Hey kabam! Heres an idea what about you slow down on your stupid armor and start handing out more hammers. Its kinda ridiculous that I have all this armor and cant use it because you choose not to give out hammers that most people need to finish their knights.

We can't forge to 10 lvl with normal hammers, even stell hammer is usless! I specially save 10 stell hammers for future use to forge new armors to lvl 10. Now I can used them like wooden..... It's rubbish.
Kabam please change forging lvl 10!!!

Ever since they messed with the forge rate forging has become hard. Pretty sad when bronze hammers are useless to get past lvl 5.

Best thing KABAM could to is return forging to its original incarnation, remove master hammers from the game and release the gold hammers to forge to level 11.

the old forge system was horrible! Why would you want that back? While it did allow you to forge up to lvl 10 i used crap tons of dust and hammers to do so and it pissed me off to know end when i would hammer something 40 times no level up. then 2 hours later hit it with 2 hammers and it leveled up! I have spent way less money leveling up gear with new master hammer setup. I will say they need to find a way to either release more master hammers so more people besides the top gemmers can obtain them and or at the least release that hammer above the bronze hammer so you can get your gear up to like 8-9 lvl at least. bronze hammers are all but useless now, imho.

The old system I found to be worse. Did you try to forge a lv 9-10 celestial gear in the old system it was brutal. The new system works better i think. They just need to start releasing lv 8-9 hammers to more people . The lv 10 hammer will probably always be a exclusive prize.

Sledgehammer, I was able to get several pieces up to level 10 before the new system. And Canadian, you are kind of making my point. Before the new hammer system you were able to (A) level up to level 10. (B) hammers to do said forging were available in wilds. (C) so it took a while, but it was possible to get to level ten without waiting so long for hammers to be 'released' at a whim. I don't know what it was like to level up celestial gear before the new system because I wasn't fortunate enough to have any at the time. Like you said Canadian they need to release higher level hammers to not more people, but to everyone. Maybe more in the Merlin's madness. Put some of the lower ones in the wilds. Make them available somehow but do it soon. And if level ten hammers are to be exclusive prizes say like the gold hammer or whatever it is you see in the forge screen, then I fear I will never get to level ten on most of my gear.

It may have been brutal, but at least it was possible. I had 7 pieces of gear fully forged prior the change. Not a lot, but at that time, my knight was pretty impressive and I had a decent 2nd knight. Now, there is virtually no chance to forge gear past level 7 without a master hammer. And since the change, I have not been able to achieve level 10 on any gear nor level up any 10 to 11. So I still have 7 pieces at level 10.

If I could use 42 bronze hammers and 336 purple dust to forge to level up to 10, I would be very happy. But I don't even have that opportunity now without a very rare level 9 master hammer.

Not having an opportunity is where the vast majority of players are now.

I'm sorry Canadian that you are looking at it only from a big gemmer's perspective. I have plenty lvl 9 hammers too, and yes it is much easier for me to forge gear now, but most people in my alli (hell, the whole server!) can't go past lvl 6/7, which means their gear is close to useless, because only the couple higher levels contribute to a half of the whole bonus. The differences grew so big people are closed. I mean dead closed. Not in the sense they had been closed in the past half a year, but actually closed. I saw two random guys post their coords in GC last night (that's really rare these days), and I zeroed them both with a couple t5 waves. They didn't get time to close. No scouts any more, just swooped in with t5, because I know they aren't one of the 5-10 players on the server that have their defenses up to date. That's just sick. Kabam did drop the ball with the hammers, even though it's more convenient to us.

Ya but if lv 8,9 hammers where more abilible the new system would be better. I'm sure they will be easier to get sooner then later.

That's a jerk move and the reason people are closed up tight! By hammering that guy yea you just got good TK but those guys will likely never open again unless they arrange it with someone. Had you not hammered them you likely could have gotten future fights with them and more over all TK. But whatever you playhow you like. I will say my celestial took over 1000 purple dust to get 9-10. I have won several level 8-9 hammers. The lvl 9 hammers get your gear to lvl 10 btw. The lvl 10 hammers get it to lvl 11. I have yet to get a lvl 10, btw. But I agree they need to release more hammers in the 7-9 range!
