violations that occur under your account.
- Do not create new accounts or use other tricks to avoid suspensions or bans.
- Do not create ?sock puppet? accounts ? multiple accounts created just so that you can agree with yourself and make it seem like your ideas have more support than they do.
- Never include your e-mail address or any other personal information in posts.

Rule 9: Respect the Moderators
- Do not post using the color red. This color is reserved for moderators.
- Do not impersonate moderators. Do not claim to speak for the moderators.

Rule 10: Respect the decisions of the moderators
- The moderation teams reserves the right to warn, suspend, or permanently ban users judged to be acting against the spirit of the rules, even if the user is following the letter of the rules.
- Do not argue with moderators about moderator decisions. You can disagree with a moderator?s opinions, just like any other poster, but when they post moderator actions in red text, it is considered final.
- Moderators have no access to your game account. If you have an issue you must contact customer service.

Generally, BE NICE. There is nothing wrong with being nice to each other.

As for the current issue you face, I`ll let you sort it out as we don`t interfere in these types of issues (simply because if we started to, we`d get flooded with such requests and be accused of favoritism if we did it for 1 alliance and not another).

Hope you calmly work out your differences or at least remain respectful.

    Regards,

    Ganstack

*Thanks for informing the Dev-Team about the issue in order to find a solution.

*Also, I agree on your point that it is our mistake that we trusted such a childish person with the officer rank. It was our mistake, and we take responsibility for it.

*That been said, i have a few things i would like to discuss about this matter:

1.) i would to like to share some done-damage-insight which i recieved by players in our world.

2.) Since you haven't given us any options/suggestions to fix this problem, we had to take measures in own hand. And we could only think of 1 solution. Not a great solution, but atleast prevents every outsider to join our alliance at any given time. Our alliance has 60 members... so to prevent for every unwanted person to join us, we had to create 40 newuser accounts to fill our alliance to max, so nobody else can join unwantedly by the tons of join invites he send out.

    3.)

We didn't had enough time to fill our alliance up to 100 members with newuser accounts before the grailwar-lock was put on. Right before the lock was put active, a guy in our server who did recieve invites from this player in question slipped into our alliance with a subaccount, and as you can see on the screen above... he is spamming our alliance chat with reinforce-requests with a auto-clicker already the entire night (for a about 4 hours non-stop now), and it's still ongoing.

    My Questions:
1.) you are basically telling us that we have to deal with such things for the upcomming weeks/months... till the dev-team decided to come with a solution for it. You are literally saying: ''As for the current issue you face, I`ll let you sort it out as we don`t interfere in these types of issues (simply because if we started to, we`d get flooded with such requests and be accused of favoritism if we did it for 1 alliance and not another)" Well excuse me Ganstack, but is that the way kabam treats it's customers? by giving 1 player such a massive amount of power to spoil the fun for 60 players...1 entire alliance...

    Facts:
    Fact 1: sending bulk-invites = abuse.
Fact 2: ruining the game for 60 players = abuse.
Fact 3: thanks to your grailwar lock of 48 hours, you litterly blocked the only 2 possibilities we had. That's kicking the guy, and filling our alliance with own subs to prevent future unwanted joins.
Fact 4: Thanks to kabam, for not taking responsibility/measures in this matter, ector123 is 40 newuser accounts richer (it ruins the map!!)
Fact 5: Due to a lack of Systeemtools your dev team is providing you with, kabam basically is saying litterly to their players: "we are aware of the flaws OUR system has, but still.. you have to deal with it yourself as ''just a player''
Fact 6: thanks for letting me type all of this here, since the responsible player will read all of this aswell, which gives him all the satisfaction he needs.

As a old game mod myself, i know the tools you have at your disposal.
1.) you can check our alliance chat yourself in ghost-mode(invisable mode) just like here on the forums. so you can check the autoclicker spam that disables the entire alliance chat.
2.) you can join whatever server you want and simply perform a kick...
3.) you can track ip adresses, and even pinpoint a location to the closest provider(cell)-tower and check it with the ip's ingame and the forum.

So since i've explained everything here now... is it realy that much to ask, to:
1.) Simply cancel all the outgoing invitations manually, send by our alliance in the past 14 days? (alliance: incursions on ector123)
2.) Kick player: BAK33 out our alliance for spam abuse.
3.) Take the appropriate measures to punish the abuse actions of the player in question (track ip) for sending out those thons of invites on Ector123
4.) Take the appropriate measures to punish the abuse actions on the main account of whoever player ""BAK33"" is. (by tracking his IP)

    Feedback:
1.) Keep the lock during grailwars, but ENABLE the possibillity to kick!
2.) analyse the situation better to see what damage it COULD do, if kabam doesn't step in. because players currently simply have a very limited "toolbox'' to work with
3.) I think after reading this you can find enough improvement-points to share with your Dev-Team.

