MAIN RULES OF THE FORUMS

Please respect your community. Respect each other as you all enjoy the same thing ? The Game.

We encourage open and friendly discussion of the game and the Community. Moderators and Staff have final decisions on all matters, and are here to make sure that the Community remains a friendly, fun place appropriate for players of all backgrounds, ages and groups.

It is the forum member's responsibility to stay up to date on forum rules and to honor the behavior outlined.

PURPOSE OF THE FORUMS

These forums provide an area for constructive player discussions of the game. It also allows players to
help each other identify bugs and issues, and help each other reproduce and resolve them.

These forums are not the most direct way to contact support. If you?re having an issue with your game and you need direct assistance, please tap on the FAQ/Support tab within the game.

Please make sure to stay updated on these rules by reviewing this page from time to time.

This is a private board. As such, decisions made are final.
We reserve the right to remove any message board content without notice for any reason.


Rule 1: Responses to rule violations
Violating these rules will result in warnings, either formal or informal, suspensions, banning, or other sanctions.

Rule 2: Respect other users on the forums
- Do not make attacks or insult other users, either in the forums or through private messages. Disagreements and debates are fine, but don?t make it personal.
- Do not attack groups. This includes professions, races, religions, sexual orientations, genders, incomes, or even vague groups like ?you people.?
- Do not use ill terms which are offensive to groups, do not ?flame?, ?troll.? or ?haze?.

Rule 3: Respect the forum purpose and structure
- Make your posts in the appropriate forum.
- Please use the Search function. If a relevant thread already exists, please post there instead of creating a new thread about the same topic. Duplicate threads will be closed to keep the forums orderly and easy to navigate.
- Keep off-topic posts in the off-topic forum.
- Don?t start discussions about games that are not ours.
- Do not cross-link to other message boards or websites unless approved by a moderator.

Rule 4: Respect the law

Rule 5: Respect the audience
Think about who you're talking to. Users may be as young as 13 on these message boards, and may be male or female, and from countries across the globe.
- Keep your language civil. Profanity is frowned on.
- Do not post Adult Material, inappropriate graphic sexual content in any format, or links to sexually explicit sites.
- Do not post graphic images or explicit descriptions of violent acts.
- Do not use an avatar or signature that could offend other users. They have to look at it a lot.

Rule 6: Respect privacy
- Do not post any private emails or private messages unless you have the explicit permission of each person involved in the exchange.
- Do not post private communication between customer support, members, moderators, or administrators on these forums, or anywhere else. (This include support ticket responses)
- Do not post any information covered by a non-disclosure agreement or beta testing agreement. Even if you somehow have inside information about our competitors, for legal reasons we don?t want to hear it.
- Do not post Facebook information about other forum users.
- Do not post any private information about other users.
- Do not post in-game information in an attempt to have other players attack your target. Be careful to not cross the line into bullying.

Rule 7: Do not spam
- Do not post repeatedly about the same topic.

- Do not start a thread about a news story or article unless you make it clear what the story is about, and offer your own opinion to start a discussion.

Rule 8: Respect your account
- Do not share your account information with other individuals. You will be held responsible for any rules violations that occur under your account.
- Do not create new accounts or use other tricks to avoid suspensions or bans.
- Do not create ?sock puppet? accounts ? multiple accounts created just so that you can agree with yourself and make it seem like your ideas have more support than they do.

Rule 9: Respect the Moderators
- Do not post using the color red. This color is reserved for moderators.

Rule 10: Respect the decisions of the moderators
- The moderation teams reserves the right to warn, suspend, or permanently ban users judged to be acting against the spirit of the rules, even if the user is following the letter of the rules.
- Do not argue with moderators about moderator decisions. You can disagree with a moderator?s opinions, just like any other poster, but when they post moderator actions in red text, it is considered final.
- Moderators have no access to your game account. If you have an issue you must contact customer service.

Generally, BE NICE. There is nothing wrong with being nice to each other.

  • New Gear - please read before you spend another dime

    Okay, so I have busted my **** to get a knight with good defensive stats. My knight has a life of 621 and debuff of 50 includes all forged level 10 armor and level 11 sacred armor and Celtic Targe; and I have nine shield masteries and stay 20% buffed around the clock. I just got waxed by someone with the new kick shield. During the last kt I spent hours looking for ONE open red to hit and nothing. I think it is safe to say this is no longer a fighting game. I think it all began with the blood fury and has gotten worse over time. Now Kabam with their infinite wisdom decides to make an armor so attack heavy I lost 100k imps and 424k T3 in one hit. Lol, I guess add my name to the list, I will be closed for business too. Enjoy having all that gear buffed up and nobody to use it on. SMH

    I got the new rock helm from merlins. Have not tested it out yet. but its upgraded and forged to lvl 5. its debuffs are pretty good I think. But personally I think there should be no more gear made. There is way to much and its hard to keep up.

      The stats on the newest gear pieces show huge advantages for attackers. I agree w rathgar - it has been hard to find any who stay open 24/7 for awhile now. A few do, who have strong gear and heroes. And a few open for tk tourneys. But with the new gear adding such an advantage for attackers, it is likely to further reduce the number of people who stay open, or even who will open or tourneys other than pre-arranged agreements to exchange tks. I also agree w stuffinmuffin. There is simply too much gear. People are tired of trying to keep up. We have players leaving over this every day. Their gear is already outdated, they can't forge what they have to lvl 10 much less lvl 11. And if they do get to 10, they find their "top of the line" gear from a month ago totally outmatched by the newest gear. Most aren't willing to pay to upgrade gear that will so quickly become obsolete. So people resort to arranged fights w players of a similar level during tourneys. And a once-fun war game continues it's long, slow death.

