  • Reinforcing Alliance Members/Troop Kills

When I reinforce one of my alliance members and they are attacked. Do, I get any credit for those troop kills? I know that we reinforce our alliance members to help them, but it would be nice that if my troops are going to fight and I may lose all of them, that I get credit for it as well.

    Thanks!

You do not get any TK for your troops when they are at another players castle. You're in an alliance. They are your allies. My alliance in Horsa49 "The Hardcore Server" has a motto. "My troops are your troops" This means when ever a fellow member needs to be reinforced all members who can send will and do quickly. Most of the time we don't even ask for them but sometimes it happens. If you want to be in an alliance then you need to help out when you can. The credit that you get is by being a good member of your alliance and respect from your members as well. Now all that being said. If the day comes when you need to be reinforced and no one in your alliance helps you, then your alliance sucks and it would be time to find a new one.

Thank you Nexus for replying. My alliance is very supportive and we reinforce each other with no problem. I am not a "trouble maker" so my city does not get hit a lot. But I reinforce a lot and was just wondering if I got TK when I did that. Doesn't matter, I will still send troops, just wondered if I got some credit for it.

When I need reinforcements, my alliance is eager to help...I just do not need it much.

So, if anyone else knows this answer for sure that would be great.

Also, what IF the city we are reinforcing forgot to unhide his troops and those of us that were at his city reinforcing (without his troops or marshall, lol just happened) does he still get the TKs or do those of us at his city get them since he was hidden?

nexus you are correct that reinforcing is the way to play as a team. BUT. It really isn't fair to the players since most players will think twice before reinforcing a player who has rein'd them plenty of times if that player only has a level 59 knight. Not only does he not get any credit for the kills but the troops he sends only get the benefit of a level 59 knight even if he sends 5 level 212's.

You will get no credit for any kills when your troops are reinforcing another person's city. Doesn't matter if his troops are hidden or unhidden. I sucks but is the way of the game.

I truely beleive it would help if they did give credit to the reinforcing armies while yes you will get reinforments if you ask its usually the same batch of people reinforcing all the time. I think by giving the reinforcing armies credit you would strongly encourage more people to fight or reinforce others. you may not see it as much as most being in the hardcore server but most servers are dealing with a wordwide hugging issue that is making the game drawn out and boring. anything they can do to help make people break out of there monotonous hugging trends and fight would be helpful. and yes i know your going to say then come to horsa49 but ive got a lot invested were i am and starting over just isnt and option so its hope something new comes or possibly finding a new game cause building from stratch would just be insanely boring for me....

To be honest... I think the math/algorithm would be very hard to write into the code of the game.... trying to figure out who's troops killed what and so for up to 10 armies I believe would simple be too hard to do

I don't think it has to be that exact. The system knows that 54k (216k might all militia) of my 100k rein is dead and it seems to be able to show the total losses on the report. So if the total loss of the attacker is 400k (100k militia) and the total troop loss for the defender is 330k. Then my kills should get 65% of the attackers losses or 214k.

In my head it isn't that hard. I understand that this is not a perfect way to do it but at least if I have skin in the game and am taking a loss then I get some kills. People who reinforced with t3 would not get any kills but also would not take any losses until the overwhelming force bonus is reduced and only t3 are left.

T2 also changes the ratio of might killed and might lost in the battle since their might is exaggerated and the same thing for if the defender has wall units. But they couldn't make the might per unit uniform to the rate that the troops get stronger for some reason.

I'm with bob on this it already knows who's troops to kill and it's not just a set take so much of everyone reinforcing cause there's times I'm reinf with t1 and I don't loose any other times I loose all with both times still the reinforced guy had left over t1 so it does choose who's to kill so there has to be some code in effect already they would just have to use what's there to figure the tk of the reinforcer. Just my 2 cents. At least they gave us birds to look at..........

Look to be honest I'm fine with this feature. If this was the only thing in this game that bothered me I would be 1 happy guy lol.

It's all part of your alliance sharing the load ,,if you don't have. Members switching out or taking turns reinforcing,, lots of zeroed members on your team then ...... But I do agree kabam should make the player reinforcing get kills to, just seem more fair , and more likely to reio if your having that problem in your alliance that is ..

While I do agree nexus this isn't the biggest thing I'd like to see fixed I think it would help with one of the things and that's the inactivity servers are getting due to hugging. Something needs to be done to shake up the FarmVille effect as someone else put it. The constant log on farm que log off that many people are doing. This is supposed to be a war game not another FarmVille of how big can I make my army without actually doing anything. I dunno again my 2 cents.

One question... Does reinforcing knight provide any bonuses?

                          • #14
NO. A reinforcing knight does not effect the battle outcome. so no reason to send anything better then a level 1.

Only the marshal effects the battle and only if the troops in the city are unhidden. If not unhidden then the rein troops fight with a 0 knight even if the marshal is 212.

who gets the TK when reinforcing? I understand if I'm reinforcing my alliance members, I receive no TK, but does it at least go the the person defending?
