Hey dudes!
Since I know how much you looooove me, decided to drop you a line. Wanted to in the live chat, but apparently the "contribute to LC" was the only real rule you bothered to uphold. I had asked you if you knew what you were doing, but it became clear ya didn't. Chat was out of control, chat lag didn't help either. Anyway, I could complain on that for a while, but I want my suggestions and questions heard. I'll start with suggestions.
Suggestions:
You've probably got most of these, just hammering the nail a bit here.
-Porting while under attack. Needs to be blocked. If it stays, you make it impossible for these gem buying might huggers to be hit. Where's the competition? Who can build the fastest? Not the KoC I know.
-Fair Tournaments/Competitions. That transporting comp was a blunder. Sure I can spam 1 food transports to my ally next door all day. Cool. Might tourney is also bs. Could try making it individual per page up to like page 5-10. That way the top 3 don't always win.
-f2p vs p2p. I know it's against your money hungry nature, but you need to limit the amount of gems people can buy per day/week. Or at least give an equal chance for every item in Merlin. Frankly my dear, I'm not putting money into this game, it's over expensive. But I'm sick of 20k res everyday. Let's be a bit fair here.
-Kabam in global. Bad. You guys stir everything up it's sick to look at. Change your names so Kabam isn't in them anymore, and put a server message up telling people to take suggestions here, with a clickable link in the message. Sure, you might like your egos petted when people see Dev's in chat, and it's nice to see presence, but you can get feedback without negatively affecting chat.
-filter low level cities. Honestly, those no show cities are just gonna ruin space when 2nd city is released. Time to filter 2 week inactive lvl 5-10's and less. Keep the map uncluttered.
-Yodeling. Don't do this.
Only ones I could really think of that you may not have had spammed at you today. Onto questions I guess. Having fun reading all this yet? I'm having fun writing it.
Questions:
-In previous Kabam games, plain lvls affected the 2nd(3rd etc) city that was placed on it. Not sure if you guys have a plan for it. Wondering how the lvl affects the 2nd city in this game, if at all.
-Please focus more on bug fixes for the next update. Not really a question I know. More of a plea.
-special units. When are they going to be considered? I noticed your demolition of Runey12 in V4 - BSU, and you're right, Ro-sham-bo is a familiar thing in war games, but what you have planned is pure Rock paper scissors. You need some variable, wild factor, that's either on it's own level, or weaker but attains special characteristics. Such as trap deconstruction, decoying, troop defection etc. something that adds dimension to the triangle system.
With the new ignore option, I hope I don't have to re-ignore that person every time they or I re-login. If I don't want to talk to them, I don't. Instead, make up a section list for currently ignored/muted players so we may go there to deactivate if we choose.
You're probably bored of reading by now. I'll end by saying I'm glad for what's coming in V4, and I hope it doesn't bring more bugs into the system. Also, I took a lot of time writing this, I know your busy, but a reply that's actually a tailored response rather then a stock one would be nice. Tired of "thanks_______, we hear you! Your suggestions have been added to the (by now clogging) tube!" I'd much prefer to hear answers to my questions specifically.
