Over the course of the next few weeks players will have the opportunity to voluntarily merge their cities to a new world. The new world will aggregate active players from many different worlds, creating a much more lively community and gameplay experience.
How it will work:
• Everything a player currently has in their cities & inventory will be moved over to the new world.
• VIP Levels & Gem Balances will be moved to the new world.
• Username’s will move over but will be appended with their old world number to avoid conflicts (we will be granting all players who merge a Merlin’s Cloak so that they may change their name if they would like).
IMPORTANT things to note:
• Updated 17.3 will be required to have access to the “World Merge” interface.
• Alliances will be reset on the new world, please communicate and coordinate with your alliance before the merge if you want to stay together in the new world.
• All Marches will be recalled.
• All Training, Building, & Healing queues will be cancelled.
I have cities on several different worlds that are being merged together, what will happen?
The new world merge interface that will be arriving in updated 17.3 will allow players to select one of their worlds & it’s cities as their “main account” to keep as specified in the “How it will work” section above.
The remaining accounts on the other words will be merged into the “main account” as follows:
• All Items, Troops, and Resources will be moved to the main account.
• All Gems will be combined into the main account.
• All Gear will be moved to the main account.
• Since there is an inventory limit to the amount of gear a player can keep, we suggest forging gear until enough space is available to fit all the important pieces you want kept.
• The best gear will be slotted first in instances where there is not enough space, so any excess gear beyond the inventory limit will be abandoned.
• It is the player’s responsibility to ensure they have cleared enough space for their gear, any extraneous gear may be deleted, and cannot be restored.
• Troops assigned to Selective Defense will be lost on all accounts beyond the main account, to avoid this make sure to un-assign all troops to ensure that they are moved over to the main account.
• Make sure that all healing queues are finished. Any unhealed troops in hospitals will be lost on all accounts beyond the main account.
We will be releasing more information regarding what worlds are being merged as we move closer to that phase of the process.
