Forum Rules [Updated 12/21/2016]

MAIN RULES OF THE FORUMS

Please respect your community. Respect each other as you all enjoy the same thing ? The Game.

We encourage open and friendly discussion of the game and the Community. Moderators and Staff have final decisions on all matters, and are here to make sure that the Community remains a friendly, fun place appropriate for players of all backgrounds, ages and groups.

It is the forum member's responsibility to stay up to date on forum rules and to honor the behavior outlined.

PURPOSE OF THE FORUMS

These forums provide an area for constructive player discussions of the game. It also allows players to
help each other identify bugs and issues, and help each other reproduce and resolve them.

These forums are not the most direct way to contact support. If you?re having an issue with your game and you need direct assistance, please tap on the FAQ/Support tab within the game.

CHANGES OR IMPROVEMENT

Please make sure to stay updated on these rules by reviewing this page from time to time.

This is a private board. As such, decisions made are final.
We reserve the right to remove any message board content without notice for any reason.


Rule 1: Responses to rule violations
Violating these rules will result in warnings, either formal or informal, suspensions, banning, or other sanctions.

Rule 2: Respect other users on the forums
- Do not make attacks or insult other users, either in the forums or through private messages. Disagreements and debates are fine, but don?t make it personal.
- Do not attack groups. This includes professions, races, religions, sexual orientations, genders, incomes, or even vague groups like ?you people.?
- Do not use ill terms which are offensive to groups, do not ?flame?, ?troll.? or ?haze?.

Rule 3: Respect the forum purpose and structure
- Make your posts in the appropriate forum.
- Please use the Search function. If a relevant thread already exists, please post there instead of creating a new thread about the same topic. Duplicate threads will be closed to keep the forums orderly and easy to navigate.
- Keep off-topic posts in the off-topic forum.
- Don?t start discussions about games that are not ours.
- Do not cross-link to other message boards or websites unless approved by a moderator.

Rule 4: Respect the law
- Do not post anything illegal under U.S. law, or encourage other users to break the laws of the U.S. or their country of residence.
- Do not encourage users to break terms of service. This includes giving information about how to find scripts, exploits, or cheats, as well as arranging to buy or sell accounts or virtual goods.

Rule 5: Respect the audience
Think about who you're talking to. Users may be as young as 13 on these message boards, and may be male or female, and from countries across the globe.
- Keep your language civil. Profanity is frowned on.
- Do not post Adult Material, inappropriate graphic sexual content in any format, or links to sexually explicit sites.
- Do not post graphic images or explicit descriptions of violent acts.
- Do not use an avatar or signature that could offend other users. They have to look at it a lot.

Rule 6: Respect privacy
- Do not post any private emails or private messages unless you have the explicit permission of each person involved in the exchange.
- Do not post private communication between customer support, members, moderators, or administrators on these forums, or anywhere else. (This include support ticket responses)
- Do not post any information covered by a non-disclosure agreement or beta testing agreement. Even if you somehow have inside information about our competitors, for legal reasons we don?t want to hear it.
- Do not post Facebook information about other forum users.
- Do not post any private information about other users.
- Do not post in-game information in an attempt to have other players attack your target. Be careful to not cross the line into bullying.

Rule 7: Do not spam
- Do not post repeatedly about the same topic.
- Do not spam users on the forums or through private messages.
- Do not start a thread without actual purpose.
- Do not start a thread about a news story or article unless you make it clear what the story is about, and offer your own opinion to start a discussion.

Rule 8: Respect your account
- Do not share your account information with other individuals. You will be held responsible for any rules violations that occur under your account.
- Do not create new accounts or use other tricks to avoid suspensions or bans.
- Do not create ?sock puppet? accounts ? multiple accounts created just so that you can agree with yourself and make it seem like your ideas have more support than they do.
- Never include your e-mail address or any other personal information in posts.

Rule 9: Respect the Moderators
- Do not post using the color red. This color is reserved for moderators.
- Do not impersonate moderators. Do not claim to speak for the moderators.

Rule 10: Respect the decisions of the moderators
- The moderation teams reserves the right to warn, suspend, or permanently ban users judged to be acting against the spirit of the rules, even if the user is following the letter of the rules.
- Do not argue with moderators about moderator decisions. You can disagree with a moderator?s opinions, just like any other poster, but when they post moderator actions in red text, it is considered final.
- Moderators have no access to your game account. If you have an issue you must contact customer service.

Generally, BE NICE. There is nothing wrong with being nice to each other.

