MAIN RULES OF THE FORUMS

Please respect your community. Respect each other as you all enjoy the same thing ? The Game.

We encourage open and friendly discussion of the game and the Community. Moderators and Staff have final decisions on all matters, and are here to make sure that the Community remains a friendly, fun place appropriate for players of all backgrounds, ages and groups.

It is the forum member's responsibility to stay up to date on forum rules and to honor the behavior outlined.

PURPOSE OF THE FORUMS

These forums provide an area for constructive player discussions of the game. It also allows players to
help each other identify bugs and issues, and help each other reproduce and resolve them.

These forums are not the most direct way to contact support. If you?re having an issue with your game and you need direct assistance, please tap on the FAQ/Support tab within the game.

Please make sure to stay updated on these rules by reviewing this page from time to time.

This is a private board. As such, decisions made are final.
We reserve the right to remove any message board content without notice for any reason.


Rule 1: Responses to rule violations
Violating these rules will result in warnings, either formal or informal, suspensions, banning, or other sanctions.

Rule 2: Respect other users on the forums
- Do not make attacks or insult other users, either in the forums or through private messages. Disagreements and debates are fine, but don?t make it personal.
- Do not attack groups. This includes professions, races, religions, sexual orientations, genders, incomes, or even vague groups like ?you people.?
- Do not use ill terms which are offensive to groups, do not ?flame?, ?troll.? or ?haze?.

Rule 3: Respect the forum purpose and structure
- Make your posts in the appropriate forum.
- Please use the Search function. If a relevant thread already exists, please post there instead of creating a new thread about the same topic. Duplicate threads will be closed to keep the forums orderly and easy to navigate.
- Keep off-topic posts in the off-topic forum.
- Don?t start discussions about games that are not ours.
- Do not cross-link to other message boards or websites unless approved by a moderator.

Rule 4: Respect the law
- Do not post anything illegal under U.S. law, or encourage other users to break the laws of the U.S. or their country of residence.
- Do not encourage users to break terms of service. This includes giving information about how to find scripts, exploits, or cheats, as well as arranging to buy or sell accounts or virtual goods.

Rule 5: Respect the audience
Think about who you're talking to. Users may be as young as 13 on these message boards, and may be male or female, and from countries across the globe.
- Keep your language civil. Profanity is frowned on.
- Do not post Adult Material, inappropriate graphic sexual content in any format, or links to sexually explicit sites.
- Do not post graphic images or explicit descriptions of violent acts.
- Do not use an avatar or signature that could offend other users. They have to look at it a lot.

Rule 6: Respect privacy
- Do not post any private emails or private messages unless you have the explicit permission of each person involved in the exchange.
- Do not post private communication between customer support, members, moderators, or administrators on these forums, or anywhere else. (This include support ticket responses)
- Do not post any information covered by a non-disclosure agreement or beta testing agreement. Even if you somehow have inside information about our competitors, for legal reasons we don?t want to hear it.
- Do not post Facebook information about other forum users.
- Do not post any private information about other users.
- Do not post in-game information in an attempt to have other players attack your target. Be careful to not cross the line into bullying.

Rule 7: Do not spam
- Do not post repeatedly about the same topic.
- Do not spam users on the forums or through private messages.
- Do not start a thread without actual purpose.
- Do not start a thread about a news story or article unless you make it clear what the story is about, and offer your own opinion to start a discussion.

Rule 8: Respect your account
- Do not share your account information with other individuals. You will be held responsible for any rules violations that occur under your account.
- Do not create new accounts or use other tricks to avoid suspensions or bans.
- Do not create ?sock puppet? accounts ? multiple accounts created just so that you can agree with yourself and make it seem like your ideas have more support than they do.
- Never include your e-mail address or any other personal information in posts.

Rule 9: Respect the Moderators
- Do not post using the color red. This color is reserved for moderators.
- Do not impersonate moderators. Do not claim to speak for the moderators.

Rule 10: Respect the decisions of the moderators
- The moderation teams reserves the right to warn, suspend, or permanently ban users judged to be acting against the spirit of the rules, even if the user is following the letter of the rules.
- Do not argue with moderators about moderator decisions. You can disagree with a moderator?s opinions, just like any other poster, but when they post moderator actions in red text, it is considered final.
- Moderators have no access to your game account. If you have an issue you must contact customer service.

Generally, BE NICE. There is nothing wrong with being nice to each other.

  • How To Save A Dying Game? CanAbyssKahn's Proposal

    As we all know KoC:BFTN is slowly dying as does all great mobile games that have came and past before it. Unfortunately I am new to the mobile version of this game but really liked the Facebook KoC back in the day and am starting to like this one. As such I have a few ideas.

    1) Have a community vote on a SINGLE "Super Server." How do we do this? Simple. Send a message out to all players in say the servers 119, 126, 131, 132, 133, & 143 and ask if they would be okay with a super server. The map at this time is 0,0 - 800-800. So, if you combined all 6 servers listed the map should be 0,0 - 6,000. Any players that haven't logged in for 2 years straight(730days) delete the account(so long as they haven't bought gems on that account. If you still have to many inactive players that would fill up the map, lower it to a year n a half but I doubt that'd be necessary. Now, randomly place everyone's cities on the new map but if you have 5 cities, give the player, all players with 5 cities, 5 portals of order. If you have 2 cities at the time of the super server creation, give those players 2 portals of order and so on and so forth. Any player that is okay with it would be added to the new super server whilst those against it would be combined together on a merged standard 0,0 - 800,800

    2) Doing this would effectively remove approximately 3 or 4 servers(super server would probably take the processes of 2 or 3 by itself) which would lower GAEA's maintenence and upkeep cost.

