Forum Rules [Updated 12/21/2016]

MAIN RULES OF THE FORUMS

Please respect your community. Respect each other as you all enjoy the same thing ? The Game.

We encourage open and friendly discussion of the game and the Community. Moderators and Staff have final decisions on all matters, and are here to make sure that the Community remains a friendly, fun place appropriate for players of all backgrounds, ages and groups.

It is the forum member's responsibility to stay up to date on forum rules and to honor the behavior outlined.

PURPOSE OF THE FORUMS

These forums provide an area for constructive player discussions of the game. It also allows players to
help each other identify bugs and issues, and help each other reproduce and resolve them.

These forums are not the most direct way to contact support. If you?re having an issue with your game and you need direct assistance, please tap on the FAQ/Support tab within the game.

CHANGES OR IMPROVEMENT

Please make sure to stay updated on these rules by reviewing this page from time to time.

This is a private board. As such, decisions made are final.
We reserve the right to remove any message board content without notice for any reason.

Rule 1: Responses to rule violations
Violating these rules will result in warnings, either formal or informal, suspensions, banning, or other sanctions.

Rule 2: Respect other users on the forums
- Do not make attacks or insult other users, either in the forums or through private messages. Disagreements and debates are fine, but don?t make it personal.
- Do not attack groups. This includes professions, races, religions, sexual orientations, genders, incomes, or even vague groups like ?you people.?
- Do not use ill terms which are offensive to groups, do not ?flame?, ?troll.? or ?haze?.

Rule 3: Respect the forum purpose and structure
- Make your posts in the appropriate forum.
- Please use the Search function. If a relevant thread already exists, please post there instead of creating a new thread about the same topic. Duplicate threads will be closed to keep the forums orderly and easy to navigate.
- Keep off-topic posts in the off-topic forum.
- Don?t start discussions about games that are not ours.
- Do not cross-link to other message boards or websites unless approved by a moderator.

Rule 4: Respect the law
- Do not post anything illegal under U.S. law, or encourage other users to break the laws of the U.S. or their country of residence.
- Do not encourage users to break terms of service. This includes giving information about how to find scripts, exploits, or cheats, as well as arranging to buy or sell accounts or virtual goods.

Rule 5: Respect the audience
Think about who you're talking to. Users may be as young as 13 on these message boards, and may be male or female, and from countries across the globe.
- Keep your language civil. Profanity is frowned on.
- Do not post Adult Material, inappropriate graphic sexual content in any format, or links to sexually explicit sites.
- Do not post graphic images or explicit descriptions of violent acts.
- Do not use an avatar or signature that could offend other users. They have to look at it a lot.

Rule 6: Respect privacy
- Do not post any private emails or private messages unless you have the explicit permission of each person involved in the exchange.
- Do not post private communication between customer support, members, moderators, or administrators on these forums, or anywhere else. (This include support ticket responses)
- Do not post any information covered by a non-disclosure agreement or beta testing agreement. Even if you somehow have inside information about our competitors, for legal reasons we don?t want to hear it.
- Do not post Facebook information about other forum users.
- Do not post any private information about other users.
- Do not post in-game information in an attempt to have other players attack your target. Be careful to not cross the line into bullying.

Rule 7: Do not spam
- Do not post repeatedly about the same topic.
- Do not spam users on the forums or through private messages.
- Do not start a thread without actual purpose.
- Do not start a thread about a news story or article unless you make it clear what the story is about, and offer your own opinion to start a discussion.

Rule 8: Respect your account
- Do not share your account information with other individuals. You will be held responsible for any rules violations that occur under your account.
- Do not create new accounts or use other tricks to avoid suspensions or bans.
- Do not create ?sock puppet? accounts ? multiple accounts created just so that you can agree with yourself and make it seem like your ideas have more support than they do.
- Never include your e-mail address or any other personal information in posts.

Rule 9: Respect the Moderators
- Do not post using the color red. This color is reserved for moderators.
- Do not impersonate moderators. Do not claim to speak for the moderators.

Rule 10: Respect the decisions of the moderators
- The moderation teams reserves the right to warn, suspend, or permanently ban users judged to be acting against the spirit of the rules, even if the user is following the letter of the rules.
- Do not argue with moderators about moderator decisions. You can disagree with a moderator?s opinions, just like any other poster, but when they post moderator actions in red text, it is considered final.
- Moderators have no access to your game account. If you have an issue you must contact customer service.

Generally, BE NICE. There is nothing wrong with being nice to each other.

    Level 10 Round Tower

    Other than drop rate of crests, has anyone seen any advantage to a level 10 Round Tower?

    there is no advantage to it other than a personal goal. I made it a personal goal that after one year of play I would be lvl10 on every building. just so happened on my one year anniversary date good ole merlin coughed up a divine on free chance and I built that bish,lol. it is literally the very last building you want to upgrade to lvl10.

        Ursonvs - now, your next goal should be to elevate every building that you can. At least your city will look good on a dead server.

          A major majority of my work was done by entering comps for elevation chests and divine elevations and with surveying. If you didn't sit there whining all the time Baratheon about how much you hate koc, you couldve achieved the same thing. I don't understand why you and several others constantly come in here daily to whine, I'm here to help as much as I possibly can with anything. Go try that in dark ages for a change.

