hey gaea! as the pvp tourney has ended i think some feedback would be in order. overall i did not like it at all. and let me tell you why:
1. resources -> it was an amazing ordeal to get resources to train. overall i'm pretty sure the world was using more resources than it was producing. some of us little gemmers had to hit picts for resources as even high lvl wilds were inaccessible until very late in the game. the resources pack available in rt was super expensive.
2. glitches -> it had lots of glitches. i had team-mates that were complaining that some parts of the gear was falling off. some complained that they couldn't upgrade their knights hall. the most annoying of them all was the lag. i was zeroed more than once, while my troops were still marching back to the city (they had around 8 seconds on the march).
3. wrong marketing -> the event was designed and marketed as a celebration of old-school KOC. and yet we had 215 knights (old school, in most players perception, means 212), gear, jewels, master hammers etc. i used to gem very little in old school KOC and yet always manage to be on top. back in the days skill was as important as gemming. in pvp if a player would've decide not to gem, a gold finish was the best achievable objective. (in the early across-world comps, i managed to finish platinum without spending a single gem).
4. unannounced competitions -> in the last day you decided to add another trophy tk comp. which was great, as finishing with a tom comp is dumb. but you did not announce anyone about the change. i failed to participate in the tk comp. because of that i finished in gold league, instead of platinum league.
the only good thing about the pvp toruney is that we can choose what pieces to claim from the round tower.
i really do hope you'll make the appropriate changes so the content of the game is in sync with what you're communicating. or not make the changes, but let us know from the beginning.