        I agree with this statement 100%. I dont gem and do 200 wilds daily. My gear pales in insignificance now at 495.5% life 400% attack.

        To make things even worse....... they brought out master hammers which renders all other hammers useless so i no long forge above level 6!

        Kabam have not heard of the saying, it aint broke dont fix it!

          The reason I see that they brought out this new gear focused heavily on the attacking knight is because of the ratio that defenders received was much better than a person attacking with fully forged gear. I for one have fully forged attacking mixed gear and also for defender which including sacred gear and celestial for attacker and sacred and wisdom for defender. I have seen terrible ratios when I attack someone who has the exact same gear I have when I am forged higher. Another reason I see that they brought out this new gear is for the hero's that they have put into place. The hero's alone give you a way better defense stat when paired correctly along with the fully forged gear of the knight you have. To our dismay kabam will continue to come up with new gear to keep the players spending $$$ t in order to keep up with it all.

            Dang.....rediculous

            I know there's been complaining about fury closing the servers etc. People only fight because the agree with another player. We've heard it all. But this new gear with the new knights and adding a hero. Game over.

            Guys with 750+% attack knights with level 100 Hero...and then u throw a fury on that. Rediculous. 140k t3 killing over 1mt1 per wave with a skinned 685 and a decent hero.

            This game will need a server merge for the 25 people left in each server after these guys start smacking people around.

              Eagle, I got a 685 marsh with a 91 hero was skinned , was fury by a 725 with multiple 90 Heros, 140k t3 were smashing over a million t1, closed...

              Problem with that is u have 3-4 people per server with those knights maybe more. Everyone will stay closed now, the to contests are a joke. The game is so lopsided it's basically over. Average server has 600 actives, with these knights now people will never open. And koc has now became FarmVille. (Water my tomatoes)

                I hear you on this. I've also gotten bad ratios attacking someone w top defense gear even w my top attack knight. However, the attack bonus of the new gear forged even just to 10 skews things too far in favor of the attacker, even without heroes. When you add heroes into the mix, and the fact that heroes rest between hits, it makes it much more risky to open. If youre being gang attacked it would be difficult and costly to speed your defense heroes rest between hits. And if you're offline? Well...

                Only a few people open at all now. If they know they can be smashed by a souped up defense knight w high heroes even though they have top of the line defense gear themselves? Even fewer will be willing to open.

                I've been one of the many advocates for world merges. I'm beginning to think even merges can't save the game.... It's too out of balance. Of course merges would still at least give us more people with whom to play. Including more people w top gear grouped together who could at least fight each other. So it would extend the life of the game somewhat. But it's got to happen soon... More and more people are giving up. The endless stream of new gear, the impossibility of forging above level 5 or so unless you have master hammers, these things have discouraged so many people. And the fewer people left to play with, the less fun it is for those of us still left, which results in other people leaving. Downward spiral continues...

                  Game is definately ruined, kabam got way way too greedy and couple that with no customer service and constant bugs/glitches that are ignored and I don't know what they expect.

                    They buff % that heroes give always effects your city's resting or not. If you have a lv 100 greth his 80% life boost. Will always apply he just won't act like a elite unit while resting.

                      Yea I play on 38 for the last year, and I'm over it. Get the latest gear forge it up and then something better comes along before I get to properly use what I just forgedup. World 38 is mostly a ghost town now, sad to say. I've started playing in 115 and for now it's okay. Squire gear is mostly the best gear so knights are fairly even, they haven't started selling troops so RSS is still important. I would be happy if they never sell troop boxes and leave us with squire gear. I'm sure it's only a matter of time befor they screw up 115 but for now it's fun.

                        Agree here Gwh, I attacked someone earlier with a 3k t3 as a tester and didn't even kill a single troop, there were no imps there but I should have at least killed something, just another person added to my not attack list ... And there knight/gear wasn't even the best on our server,
                        I'm getting to the stage where I am gonna ask ppl to un-gear (un-gear my knights too) and attack just with knight level but I doubt anyone will go for that,so I doubt I'm gonna fight much in the future and instead of staying around 100mil might, I'll just grow till I get bored

                          Fully agree it's happening in a merlin12 - stupidly high gear and heroes - people won't open for them. More pleading in GC than ever before.

                            In my opinion this gear is long overdue. The ridiculous defense bonus just had to end, it was impossible to attack equal players without crying over your ratios. If it closes couple more people, so be it, but it's not very likely. It's fury that has always been the main culprit for people not staying open. 600% or 700% attack? Not such a big difference. But give someone a fury and he *will* crush you, unless you skin. That's why people are closed over night, not because of attack gear or heroes. Kabam should get rid of Furies, then we'll be able to keep the gates open again.

                            But i agree with the other sentiment, that the difference between players grew too big. Most players just set up a fight these days :/

                              I don't see the problem here? 140k t3 (3.36 million might) kills 1 million t1 (4 million might)? That hardly massive odds, in fact it's almost even. It's about time something went in favour of the attacking knight. For too long it has been heavily weighted in favour of the defence.
                              I used to be a big Gemmer but I don't any more and I managed to win a new shield just from the current comps purely from TK comps, ally comps and trainathons.
                              I agree the release of new gear is frustrating and needs to be halted or slowed down massively and the forging system needs to go back to what it was but for once it's nice to see something go in favour of the attacking person at last. If you look hard enough you will always find an open.

                              The new campaign mode is great for non gemmers as it's now a way for non spenders to be able to benefit and the free gems every month from the daily log in are a massive bonus too.
                              I never thought as a non Gemmer I'd be enjoying the game as much as I am now but it's still a lot of fun.