    3) But.. I have cities on multiple servers! That's fine. Combine the inventories of those that have established themselves on other servers, & introduce city 6 along with some other things that wouldn't of been feesable in the current worlds. Due to the 0,0 - 800,800 limit. What would city 6 be capable of? Well that's easy. Getting gear is hard. What if we could make gear from random drops found in picts? This would keep players logged in for more extended periods and have more players willing to buy gems and those that do already would buy more. Or, instead of using picts introduce a new location to attack and explore. Like Picts but maybe a little bit stronger. "Pict Strongholds" or something. From here you can add in tons of content and ideas that I'm sure others will have to add on. Through this super world campaign could be expanded with the mysterious appearance of these Pict Strongholds. Hence more heros like some people want.

    4) Again, adding to campaign could be done which would give us more heros. This part gets tricky. Introduce a server based tournament(kind of like GW) on the super server once a week where GEAR HAS ZERO EFFECT and players can fight over these epic places in the middle of the world that would give various buffs for a week. Have an Attack, Life, Troop Training Speed, Wall Defense Training Speed, March Size, Opponents Life Down, Opponents Att Down, Food, Wood, Stone, Ore, Gold, Camp drop rate, & Pict drop rate buffs. Only there is a catch.. No alliance can hold more than 2 buffs and to keep players active and 2 prevent a super ally from getting the same ones over and over make it impossible to hold the same 2 multiple weeks in a row. So if Alli A holds Troop Training Speed and Life Buff location this week. Next week they wouldn't be able to compete for those 2. This would prevent just the people that have played for years owning the new server and let even new players and new alliances would be evenly matched for it and be able to compete.

      People have been asking for a merge for a while now. I hope everyone realizes that a merge is just a stop gap measure and will not resurrect the game. The same issue that currently plague the game would still exist.
      • Disparity between top players/spenders and everyone else
      • No means for new players to become competitive
      • Gaea still running rigged comps
      • Lack of support
      • Etc.

      I actually think this idea does have some merit though.
      Having some type of comp where gear is not an issue may make some sense and allow people who do not have the best gear compete for something.
      You would also need to have the knights at a consistent level for this to work also.

        1) just like Captain said a merger won't really help plus let's remember that the last merge went horribly and many players left because of it . Also many players have huge inventories to begin on 1 world I doubt anyone wants a bigger invo from all their worlds and then a super world really doesn't take in account that some players enjoy playing on more then 1 world and the space taken by all the current players on the map not really leaving room for new players . So in the end the same problems will stay and it would just cause more problems.

        2)I would really rather not see a 6'th city I don't think it will help anything anyways instead I would rather see a 4 th slot in each current city this would actually lead to more attacking players since it would lead to new attacking combos and an actual counter ( somewhat) to players stacking heroes on defense.

          As far as a 4th slot for heroes, you realize that people could just rein with 4 heroes per slot instead of just 3 making the stacking a worse issue, not a better one.
          So even though you could send 4, you would be attacking 44 heroes instead of 33 (asuming you have 10 reins for 4 heroes each).-

              Well yes and no while it very possible there is also far more heroes that is possible to attack with then is possible to defend with and even less that can March and defend and 3 defender heroes you can't even get medals for so no way to get above 100 ( wigglesworth, Lynnette, and brangaine) so that leaves 7 possible knights and if you have 5 players rein with the max they possibly can ( 2 reins each) that is 35 heroes ( plus the 4 you already have makes 39) Not much more then is possible now . Now you are sort of right if you can find 10 different players it could be 44 but with the state of the game it would be easier to find 5 players on at any given time then it would be to find 10 . So it could go either way but really with the heroes we have now it would really more likely slightly in favor of attacking vs stacking . Now as new heroes come out or if gaea starts giving medals for the heroes we can't get medals for now this could change .

                But even with your logic you would have 6 additional heroes defending vs 1 additional hero attacking
                Not sure how that adds to a plus on the attacking side.
                And in order to send all 4 heroes on each attack, you would need to speed them all, using quite a few speed ups per attack

                  True that you get 6 additional heroes on defense but the combinations are the same whereas the attackers combinations change like owain, palamedas and Gareth is a decent combo by itself but if you are able to add Tristan to that your attack power goes way up making a difference.

                  And speeds aren't that big of a problem I don't know about you I have 560 hour speeds alone from all the silver crowns GAEA gives and that isn't even mentioning the fact that 15 min speeds are Fairly easy to farm.

                    True adding Tristan would increase your attack power.
                    Just having him in your city would help a lot even if you didn't send him on March.

                    Typically the second combo since I also open in another city and use Tristan there.

                      I actually use the same combos as you that was an example another example would be the ability to use all 4 heroes you mentioned
