  • F.A.O BRENT/JESSE..Kabam Cheats Players yet again, Fake Accounts created by employees

Why do you keep locking this thread without answering the questions it raises? I assume it's because players are getting refunds from Itunes.

Milkymoneyballs posted this on the 22/12/13

I have been in contact with Itunes support and they refunded my money stating they have had thousands of complaints lately over this issue. All of the sudden in this world now that this has been brought up they have made troops available like crazy to hide the fact that they were indeed injecting themselves into the game. That is not fair practices by any means. If I ahve to spend $5000 to get might of 500 mil at the point we were in in the game and another player can get the same might for spending nothing, then that is cheating and all who play knows leader boards are very competitive. People spend thousands to try and climb tk and might gained boards and if the top player we are chasing isnt paying for their stuff then that is deceitful and once again greed. Plain and Simple I have researched and spent a tn of money on this game I do not mind spending the money but when I ehar that the company getting my money is using tactics to get me to spend more with odds that are not fair then that is plain wrong and in court Kabam would lose no questions asked.

More players should contact itunes and demand a refund. The way you have cheated players out of money is wrong. It amazes me that your investors MGM, Google Ventures, Warner Bros and Intel Capital allow you cheat and deceive players in the way that you do. These should be trusted brands but clearly they are as greedy as you.

    Jesse you say..
"It is policy at Kabam to NOT participate in tournaments. There are times that by testing out items Kabam employees have won prizes in dummy item events. When this happens, we make sure to adjust the prizes."

The questions raised in the original thread are far wider than just Kabam's participation in tournaments but how exactly do you police this? How do you stop employees participating in events?

P.S Given you and Brent have the time to lock of threads you don't like it might be an idea to answer the questions raised on other threads.

We know the Kabam employee account names and very few employees have access to the admin tool. Have an employee cheat their way into a prize would only hurt the company, thus we don't let it happen. I locked the thread because we've answered the question and have nothing else to say.

As I said Jesse the question is not just about kabam cheating in competitions, and not by a long way have you answered the questions raised in the thread. You stand accused of cheating, game and player manipulation, defrauding players of their rightful winnings, misuse of player accounts and you have nothing else to say..............says it all for me!!!

People are leaving KOC and Kabam in their droves they won't touch other Kabam games with a barge pole , and it's all down to your dishonesty and greed. . Kabams brand is damaged goods and no amount of locked and deleted threads will change that.

Either way Jesse locking threads, deleting threads does not make the issues disappear. It's just the same cowardly response we've come to expect from Kabam. It's about time Kabam tried honesty instead of dishonesty.

There is no incentive for us to cheat players. Making them angry will result in them leaving the game. With an online game, errors will happen. If I notice an issue with the payout of an event, I go in and fix it or send out items to the players who did not receive them. While not always the case, sometimes players receive items and don't realize it since it just appears in their inventory without a notification. I'm sorry you feel so angry. I want to make the game better, along with the rest of my team. You may not want to believe me, but I'm working hard to improve KBN.

            Jesse,
Kabam employees did cheat players and in the earlier stages of this game they did it to some tune!! If you read the threads not deleted by Kabam you can still find posts relating to players taking substantial financial and in game losses at the hands of Kabam employees.

Jesse, thousands of players did get angry and did leave the game!! I raised the matter with Riccardo at the time, his response stipulated that Kabam employees were "strictly prohibited" from taking part in the game. He was asked how Kabam managed to "police" this we got no response! ( now we know from Brent that Kabam employees have always been involved in the game and that Kabam have no real way of ensuring fair play). At the time we new Riccardo's statement was a lie but had no way of proving it. Why did Riccardo tell such bare faced lies Jesse?

You say " I'm sorry you feel so angry", in truth I do feel angry, Over the last few years I've watched as Kabam have ripped of one player after another, and you've done it in a stunningly arrogant manor. The real shame is that for every dollar you've earned running the game dishonestly you could have earned $20 by running the game professionally and honestly.

so what have you got left? Ector 8, Percival 7, Bedivere 23 and Kay2 (and others) are down to about 500 active (ish) players in each, that's only 5 full and active alliances on each server. 500 players on a game board covering 640,000 tiles........way to go Kabam. What is the future for these servers Jesse?

You say "I want to make the game better, along with the rest of my team. You may not want to believe me, but I'm working hard to improve KBN." I'm not sure if this statement is genuine but very naive or just another bare faced lie. Either way it matters little, the game is now so unbalanced it's beyond being saved. No one opens because of fury's,250's,gear and troop chests. So those with furys,250's,gear and troop chests have no one to attack (except by prior appointment for troop kill tourney's). There is no point training.....with so many troop chests why bother? You can't build as crystal chests are only available to the financially insane and there's little point surveying for gems that now can't be exchanged for crystals.