            UrSONvS - I come in here daily to laugh at people who still think this game has a future. I'm pissed off at Kabam because:

            1. I've spent a lot of money to get multiple 250 knights, gear, ALL buildings in all my cities are level 10, whatever can be elevated has been elevated....at least to level *2, some further, but I don't really care to look and see. I can train all T4, so city 4 has *11 barrack or whatever. I've done all of this....and now the game is dead. I've wasted my money. That's why I'm pissed off and come on here to complain.

            2. I've posted for 6 months or longer that this game is dying, ways to improve the game, make the game fun for gemmer and non-gemmer alike. In return, I've gotten ZERO response from anyone from Kabam, and all they've done is continue to offer 200 million might troop chests and other things that further add to increase the gap between gemmer and non-gemmers. The game is only a money grab now. All we are seeing is dead servers.

            3. The only people fighting are the gemmers. The 500 mil or higher players. No one else is open. If they do they are stupid. So every server now is seeing only about 100 really active players....ALL BIG GEMMERS.

            4. A server cannot stay alive with only gemmers. Game gets boring. Fighting the same four people over, and over, and over and over again. Same gemmer. Comp after comp.

            5. Cheaters. Kabam won't get rid of the beginner bubble with 100 free gems for signing up with a fake email. The kill board is worthless now. It's a fraud. Buy troops with fake account, and kill those troops with your main account. Easy kills.

            So this game has no point anymore. Kill boards are fake, billion might gemmers, and billion resource bubble banks that make resources worthless. Whats the point?

            So yeah, all I do is complain because I'm pissed that I spent a ton of money to improve my cities, get the good knights, and Kabam has done nothing to save the game to keep people from quitting.

            So - I do play Dark Ages 2. At least it's fun.

            Just my opinion, I did enjoy the game as much as you do, but right now it's just not fun for me.

              If you think the only people that fight are the big boys, better not come to pell 52 then. Im right at 105 mil, never been bigger than 225 mil and zero out often. Im 163mil in the red on might gain vs lifetime tks and those are close to 1.4 billion and 27 lifetime in tks for that server so yuh...troop hoarding is not my speciality.

              You worry too much about wat other people are doing vs. What you personally get from your accomplishments. There will always be people that bend the rules in any type of competition. Yeah, it erks me also but i find ways to better them. I literally have people send to me on allie tk comps cause they know i stay open, i just dont care.

              Do i care for kabams customer support? Absolutely not

              Do i wish for a market so we can trade or give items i dont need anymore to my allie? Yes! We've had random people email the market question to kabam and we get the same response...we are working on it. Fyi, they been working on that for 7 months,lol.

              Bubble banks bubble banks.... who cares? Let them put the necessary work involved in one of those things. Trust me , bankers burn out quickly and my alliance doesnt use them anymore.

              I've spent my share of cash as well. Its a hobby for me. All hobbies no matter wat they are, become money pits.

              You've quit playing koc, fine by me its your choice and your hard earned money . don't come into a thread that i am trying to help someone and be a *** to me sir, you will be dealt with accordingly as i hope you would do the same thing to me if i had done it.

                I not trying to pick on you, but you are making my point clear.

                You have 1.4 billion kills, and are in the red for might gained by 163 mil, so that means lifetime, say over 2 years, you've gained 1.2 billion might. So yeah, you're a gemmer. Plus all your cities are level 10 and elevation to the max. Again, big gemmer.

                I'm not saying there's anything wrong with gemming. Not at all.

                What I'm saying is that the gap between gemmer and non-gemmer has grown so disgusting that there is no reason for non-gemmers to play. So servers are dying or are dead. That's all I'm saying. I used to gem a lot, but when there's no one to fight but other gemmers it's boring. I would gladly keep gemming if it didn't take me 45 min to find someone open. This is a phone game. I want to hop on in 5 or 10 min, train troops, farm, chat a little and fight someone. I can't spend all day on the game. That's why Clash of Clans and Dark Ages 2 are popular now. You can log on, and fight in a matter of seconds.

                The game needs balance again. So everyone can participate. To bring full servers again, you have to attract all types of players, not just the one's with deep pockets.

                The only way I see to bring balance to the game is force us to train might by getting rid of troop chests, force us to farm for resources by doing away with banks and inactives, force us to farm from actives or have our own fields again. You either protect your res or you don't train. Simple enough. Gives us a reason to fight and play the game.

                If you have a better suggestion on saving the game please share. I've got plenty of others as well, but no time to type them here.

                  But if a pict camp is a wild...?

                  After hitting 200 wilds just before the leprechaun event I was told that I could not hit any pict camps as I had already reached my 200 wild limit. SO...if pict camps re wilds I figured perhaps a level 10 round tower would increase the drop rate of gear and leprechauns too? So I gave it a try as I had a number of DI's in my items inventory. Not noticed any real changes as yet but hey...drop rates for city crests SUCK real bad so its hard to tell! Are you listening kabam!!! Seriously!!!! Its nothing like this bad in hobbit and you have dropped your price for deeds now so why do the drop rates for crests remain so poor???
