Forum Rules [Updated 12/21/2016]

MAIN RULES OF THE FORUMS

Please respect your community. Respect each other as you all enjoy the same thing ? The Game.

We encourage open and friendly discussion of the game and the Community. Moderators and Staff have final decisions on all matters, and are here to make sure that the Community remains a friendly, fun place appropriate for players of all backgrounds, ages and groups.

It is the forum member's responsibility to stay up to date on forum rules and to honor the behavior outlined.

PURPOSE OF THE FORUMS

These forums provide an area for constructive player discussions of the game. It also allows players to
help each other identify bugs and issues, and help each other reproduce and resolve them.

These forums are not the most direct way to contact support. If you?re having an issue with your game and you need direct assistance, please tap on the FAQ/Support tab within the game.

CHANGES OR IMPROVEMENT

Please make sure to stay updated on these rules by reviewing this page from time to time.

This is a private board. As such, decisions made are final.
We reserve the right to remove any message board content without notice for any reason.


Rule 1: Responses to rule violations
Violating these rules will result in warnings, either formal or informal, suspensions, banning, or other sanctions.

Rule 2: Respect other users on the forums
- Do not make attacks or insult other users, either in the forums or through private messages. Disagreements and debates are fine, but don?t make it personal.
- Do not attack groups. This includes professions, races, religions, sexual orientations, genders, incomes, or even vague groups like ?you people.?
- Do not use ill terms which are offensive to groups, do not ?flame?, ?troll.? or ?haze?.

Rule 3: Respect the forum purpose and structure
- Make your posts in the appropriate forum.
- Please use the Search function. If a relevant thread already exists, please post there instead of creating a new thread about the same topic. Duplicate threads will be closed to keep the forums orderly and easy to navigate.
- Keep off-topic posts in the off-topic forum.
- Don?t start discussions about games that are not ours.
- Do not cross-link to other message boards or websites unless approved by a moderator.

Rule 4: Respect the law
- Do not post anything illegal under U.S. law, or encourage other users to break the laws of the U.S. or their country of residence.
- Do not encourage users to break terms of service. This includes giving information about how to find scripts, exploits, or cheats, as well as arranging to buy or sell accounts or virtual goods.

Rule 5: Respect the audience
Think about who you're talking to. Users may be as young as 13 on these message boards, and may be male or female, and from countries across the globe.
- Keep your language civil. Profanity is frowned on.
- Do not post Adult Material, inappropriate graphic sexual content in any format, or links to sexually explicit sites.
- Do not post graphic images or explicit descriptions of violent acts.
- Do not use an avatar or signature that could offend other users. They have to look at it a lot.

Rule 6: Respect privacy
- Do not post any private emails or private messages unless you have the explicit permission of each person involved in the exchange.
- Do not post private communication between customer support, members, moderators, or administrators on these forums, or anywhere else. (This include support ticket responses)
- Do not post any information covered by a non-disclosure agreement or beta testing agreement. Even if you somehow have inside information about our competitors, for legal reasons we don?t want to hear it.
- Do not post Facebook information about other forum users.
- Do not post any private information about other users.
- Do not post in-game information in an attempt to have other players attack your target. Be careful to not cross the line into bullying.

Rule 7: Do not spam
- Do not post repeatedly about the same topic.
- Do not spam users on the forums or through private messages.
- Do not start a thread without actual purpose.
- Do not start a thread about a news story or article unless you make it clear what the story is about, and offer your own opinion to start a discussion.

Rule 8: Respect your account
- Do not share your account information with other individuals. You will be held responsible for any rules violations that occur under your account.
- Do not create new accounts or use other tricks to avoid suspensions or bans.
- Do not create ?sock puppet? accounts ? multiple accounts created just so that you can agree with yourself and make it seem like your ideas have more support than they do.
- Never include your e-mail address or any other personal information in posts.

Rule 9: Respect the Moderators
- Do not post using the color red. This color is reserved for moderators.
- Do not impersonate moderators. Do not claim to speak for the moderators.

Rule 10: Respect the decisions of the moderators
- The moderation teams reserves the right to warn, suspend, or permanently ban users judged to be acting against the spirit of the rules, even if the user is following the letter of the rules.
- Do not argue with moderators about moderator decisions. You can disagree with a moderator?s opinions, just like any other poster, but when they post moderator actions in red text, it is considered final.
- Moderators have no access to your game account. If you have an issue you must contact customer service.

Generally, BE NICE. There is nothing wrong with being nice to each other.

