  • My personal tips

Here are some tips for new players or even experienced players.

#1- Barracks are key i currently have 16 barracks and can produce 4.5k tier 1 on 1 hour apx. 1k tier 3 in 5 hrs.

#2-In first city food is crucial for our army so focus on farms instead of the other resources.

#3-Wall defenses are useless, they are a waste of resources and time. Yes they train fast and increase your might at a good pace but i can send 60k tier 1 and take down over 100k wall.

#4- Probably the most important thing in this game is your knight level, every gem you earn should go to increasing your might. For exp. A army of tier 1 with a high level knight can easily take down a tier 3 army.

#5-When building second city focus on resources such as wood, stone, and ore. Not food, food you can focus on making in your first city.

#6- Relief station is something you always need to have at a good level. Level 6 is a good apx level for everybody.

#7- Embassy is a must if you are someone who loves to go to war. When you have multiple incoming armies you can be reinforced by your alliance and take out either all of the incoming atks or make sure to give them one heck of a fight.

Thats all my tips for now. Have any more that i didnt post leave a comment and tell me what i missed. Thank you.

    1. Food in first city? Do you mean for training because yes on training, but as we all know you don't need food to feed your troops. That's probably what you meant just wanted to clarify.

    2. Also wall defenses are not for everyone however, a level 9 wall, reinforced or backed by your own troops becomes a paper shredder. The bonuses become insane! My wall is set with troops to defend about 200K T3, 200K T2, and 300K T1. Incoming attacks bounce off my wall, ridiculously...Obviously, this takes a while to set up and as mentioned building up wall can be risky because if not reinforced they can easily be taken down. If you are in a top alliance and haven't been getting attacked a lot yet I recommend building one if you have the troops to protect it, because it comes a nasty weapon and great tool to bait players into suicide on your wall

Also not a question but another tip on here should be reassign your troops to non food making city to create a surplus and avoid having your troops eat up all your food.
1- yes that is what i ment thank you.

2- i agree walls are not for everyone but people who usually dont have to worry about being attacked could do a wall to better preapare for any war or any incoming attacks for the future.

Yes reassigning is the best thing to do so as not to waste food production.

      Walls

The easiest way to rise up in the ranks of alliance list is building walls. That also means that the fastest way of loosing might is walls being destroyed. My alliance recently had a war with an 8 rank alliance. We r rank 6 and have meer to no wall. They had so much wall that we were able to drop them out of pg1 in 2 days flat. That's a good 200million might. We didn't drop a single spot

Once you having everything else upgraded then you can focus on upgrading the rest of your barracks. Just make sure you have at least one barrack level 9. Hope this helps.

                    Reassigning troops

What happens to your troops if you reassign them to your second city if it doesn't create enough food to support them?

There is no penalty for not feeding your troops. They do not desert or die. Best thing to do is to keep your troops in a city that contains no farms. That way you can produce food unhindered in your other city.

Upgrade all cottages to level 9, having that many barracks means less idle but faster output. So keep barracks full at all times and check in every once in awhile to re-train once they finish. Hope this helps.

                            My personal tips

I agree with most of your post Genuine- good job =). I do have questions about #2 and #5 though. If your 1st city is focused on food how do you get the other resources to build and recruit an army? Maybe just need some clarification.

I did the opposite of what you said in #2 and #5. I made my 1st city have mainly the other resource fields than food. I use a friend to store my excess troops until I get a second city to keep food consuption down. Warning: using an ally's city to store troops could put your troops at risk for loss because troops that are reinforcing another city defend in an attack on the reinforced city even if the holder of the reinforced city has troops hidden. Once I obtain a 2nd city I make the 2nd city have all farms. I keep my troops in my 1st city so food isn't consumed in the 2nd but the other resources are being produced still in the 1st, and now I no longer need my friend for troop storage. You'll have a large food consumption in your 1st city so expect to be annoyed at not having food there to build/recruit/research, but you can send food from your 2nd to your 1st as needed. Food I raid in my 1st I send to my 2nd for stockpiling or tier 1 troop recruitment until my 2nd city is higher levels. Use "teleports" (2 kinds) to move your 2nd city around as needed if under constant attack to steal your food.
