We've encountered a number of wars over the past 2-3 weeks with very small players/alliances. The player/alliance have NO wall defense, hides their troops and have high store house/shrink research. You can hit him/them as many times as you want but nothing can happen. There comes a point where there simply isn't anything to do on this game. NO purpose. Frustration.
Kabam needs to find a way to get players to DEFEND their cities. There needs to be consequences for losing a battle. Losing GOLD just don't do it because GOLD is useless after mid game.
Here are my suggestion:
- Drop the might on Wall Defense. It's nothing but smoke and mirrors.
- When a city get defeated, population should drop to 0 (people die and flee from attack) causing resource production to halt. Similar to how TAX works, population should slowly go back up if there's no more attacks.
- Players should be able to exchange or ship gold outside of their alliance. This way, smaller players can pay tribute to an alliance. This is a way to pay yourself out of being attack or protection.
- AND HERE IS THE BIG ONE. *****DISABLE SPEEDUP ON MARCH******* This will level the playing field and promote reinforcement and good defensive game play. Yes, Kabam wants to make money. I get it. But with MORE battles and MORE coordinated game play, they MIGHT GET MORE PLAYERS to buy those damn GEMS.
I've been on this game for 6-8 weeks and also played Travian in the past. If Kabam wants a viable product that can last, they need to make this game more of multi-player and not simply a game of hide and seek with chat.
