Hengist 29 and galahad 62 merged into Ector123 at the 5th of november @ 06:30 GMT+2
The Good Jobs:
+1) Merger itself: Was very fast, we could acces the new world within 1 hour
+2) Items/troops: No complains here either, everything is still intact and nothing is missing.
The Bad Jobs:
-1) Halloween events to trade masks for halloween gear in the round tower disappeared.
-2) Merlin's madness: Before the merge merlin's madness was running on our server. In the new world I can't even enter ''premium chance'' tab. It Is locked and displays the following message: "The premium chance game is not available. Please check your In-game messages for details". Well, my player level is 111 so that can't be the problem. Also i didn't recieve any kind of ingame mail regarding the premium chance, neither does the people i asked.
-3) Maintenance: Came out of thin air. No announcement anywhere. No ingame mail, no ingame banner, no forum banner. And it lasted for a lil less than 3 hours.
*For crying out loud, can you guys announce such long maintenances in advance??? This is not the first time either that it happened. I don't care what the reason is, and you don't have to feel obliged to give us the reason as long as you make a early annoucement. Even if it's ''emergency" maintenance, you guys should announce it on time, and give players a chance to react to it!! What will happen if a player is open 15minutes before he decides to close his gates again to go offline, but the maintence interupts him from doing that and we'll be zero'd after the maintenance is finished and he wakes up/finished work. Or what if you are planning to make a maneuver in a event just before you go offline, or just before a event ends? Exactly, it will fail because the maintenance will interupt it.
-4) Not able to make new accounts in the new world:
*Alliance perspective: It will prevent alliances from making weekly bubble banks. Which is for my personal playing style excellent because it will increase the action on the server cause people will be open to defend resources. For smaller alliances it's like a punch in the face, because they would have no chance at all to maintain even a small number of resources hidden/protected.
* Player perspective: Excellent. It will prevent players from cheating in kill events by continuously creating ''newuser killaccount''. Also another positive thing will be that there will be enough free plains on the map to teleport to.
* Farm perspective: Excellent. No more dead farms which will result in more action when people try to obtain resources.
* Now, As you can see, for me personally it's a GREAT improvement but for the majority of the alliances who have lower gears/might it will be a massive fail.
So, now that has been said, i'll skip to my actual point: AGAIN, NOT announced. I've read all threads/info/comments made by admins regarding world merges, and it hasn't been mentioned a single time, anywhere. like i said, i like it. But you could atleast have the freekin' decency to inform your players right? There are alliances around who have build up their resources stack in bubble bank for the last 2 years you know.. that took a whole crapload of time to collect those amounts.. talking about hundred of billions.
So.. What is going to happen with all the 4 mentioned points under the title ''The Bad jobs"' kabam?
I think we deserve some FAST and DETAILED information regarding these points so we can discuss ''new tactics'' with our alliances or indiviuals. No bullcrap please like ''i will forward you feedback to the dev team'' because i know out of experience we will not get a fast response back, which we CLEARLY need in these cases.