    This option has gotten out of hand . Belvedere 4 world . Their is an alliance that's rank 1 and all their alliance is troops and they hide . They over 400million in might and they all hide ? What's wrong with this is that they are stealing wilds attacking wilds and as you counter attack you find out they are hiding ! My world chat is just insults being traded its no longer fun and a place to meet new ppl I can't blame them for being mad since try have attack each alliances lower mights . We need to place limit on how many soldiers u can hide it will create a balance from abusers. Like 30k of each troops level and 60k of lower tier soldgiers. We need something fast!!! I have lost members all completely because their gaming experience is ruin by bully's that hide .

    If it will take months for this to change could lead to loss of members . Some ppl can only take so much abuse from bully alliance that just hide . I have lost 4 great players over the weeks who have never been able to grow because of this situation and just decided to quit. I understand it takes a long time to tain troops but when you have a huge alliance with complete domination and as a chancellor not being able to be in 70 places at once it kills moral and spirit . And will just quit

    If you think you are losing people fast due to this problem wait until you see how many people quit if this rule gets brought in. Every small player is going to get wiped out overnight under this rule. Then watch them all leave in droves. When you understand the battle mechanics you will understand why this won't work.

      If the Hidding has a cap, all small player are safe. Only the strong get exposed.
      Something need to be done, to many player are hiding.

        Check out my idea a few threads below about a simple fix to avoid FarmVille. I think it solves your issue as well.

          I think you and I have very different ideas of what small players are. People are suggesting things like 60k troops and 500k might. That isn't a small player. That is an insignificant player. If this rule ever goes into place those players will never have more than 60k troops. The big guys are just going to hit them over and over and never let them grow past that point. Then watch these player quit in droves. This idea will kill the game not help. So just quit with it already. It is shear idiocy and the people suggesting it are totally clueless about the consequences. Think first.

            I'm telling you we need a cap, Which the majority will agree i think.
            You have to see beyong the value here, the point is the cap not the cap value.
            The cap value should be determin by kabam, which already cap plenty of other thing in the game.

              If I'm disrespectful it's because I have been telling people the problem with this idea for weeks now. For starters this has been discussed in countless threads. Yet once again the OP didn't bother to use search and started yet another thread on a subject that is being beaten to death. You may not have mentioned a cap value but the OP did, as did all the OPs of all the other threads, and you agreed with him. So you need to go back and read what has been said before agreeing. I am commenting on the values and ideas of the OPs. They all suggest ridiculously small cap values. It wont work. It can never work. I have explained why it wont work. So you think that is 0 contribution then yet again we are at odds with what you and I think contribution is. At least I gave a brief explanation of why a cap system wont work. How would you like to be stuck at 500k for the entire game and never able to grow past it? Would you quit? I bet you would as will everyone else.

                  I do agree there’s better solution that implementing a cap.
                  But I still think it an option because the following reason.

                  • Do we really want the farmville strategy in that kind of game?
                  • There’s plenty of cap already in the game ex (the wall army is cap, storage cap etc…)
                  • The system allow only the top 100 player to defend, otherwise it’s suicide
                  • Fast and Easy to implement
                  • Wathever other solution you came with, there’s always a group of people that will play the hidding model which is a non sens in a war game.
                  • If you want to hide your army, it’s should be a really hiding somewhere in the map, allies etc… not in your cities.
                  • It’s just doesn’t feel right to have 30k of citizen and 500k of armies
                  • 500k of armies hiding where?

                  What would be the cap value? Hhhhhhhhhh THE question
                  You will answer base on how old is your world.
                  Old timer gamer would cap this to 50m+ of might
                  In new world, that kind of cap doesn’t make sens.
                  To create 50m you need a lot of weeks, months
                  In my world top player are at 20m

                  IF there’s a cap implementation, to make the cap fair, i would try to create a formula base on the world age. But it SUCKS to have that kind of rules, I wouldn’t do it

                  I will commit and prononce to a number.
                  My suggest cap PROTECTION would be 5m of might per cities you own not including wall.

                  Why?

                  Because under this, you won’t be able to create something decent
                  (arround 10 knights that can transport maximum of 90-100k of unit), higher than this it’s farmville.

                  Players with 5m of might in an alliance of 100, that mean you can take down a 500m might player,
                  without any chance of repost, because you are in the cap proctection limit.
                  This mean small player have a chance to fight, to survive.

                  I know in old world, this will open up to a week of carnage.
                  But It doesn’t mean every body will attack everybody suddenly.

                  In anyway this will not completely solve the hiding issues.
                  You need to add to the cap some other feature, to create exposure

                  Ex: of idea

                  When you attack all your troop are unhide.
                  When you attack, your troop can be intercepted (didn’t think the mecanic yet)
                  Wild must be protected to enable wild bonus


                  Finally, I don’t think kabbam will go this way anyway.
                  It’s to late to do that.

                  But we all agree on something. The actual system must be improve.