What's left? well you can spend gems trying to win items in tourney's that you can't use at the same time as chatting garbage on global. That's about it.

So you might want to improve the game and you and your team may be working hard to improve KBN, but in truth Jesse you represent little more than a distraction whilst Kabam continue to pick peoples pockets!!

If you really want to be helpful you could start by telling players what the future holds for KoC. That shouldn't take to long!!

All I can say is that at this current moment, on this team, we do not participate in Events. If we did, all it would accomplish is making players mad. We gain nothing by this. Only a handful of employees have access to the admin tool that allows us to change things in the game. We have zero incentive to compete against our players. There's nothing more I can say other than we DO NOT participate in events.

While I agree that Kabam employees shouldn't participate in competitions (and Jesse Kabam says they don't), I do think that Kabam employees should play the game. Since the last update, there is a change in the way we have to enter cords. Now we must press "done" after entering the first set of cords, and then click on the next box so we can enter the second set of cords. It's "just one more step" but Heck. It's One More Step! It slows my farming down! On a game that I'm playing while real life swirls on around me, so I don't need anything taking more time to accomplish what I need for it to! I would like for Kabam employees to play and experience that inconvenience so they would fix it and not have to wait until someone posts irritations like that and THEN Kabam realizes that they've introduced another change to the game that slows gameplay. And I think Kabam employees should play the game with a limited budget, so someone in the company experiences the game at the level of the non-gemmer. A year ago, people were joining the game and some stuck with it, but now the game has so many barriers for the new player that of the last 10 players who joined our alliance, one is still with us, and that person has an account in a different world. So no one has stuck with it who is new to the game.

                          Jesse,

This and other threads are about way more than Kabam employees cheating in competitions. You could start by asking Riccardo why he told the lies that he did. When someone tells you lies Jesse what do you think of them? When you've asked him perhaps you can ask him to come on here and explain his actions, although I doubt he'll have the backbone to do it. The one thing you know about every liar is they are also a coward.

If Kabam has an ounce of decency left it should be telling players the "life expectancy" of its servers and what (if any) its plans are for KoC. At the moment you are just running down the servers down whilst using every trick in the book to get players to part with cash.

                          Agrippa,

Our alliance in Ector 8 has left KoC. We felt the game had ground to a halt and ceased to be viable or fun (No one had had a support ticket sorted in months either. Just the automated response and then….nothing). As I said above there is now nothing to do except spend gems.
Game of War was not an option as it’s not available on all platforms, but the game we moved to is professionally run and way more enjoyable than KoC ,it also has vibrant and positive message board unlike this MB.
The decision to leave KoC was unanimous and not one member wanted to try another Kabam game. Even the die hards realised it was lights out when Kabam introduced 250's and Gear. Still today Kabam are still pedalling higher levels of gear, what are the gem nuts are going to do with a 250 knight complete with the "mother of all wondrous lionheart shadow gear"?....it's beyond me. Perhaps take a picture and put it on the wall.

It's funny you should mention Kabam interfering with accounts. Our chancey had his city opened and was based today!!! My account is now barely usable, it takes me over 2 minutes to log in and then crashes within minutes opening (all this happened within a day of us making it known we were leaving). We’ve known Kabam have manipulated dead accounts for a long time as well as maliciously interfering with the accounts of active players but it seems there is little anyone can really do. Kabam's management is shambolic and will remain so until there are wholesale changes at board and senior management level.

Kabam's involvement or otherwise with WEEZEEWIG, 3rd party gem sites and its "charitable collections" (amongst other things) are a whole different ball game. But are areas that should be scrutinised in a lot more detail. I'm sure a fraud team would have a field day with that lot.

I'm willing to have a discussion on this, but I won't keep talking in circles. We do not participate in events. There are times that we give ourselves items to test, which could result in us placing in a "have the most of an item" event. There are only handful of us that this could happen to, so when running the results of the event, we make sure that none of our Player Id's are in the results. We never participate in, ToM, Troop Kill, Train-A-Thon, ect. If we found out that someone was by using the Admin tools, we would reprimand them.

We are not trying to put one over on you, we would gain nothing but an angry player base by doing so. You can chose to believe me or not. There are a lot of us here working hard to improve on this 2 year-old game.

Might I suggest a tester world that you make available to your employees and to experienced players where you can test new items and even test out some of the crazy ideas we gamers have.

Call it tester 123 world and make it clear to players that not everything is going to be perfect and some things will need reset from time to time. You'd be amazed the feedback we would provide you for free and could save a lot of time and effort "walking back" bad ideas that make it to the game (like the locking of knights). You could even put in a voting and/or rating system to get feedback on what new features you are testing and how we like them.
