The problem here again is that you at Gaea monitor very closely the usage we make of free possibilities... and since one is used more and more, you unilaterally change the drop rate/ outcome without any warning nor acknowledgement of what you did. And this is unfair !

So far away from discussion of who's fault is it, who asked and who cried.. we have had a certain campaign with certain drop rates, please put it back as it was. Spending hours alone therein to prepare for Seasons, or whatever other contest, is everyone's choice and it is not abuse. You have had no reason to modify it.
In truth even though I agree that speeds are not premium items I wouldn't mind them to show in tournaments or madness once in awhile.

1 madness could be all troops absolutely nothing else next madness could have all the junk they seem to want to pawn off on us like medals, speeds, crystals ect. And that madness would be a 1 token madness next madness after that could be for 2 tokens again and have some troops , gear, jewels and maybe lv 3 banners and finally maybe do what they do on hobbit sometimes have a for token madness for gear, jewels, and 5 x and 10 x chests ( like 10 x Templar chests or 5x militia chests)

And it could be the same with the wheel the supposed point changing the wheel tokens was so we could have 2 token wheels or 3 token wheels

This is really what most players really want is for tournaments, mini games and campaigns to change it's prizes once in awhile

I'm beyond annoyed things get taken away from us and then are made 'premium' items. One step forward, two back. Just fix the drop rates back to something reasonable in camp. Try healing a hospital full of high tiered troops without the big speeds. There's no ability to even dismiss troops stuck in there, so if you've grailed or hit camp and filled them up it's a very long wait.

Whats your point Angel in this thread ? I have not seen you expressing any opinion here yet, quite the opposite, only picking up extracts to contradict.

For once in a while, since we seem having all a common goal, couldn't we just stick to the topic - being "Infinite speeds and campaign : please bring them back at a better drop rate " - instead of usual polemics of the hierarchy of what is more important for who. Thank you in advance,

You are correct, it is a players choice. But players make choices based on the options/availability in the game. When these change with no notice, then the decisions people make suddenly, and through not fault of theirs, become invalid.

Sure you can make smaller queues, but why should you have to when Gaea changes the game with no notice. And it is not like you can do this quickly.
Also, as far as using smaller speeds, lets look at the math for this.

So If I have a queue which takes 5 days to complete, and now I need to replace these with multiple queues which take say 10 hours to complete. So now instead of needing 1 infinate speed to complete the training, in order to get the same amount of might, I now need say lets say10 15 hour speeds. And where am I supposed to get these. The only place these are available is in Elite camp, where you can only hit 5 times a day.
Well lets say, you get your queue to under 8 hours. Now I have to hit camp 5 for these but need even more.

So how does this make sense.

This is the only thing we agree on. They should just be in campaign like they were before.

                Infinite Speeds

Regardless of who did what to further benefit their own personal (somewhat expensive) style of playing to the detriment of the majority, this issue has caused more frustration and forced more players to attempt quitting the game altogether above all others during the past few weeks.

Please just restore the drop rate in campaign for infinite speeds to something resembling that of a few months ago. It was never overly generous, as maybe it shouldn't be but it is now virtually impossible. Yes, I have rejigged my cities for shorter training times but to have to do this whilst also trying to compete in season 8, then subsequent Halloween event and also trying to have a life outside of the game has all but pushed me over the KoC edge. Not to mention the lack of the crystals required to finish the buildings to the required level but that's another issue.

You really dropped the ball on this one in my opinion, it was transparently an attempt to force people to spend more to ultimately achieve less during a time when you were no doubt aware people would be more than usually keen to compete.

First of all if you read my posts you would see i am for both increasing drops in campaign of not only speeds but other items that have just as bad drops and not only increases to campaign drops but also a campaign update ( that ends the actual purpose of this thread)

You and a few others have went off topic of this forum and brought up speeds in mini games now with that I agree we should not be spending 2 merlin tokens or 3 wheel tokens on speeds it is stupid but it isn't so bad if they lowered them to 1 token Merlin or 2 token wheels this would also help change things around which is what alot players want something different from same stale tournaments , same wheel , same madness, same everything.

If you don't want to get off topic don't mention off topic subjects in your post simple

Improve drop rates for infinite speeds in campaign

                    *Bump*

From a brief search, there seem to be very few threads on this forum that Desolationangel has felt the need to not contribute, rarely do the contributions appear to be constructive. Minor observation.

Actually there is a ton I haven't posted in ( may not seem so since I do post a lot) you may feel that I don't contribute ( this coming from someone who rarely contribute to anything at all 13 posts since started ) but I feel I do my feelings are close to what many of what the others that post are ( even though in some cases I do have some different views which everyone has and is allowed to have ) now this is the only response you will get since we should stay on topic so go troll some where else

It's pretty clear from the posts above that most players would love to have the speed drops in campaign returned to the way they were.

There withdrawal is seriously and adversely affecting the game on a number of levels.

After the 6 days this thread has been running some feedback from our community manager would be much appreciated. We look forward to a thoughtful and informative response.

As a final word, it's great to see so many players letting their voices and opinions be heard, many thanks to all for some great contributions. We do still care about our game.

                        Cheers.

Over the same period you've introduced these speeds into Merlins Madness and Lunettes wheel, however these two routes to attain speeds provide nowhere the quantity that campaign did...and nowhere near the quantity needed for players to be competitive in TaT's during tourneys like Halloween.

Perhaps more importantly these 24hr to Infinite speeds are needed to train and replenish T2 troops in open cities. Since the bonus's were awarded during single player TK's the amount of players opening cities for battle has increased...and the easiest troops to produce in quantity are T2 (But require the "heavy duty" speeds to make training viable). If players can't easily replace lost troops...those open cities will start to close. Very counter productive to what was a forward thinking initiative in the battle to make the game fun again.

I'm not sure why the speeds drops from camp were reduced but at the moment that decision is undermining the forward steps you've been trying to take with improving gameplay.... so.....with that in mind I'd respectfully ask you to reconsider your decision in reducing speed drops, and put speed drops back to the way they were.

                          Cheers.
I agree. This campaign does not give more hourglasses from 15h up. The others, fortunately, still can be found.

It's a shame that our community manager has failed to make any input on this thread...but really not surprising.

What is surprising is that non of vol mods have responded on this thread either. Given this thread has had well over a thousand views, you would expect some form of input from them. At least an acknowledgment of the concerns raised and an undertaking to get some form of feedback from Gaea.

If the vol mods are not communicating these concerns to Gaea and not providing any feedback from Gaea...then I fail see there value to the playing community.

Why on earth have you reduced the drop rates?

Campaign used to be worth hitting, why did you ruin it?