Well.. thanks for letting me write so much. And i hope i can count on you customer service since your clearly mentioned in your Game-FaQ that such actions as written here above are against your policy and will be punished

    Regards, Bierkes. Incursions, ector123

Kabam I am totally agree in this matter. This person is just acting like a little child. He had several bans on the forums and isn't the kind u want to play this game.

I like to get his accounts banned and the invites being withdrawned. This is not the first time he is acting this way. Look at your ban history and u know..

    Regards Varro Ector123

Well give me back my alliance and I will leave you alone.
If kabam interfere, I want half of their alliance level.
Not that I care about grailwars now, but those are our efforts aswell.

You fused with us, backstabbed us, don't come crying here and complain.
Or otherwise come with a solution, you stole enough from our alliance, time to pay it back one way or the other.

Let kabam just have a look at the allydata then, to see who was kicked and who left volunteerly. besides, your alliance...? weird, i thought people who ''own'' a alliance are ALL the alliance members together since they all put in effort and time, and weird that you didn't had a gold crown since you claim to ''own'' an entire alliance
you helped building the alliance up indeed, not alone tho, with several others. and you crashed the alliance with your own 2 hands.

cheers mate. this aint the place for me to fight you, i'm simply here so kabam can fix this matter, and inform the dev team about those bugs so it can be prevented in the future.

no more responses from me here towards players anymore, only towards kabam, to see how it can be fixed

You have violated few forum rules for the second time:

Rule 2: Respect other users on the Forums
Do not attack or insult other users, either in the forums or through private messages. Disagreements and debates are fine, but stay on topic and don’t make it personal.
Do not blacklist. Blacklisting is considered publicly shaming or accusing another player of something negative like cheating or hacking. If you have proof that another player violated the Terms of Service, use the report form or submit a ticket through support.

            Rule 6: Respect privacy
Do not post any personal information about other users, including moderators or GM’s. This includes linking to their Facebook, posting their full names, posting their phone number or address, or sharing any other information that is not readily available through their Forum account.
Do not post in game information, such as player names, city locations, or scouting reports, in an attempt to have other players attack your target. You can coordinate Alliance attacks, just be careful that you don’t cross the line into bullying.
Do not accuse other players of cheating in the Forums. If you suspect a player of cheating, they can be reported through a support ticket.

            Rule 7: Respect our time
Do not post repeatedly about the same topic. Please use the search function before posting.
Do not start a thread about a news story or article unless you make it clear what the story is about and offer your own opinion to start a discussion. Making us guess about why you posted a thread is a waste of our time.
Do not post Non-Constructive posts. They don’t serve a good purpose and just make the whole board feel more negative. Avoid these types of posts to help keep the Forums clean and useful.

Rule 10: Respect the decisions of the GM’s and moderators.
Do not argue with moderators about moderator decisions. You can disagree with a moderator’s opinions, just like any other poster, but if the topic continues to be argued after already receiving a response, action will be taken on your account. You can appeal their decision in the Moderator Discussion forum.

Rule 2: not mentioned names of main accounts. no private messages send. not making it personal. i'm staying on topic. no blacklisting and i do have proof. All loyal koc players are aware that it takes time for the support team to respond on a ticket, and that it takes ages to fix it. This is a time-sensitive-matter which causes massive problems/spoiling fun so it needs to be addressed appropriately.

Rule 6: no personal info provided about users, mods, gm's. no harmfull ingame information provided. haven't mention names of somebody who's cheating.

Rule 7: I created a topic because in the other one i did not provided the full information/danger causes. and since that topic was closed before i could respond to the GM, this is logically the best option to keep contact. no news story or acticles mentioned. this is totally the opposite of a non-constructive post, i'm clearly mentioning flaws that can cause big damage ingame that could be prevented in the future by sharing this with them.

Rule 10: I do respect the decision of the GM, and i do not argue about anything. Like i said here above, the topic was closed before i could post more detailed information, i'm simply notifying them of game contents that could realy need a upgrade. Because when players are given a bigger and better toolbox to fix more issues on there own, that automatically means that gm's/mods/support teams have less work to do.

You have editted your post, Kabam can still see your original post what terms you violated.

                The second time here again.
