  • Most Important Feedback For Grail Wars

Hello DanaKabam, Ganstack, Ezzikie, Rukkirii, Babieca, JacobKabam, Kanoona:

    Here some feedback:

    - You kept a grailwar battle on a midweek day.. start time was 12:00-00:00. WHY start a war on a day+time when everybody is working/in school? Better plan those wars on sunday 12:00-00:00 so it's a fair fight where almost everybody can particepate.

    - Knights not on marshall. During the grailwar battle, we noticed that many players of our own alliance, and players of the opponents alliance had no knight assigned to marshall. Same happened to me, I am 100% sure i assigned my marshall during the deployment fase, but when the war started at 12:00, i had no knight assigned. Luckily i was there right from the start, so i could still assigned my knight to marshall. Unfortunately that didn't count for many other players who've lost massive amounts of troops cause of that glitch. please fix that asap.

-Outgoing marches stuck. Me and many fellow alliance mates all experienced the same march glitch. When we send out attacks, our marches are being stuck, and they keep hanging @ 0 seconds before arriving at the opponent. Restarting the game, reinstalling the game etc did not work. We are able to only send out 4 marches, which resulted in the fact that many of our players where not able to attack anymore 30 minutes after the start of the grail wars, because all their 4 outgoing marches where hanging stuck, which means they couldn't attack any other players for the remaining 11h30m of the war. Which also concluded in that some opponents who didn't experienced that bug, could freely kill our alliance mates, because they where unable to reinforce or portal away because of there max limit for outgoing marches. Fix that!

    - Flickery. NON STOP flickery message whenever you tried to enter the grail wars map. 70% of our alliance players had that message. So they where unable to particepate in the grail war battle, which also resulted in them losing all their troops.

    - Like already mentioned in a post by another player: deployed troops during the deployment fase(you call them ghost-troops) are indeed not lost, eventho reports from incomming attacks say otherwise. BUT, eventho they don't actually kill your troops, they still recieve the kills for TK events. Better fix that.

    - during grail war battles, you get a red line around your screen when you are about to recieve an incomming attack right? Also the red sign in the left top corner of our screen. That is also bugged. Eventho the attacker already attacked me, i still kept my red line around my screen, and the red warning symbol, for the entire 12 hours!

    - The 12 hour peace dove. Like i already mentioned here above. The war times are from 12:00-00:00. Those times are too late. I'll take myself as a example. I am open 24/7 because i am our alliance bank and have 1200B rss to protect. Which means no matter what, i can not go to bed till the grail war is finished, because i have to put my deployed defence knight back on the marshall position from my open city. Otherwise i loose all my troops+our alliance rss. That is NOT a ideal situation which you did NOT kept under consideration i guess. Also, I always dove when i'm about to sleep, incase any glitch occur, so the bank is safe. Would it still be possible for me to dove right away after the grail war is finished since i am doved for 12 hours during the grailwar aswell? I guess that's another thing you didn't took into calculation.

    - Also a good point which is already mentioned by Lady Morganna. The inabillity to acces alliance reports in grail wars. Having acces to alliance reports increases the stratistic maneuvers a lot. Therefore i think it's a important asset to include into the options.

    - It's very unclear what the rewards are for winning or loosing 1 grail war battle. We don't have a clue what we are fighting for and if it's worth the lost might of troops. Can you make that info available?

    - The ''Endow" Option in the alliance tab: You can donate ''Studded cross", "Enameled Cross'' and "Jeweled Cross''. BUT, You didn't mention anywhere where we can obtain those items.

    - Suggestion: There is only 1 grailwar battle a week correct?

What about if kabam starts the grail wars on a monday, line up 2 alliances as opponents, and then give them both the possibility to pick a day when the battle takes place. Also let them agree on a start time. As long as this is all completed before sunday, it shouldn't make any difference in the current planning that they keep grail war battles.

Also, to make it more supporting, in order that alliances can't find a mutual day+time to start the battle at, let them pick a day+time between 3 already made-up battle dates. If they can't come to a mutual starting date, then wars have to be played for example on sunday 12:00-00:00.

But DONT start those wars on working days like you did last time!, how the hell can we start @ 12:00 on a monday when everybody is working? lol

I think that's all the important stuff i can think about at this moment. I Hope you will response to it, and do something about it.

    Regards, CashCow, Ector123

Hey! Thanks a lot for this feedback, it is really comprehensive and we will factor everything in that we can. Regarding the bugs and things like Fey Trickery, our engineering team are working on these. Thanks again for taking the time to write this. Feedback like this, such as duration of Grail Wars and ways to improve, is something that will affect future sessions.

      Hi Bierkes_Ector123,

      - Grail wars being mid-week => this is only for the pre-season to ensure that we have maximum support in case of technical issues. Once the Grail Wars are launched, they will be schedule according to players most suitable times.

      - The problem with Marshals will be fixed with V18.1

      - Fey Trickery -> fixed

      - Cloning of deployed troops -> fixed

      - Red line glitch is most likely linked to server stability -> Stability improved

      - Peace of dove -> the duration of the battle phase will be reduced to 4 hours in the second pre-season match-up

      - Alliance report -> studying the feasibility for future improvements

      - Reward listing -> we will be posting the complete reward list prior to the next event and are studying how to integrate it in-game

      - Endowment crosses -> not yet released, will inform everyone how to obtain these in the future

The next pre-season is planned for next week, please continue to provide such constructive feedback.

Thanks for the update Ganstack, appreciate it. Much good new in your post.

I still miss 1 important issue that you have not mentioned. The glitch where outgoing marches are getting stuck. Last grail war match me, my alliance mates and our alliance opponent all had the same problems. Our marches where getting stuck by arrival at the enemy castle, which resulted in that everyone lost their best atk knight being stuck.

see screens below to confirm it:

        http://nl.tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2...8#.VSgMe_msWou

        http://nl.tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2...8#.VSgMffmsWou

Restarting the game didn't fix it.
deleting and re-installing the game didn't fix it

The glitch lasted till the end of the war. Only the first 30 minutes of all the 12 hours was Glitch-free except for the unmarshalled knight when logging off. The "Fey Trickery" started for all the players after their marches started to get stuck

        regards.
