  • World Merges Coming Soon!

Over the course of the next few weeks players will have the opportunity to voluntarily merge their cities to a new world. The new world will aggregate active players from many different worlds, creating a much more lively community and gameplay experience.

    How it will work:
    • Everything a player currently has in their cities & inventory will be moved over to the new world.
    • VIP Levels & Gem Balances will be moved to the new world.
    • Username’s will move over but will be appended with their old world number to avoid conflicts (we will be granting all players who merge a Merlin’s Cloak so that they may change their name if they would like).
    IMPORTANT things to note:
    • Updated 17.3 will be required to have access to the “World Merge” interface.
    • Alliances will be reset on the new world, please communicate and coordinate with your alliance before the merge if you want to stay together in the new world.
    • All Marches will be recalled.
    • All Training, Building, & Healing queues will be cancelled.

I have cities on several different worlds that are being merged together, what will happen?
The new world merge interface that will be arriving in updated 17.3 will allow players to select one of their worlds & it’s cities as their “main account” to keep as specified in the “How it will work” section above.

The remaining accounts on the other words will be merged into the “main account” as follows:
    • All Items, Troops, and Resources will be moved to the main account.
    • All Gems will be combined into the main account.
    • All Gear will be moved to the main account.
    • Since there is an inventory limit to the amount of gear a player can keep, we suggest forging gear until enough space is available to fit all the important pieces you want kept.
    • The best gear will be slotted first in instances where there is not enough space, so any excess gear beyond the inventory limit will be abandoned.
    • It is the player’s responsibility to ensure they have cleared enough space for their gear, any extraneous gear may be deleted, and cannot be restored.
    • Troops assigned to Selective Defense will be lost on all accounts beyond the main account, to avoid this make sure to un-assign all troops to ensure that they are moved over to the main account.
    • Make sure that all healing queues are finished. Any unhealed troops in hospitals will be lost on all accounts beyond the main account.

We will be releasing more information regarding what worlds are being merged as we move closer to that phase of the process.

Please refer to this thread to discuss world mergers.

    World Merge In-Game feature:

    World Merge In-Game feature:
    • This feature will show you all the information you need to know regarding your world merge.
    • When it comes time for your world to merge, a world icon will appear on the left side of your screen.
    • The icon will have a countdown letting you know how many days, hours, and minutes until the world merge happens.
    • Clicking on the icon will open a window to show you what "accounts" of yours would need to merge together, if applicable.
    • YOU MUST select an account (even if only 1 is listed) to opt in to the merge. Not selecting an account means that you will not be merged.

How do I know if the multiple cities I have on different worlds are being merged together?
    • When we activate the world merge countdown the icon will appear on your screen.
    • Click on the icon and then press the i for information, then select "server details".
    • Server details displays what worlds are being merged as well as the date and time they are being merged.
    • Only cities & players from the worlds listed on server details will be merged together.

The following only applies IF you have cities on multiple worlds that are merging together, which is displayed on the "server details" tab of the information.

        World Merge FAQ

        FAQ

        1. How will the merger work?
You can only merge if you choose to by tapping on the world icon in-game and picking the icon to take with you.The world icon has a timer, until that runs out you can choose which “account” you want to move over. If there are other accounts displayed, the ones that are not selected in the interface will be combined into the selected account. (You can only select 1 account on the interface, the account you select is your “main account”)

        2. I changed my mind about which account I want to be my main, can I change it or is it too late?
You can change which account has been selected or unselect your account (meaning op out of merging) up until the deadline displayed on the world icon, think of it as a reservation!

        3. What do I do if I don’t want to merge?
Nothing! If you do not select an account using the world merge interface, you will not be merged into the new world.

        4. What if I change my mind and I want to merge after the countdown & merge has ended?
While we would like to encourage players to select to merge ahead of time, that way they can reserve their Alliance names before they are unavailable, choosing not to merge will not mean you are stuck on the old world. After the countdown ends, you can still choose to merge! Selecting to merge now doesn’t merge you instantly, it just sends a reservation to merge during the maintenance period (when the countdown ends). The world merge interface will continue to be available after the countdown ends, selecting to merge after the initial world merge maintenance will instantly merge your account to the new world.

        5. Will my resources/opened & unopened troops/tokens/gems ect… transfer over or will they be lost forever?
As originally noted in the How it will work section “Everything a player currently has in their cities & inventory will be moved over to the new world (ie Resources, Troops, Inventory Items).”This means that items that are in your cities, such as resources and opened troops will be moved over to the new world with you, the same goes for all items displayed under the Misc., Speed Up, Combat, Resources, & Chest tabs of the “My Items” section of the Items interface.

Realms collide - World Merge Information

          Lords and Ladies,

Over the course of November players had the opportunity to voluntarily merge their cities to a new world. The new world has aggregated active players from many different worlds, creating a much more lively community and gameplay experience.

We are now approaching the final stage of the world merger process which ends on December 15th 2014. Up to this date players can still voluntarily chose to merge their cities to the new world and until December 8th they can also benefit from the Token of Abundance* offer which grants them 20 gems they can take advantage of in the new world.

After December 15th 2014, all accounts left on the old servers will be automatically merged to the new world, based on the following criteria:

-The account with the highest Player Level will be kept as the main account. In the case where there are two accounts with the same Player Level, the account registering the highest might value will be kept as a main account.

As a consequence, as of today all competitions, events and tournaments run through the Event Center will only be held in the new servers. This is to prevent any lost data and items from player’s inventories during the individual mergers, so make sure you take advantage of the new events running in the new servers and don’t miss out on the chance to win the best gear in Camelot, Dinadan Medals, high level Master Hammers and much more.

          How does the merger work?
The merger process will stay the same, however if you don’t choose which server to merge before December 15th, the merger will be done automatically when you first log into the game after this date. Moreover, if you don’t choose the world you would like to keep as the main account, the system will choose for you the account with the highest Player Level or Might Level.

*A Token of Abundance has been placed in your inventory! This item can be used in the Round Tower to win 20 free world Gems! Use these gems to get a boost inthe newly merged realm! (You can redeem this item in the new world if you merge your account before December 8th.