    This is a disgrace, Kabam. Very unprofessional, given the amounts you charge for gems ingame.
    As someone who has spent as much money on this as on a proper PS3/xbox game, I could at least expect stable releases and prompt support. You are consistently failing on both and essentially are ripping customers off.
    I will not spend a single cent on your game till you develop a track record (at least over the next two major releases) of being able to maintain a game of at least decent quality. I hope many other players will do the same, so you learn from this.

Know this has nothing to do with the above or below , but I'm going outta my head with the lack of help in the reports bugs Emil's that keep going back and fourth ,, can I please have a direct email to a real person that can help me , or point me to someone that can please..... I'm a high lvl player , I'm not a child , I spend a fair bit on gems weekly and for the last two weeks I haven't been able to , I've reported the problem four times in the bugs section , been given links to forum fixes which I've followed ASAP to no help and rply back ASAP that didn't work In under the allotted 4 day time frame , then had the rply of I'm orry we closed your inquiry ??? Whyyyyyyyy , it's not been fixed !!! I've replyed back in the

        Hey Ladycole You having the iTunes error? Send me a PM, or mail in game, with as much info as you can and I'll see what I can do to track down a solution. I haven't been able to rectify the problem so not sure how much help I can be but I'll give it a shot.

          i got that same message when buying gems... had it for a few days then it stopped, its something to do with your phone is all i've been able to figure out but i'm not sure what..

          logged in on my wifes phone and i was able to buy gems no problems... log back in on my phone and still wasnt able to, did some searching online and some people said it had something to do with the auto update setting on your phone but that didnt help me, problem just seemed to of sorted itself out after a few days

            There is only one way that Kabam will ever learn to appreciate paying customers. When those customers stop paying them. Stop giving these idiots your money!

                Actually I happen to play on the same world as Ladycole and I know her. Called trying to help out a friend. Guess trolls don't have friends though LOL

                  I have had the same problem. I even called a number they listed and after I gave my selection, in stead of getting a person I got the voice mail which, surprise surprise, was full and could take no more messages. I still don't have my problem resolved and threatening to not spend any more money made no difference cuz they just don't care cuz they are making money hand over fist, so why bother?! Going on two months and still NO response. Now That is support!

                      I found it funny the moment I came here ,, after trying the so calked help button .. The problem was fixed with in minutes ,, thing my mate runey might of helped thanks Hun xxxx , plus another thing I have found out since is it can be due to your credit info on your iTunes account .. Ie...... For Hacking protection on your credit cards if you use them on your iTunes , if they see a lot of activity they put the block on ,, so you need to contact apple yes , to let them know its you using card .. No one stolen card ... Lol I've had to do it three times now ... They know xx ladycole

                          As always Kabam screws the players that have put alot of time and money in the game. Not fixing the issues pointet out several times, and ignoring our requests, incidents, reports and post on forum.

                          Hey, why not open an new server while at it, and destroying the game play for the the rest of us?

                            It is amazing how unorganized as well as uneducated kabam is in business ethics. They could make a ton of money if they made the game affordable for people to play and didnt rip them off.
                            If you look around on google there are thousands of players that are going to be quitting and are looking for a non kabam game. They have a horrid business strategy and absolutely no care for their customers.
                            They would rather sell $1000 worth of junk to 50 players than $100 worth to 10,000 players. This is a backwards business strategy and they are loosing money. I had a friend who bought $90.00 worth of the 3rd city chests and didnt get one. This is insane by anyones standards. She is quitting the game and will never play another kabam game again. People will pay honest money for an honest benefit. Put the 3rd city up for sale for a couple hundred gems and everyone would buy. But no they have such horrid ethics that they want a bunch of people to pay a 1000 dollars first. after squeezing every penny out they can, they will put them in the store.

                            2nd city deeds are also a joke. No other game would allow you to obtain a 2nd - 2nd city deed if you already own one. This is ridiculous!!!! Make them trade-able or exchangeable. Do something kabam or your very small gaming empire will come to a sudden halt. I have played many online games and the others listen to their customers. I also notice that kabam does not respond to any of the negative comments on their board. I guess maybe that is because they are ALL negative. We have an alliance of 72 players that are all going to call the BBB. Everything in this game is rigged and then promoted like it is not. Either start paying attention to your players and quit building the game only for the few that spend thousands, or we will put a legal end to your empire. Our alliance for one has agreed to stop purchasing gems all together and there are many alliances forming now were that is one of the conditions that you are not allowed to purchase gems. Make the game fair. and give us something for our money, or we will take your income away.

                            Also stop hiding from the negative comments. I see you say that there is no plan to make the 2nd city deed tradeable... WELL THEN MAKE A PLAN MORONS!!!! its not rocket science!

                              I too am disappointed in Kabam ... I will not be buying any more gems or participating in any of their special events. They have sucked the life and fun out of the game for me...
