1) Deployment
During the deployment phase, players within an alliance will need to select the Knight, Heroes and Troops they wish to bring into battle as well as assign an Outpost Marshall.
To deploy troops go your Outpost, select the deploy tab and press the deploy troops button. This opens a menu where you can select the Knights, Heroes and troops you that want to bring to battle:
The amount of marches you can deploy from each of your cities is based off all your rally points levels and caps at a maximum of 10 marches per city.
After you`ve deployed your troops you can select an Outpost Marshal by going to your outpost and selecting the my troops tab.
2) Traveling to Map
After the deployment period alliances will be matched up according to their Alliance Glory and Alliance Power Score.
The Alliance Glory Score is a measure of the Alliances past Grail War performance, it varies with each new Grail War session.
The Alliance Power Score is a measure of the total fighting prowess of the troops, Heroes, knights and gear that an alliance is taking into battle.
Once the battlefield has loaded it`s up to each alliance to decide the best plan of action to win the war.
3) Battle Phase
The battlefield has several camps which when controlled provide attack, speed or life buffs for your entire alliance that may help tip the battle of balance into your favor.
There are two ways to score points during a Grail War match; by killing NPC/opponent troops and by strategically holding control over Wonders.
Killing troops
You will get points for every troop you kill, the higher the troop tier the more points you will receive.
The number of NPC troops deployed on the map is relative to the amount of troops both alliances bring to battle.
=> the more troops the alliances bring to battle, the more NPC troops will be deployed, the more points can be scored from killing troops.
Wonders
Holding the Great Wonder will give players a lot more points then holding smaller Wonders.
The longer a Wonder is held the faster the points will accumulate from that wonder.
The amount of points obtainable from Wonders is relative to the amount of troops both alliances bring to battle.
=> the more troops the alliances bring to battle, the more points can be scored from holding wonders.
4) Reward phase
There are 4 types of rewards in Grail Wars; Alliance EXP, Individual/Alliance Merits, Glory points and Prizes.
