Forum Rules [Updated 12/21/2016]

MAIN RULES OF THE FORUMS

Please respect your community. Respect each other as you all enjoy the same thing ? The Game.

We encourage open and friendly discussion of the game and the Community. Moderators and Staff have final decisions on all matters, and are here to make sure that the Community remains a friendly, fun place appropriate for players of all backgrounds, ages and groups.

It is the forum member's responsibility to stay up to date on forum rules and to honor the behavior outlined.

PURPOSE OF THE FORUMS

These forums provide an area for constructive player discussions of the game. It also allows players to
help each other identify bugs and issues, and help each other reproduce and resolve them.

These forums are not the most direct way to contact support. If you?re having an issue with your game and you need direct assistance, please tap on the FAQ/Support tab within the game.

CHANGES OR IMPROVEMENT

Please make sure to stay updated on these rules by reviewing this page from time to time.

This is a private board. As such, decisions made are final.
We reserve the right to remove any message board content without notice for any reason.

Rule 1: Responses to rule violations
Violating these rules will result in warnings, either formal or informal, suspensions, banning, or other sanctions.

Rule 2: Respect other users on the forums
- Do not make attacks or insult other users, either in the forums or through private messages. Disagreements and debates are fine, but don?t make it personal.
- Do not attack groups. This includes professions, races, religions, sexual orientations, genders, incomes, or even vague groups like ?you people.?
- Do not use ill terms which are offensive to groups, do not ?flame?, ?troll.? or ?haze?.

Rule 3: Respect the forum purpose and structure
- Make your posts in the appropriate forum.
- Please use the Search function. If a relevant thread already exists, please post there instead of creating a new thread about the same topic. Duplicate threads will be closed to keep the forums orderly and easy to navigate.
- Keep off-topic posts in the off-topic forum.
- Don?t start discussions about games that are not ours.
- Do not cross-link to other message boards or websites unless approved by a moderator.

Rule 4: Respect the law
- Do not post anything illegal under U.S. law, or encourage other users to break the laws of the U.S. or their country of residence.
- Do not encourage users to break terms of service. This includes giving information about how to find scripts, exploits, or cheats, as well as arranging to buy or sell accounts or virtual goods.

Rule 5: Respect the audience
Think about who you're talking to. Users may be as young as 13 on these message boards, and may be male or female, and from countries across the globe.
- Keep your language civil. Profanity is frowned on.
- Do not post Adult Material, inappropriate graphic sexual content in any format, or links to sexually explicit sites.
- Do not post graphic images or explicit descriptions of violent acts.
- Do not use an avatar or signature that could offend other users. They have to look at it a lot.

Rule 6: Respect privacy
- Do not post any private emails or private messages unless you have the explicit permission of each person involved in the exchange.
- Do not post private communication between customer support, members, moderators, or administrators on these forums, or anywhere else. (This include support ticket responses)
- Do not post any information covered by a non-disclosure agreement or beta testing agreement. Even if you somehow have inside information about our competitors, for legal reasons we don?t want to hear it.
- Do not post Facebook information about other forum users.
- Do not post any private information about other users.
- Do not post in-game information in an attempt to have other players attack your target. Be careful to not cross the line into bullying.

Rule 7: Do not spam
- Do not post repeatedly about the same topic.
- Do not spam users on the forums or through private messages.
- Do not start a thread without actual purpose.
- Do not start a thread about a news story or article unless you make it clear what the story is about, and offer your own opinion to start a discussion.

Rule 8: Respect your account
- Do not share your account information with other individuals. You will be held responsible for any rules violations that occur under your account.
- Do not create new accounts or use other tricks to avoid suspensions or bans.
- Do not create ?sock puppet? accounts ? multiple accounts created just so that you can agree with yourself and make it seem like your ideas have more support than they do.
- Never include your e-mail address or any other personal information in posts.

Rule 9: Respect the Moderators
- Do not post using the color red. This color is reserved for moderators.
- Do not impersonate moderators. Do not claim to speak for the moderators.

Rule 10: Respect the decisions of the moderators
- The moderation teams reserves the right to warn, suspend, or permanently ban users judged to be acting against the spirit of the rules, even if the user is following the letter of the rules.
- Do not argue with moderators about moderator decisions. You can disagree with a moderator?s opinions, just like any other poster, but when they post moderator actions in red text, it is considered final.
- Moderators have no access to your game account. If you have an issue you must contact customer service.

Generally, BE NICE. There is nothing wrong with being nice to each other.

    Unfair offers

    Why is it that other worlds get offered things that my world doesn't? I know you are going to say it's because of where they are in their maturity cycle. So before you say that, let me tell you that I'm in V36 and the two worlds I'm specifically talking about are 82 and 81. They are getting offered better chests and even a better log in calendar. They have things in the shop that we've never seen before. Well, I've seen them because you apparently messed up and put their wheel in 36 a few days ago. So I know what kind of payouts these chests are giving. So far these are the only two worlds I've seen these things. And what's funny is that they are at medium fullness. Why are they getting brand new chests that we don't? Why do other worlds still have a 1 token wheel and ours is 3? We've sat here for several weeks getting crap chests and crap comps and these other worlds are getting some pretty awesome chests. Is this your way of merging servers? Getting us to leave the world we are in by starving us with crap offers? I even saw a 90% deal on chests. And I'm not talking about deeds and stuff. I'm talking about good chests. 300 gem chests were 30 gems. Make these offers and chests available to everyone. It's not fair.

    Your wheel is 3 gems because, believe it or not, people in your server will spend 3 gems. You have 300 gem chests vs. 30 gem chests because, believe it or not, people on your server will pay 300 gems. Kabam is just seeing how far they can push different servers and which make them money and which don't. Supply and demand. As long as people are willing to shell out the money to get the items, Kabam sees no reason to offer the older worlds good deals because players will just pay for what they want, no matter the gem cost.

    I'm pretty sure Kabam has each server ranked by profit, and if your world has a ton of gemmers, well then I would expect your world to have the most expensive items. Same as any business. A polo shirt in the rich part of town costs $200, the same shirt in a poorer part of town my cost $75. The rich folks pay $200 because they can.

    LOL! Sucks, but I'm sure that's how Kabam is running this "business."

      These worlds (82 and 81) are run by our European Office and are tailored to that specific region however we often do share ideas. If you saw something that you really liked please feel free to pm one of us and we'll be happy to take a look

        But Matt it isn't fair that the game is region based in price points. If you were going to do that then you should lower the points in North America as the economy is poor job rates are low and money that would be spent for gaming is siphoned for healthcare. There should be equality across the board not regional price points. Just saying a game should have continuity.

          All of it Matt. They have much better chests that pay out much better items. I don't understand why we can't have the same things. It's all the same game. Whether it's US or Europe. It's not fair to sit here and watch 2 worlds get awesome deals and chests we've never even seen. Believe me when I say I know what the chests are like. Their chests didn't just pay out the minimum worst prize. In the wheel I was talking about, even the worst chest was still better than a lot of ours. That wheel was one of the best things I've seen in the game. Does the money spent in 81 and 82 go to pay their checks? Because if it does, i would rather they get my money than the US team. They obviously have some good Game Team members there with good ideas. And it wasn't just the chests, it was how they paid out. Seemed they are willing to give good prizes for good money and not a very, very, very slim chance of winning something good.

            Yup, all of the new worlds, and especially the Non-english servers, get much better chests and item deals, or they get the same chests but they cost almost nothing compared to what the English servers have to pay.

              I agree and dissagree I play in Spanish server to English world Merlin maddness is 100x better then the Spanish one the Spanish ones do have better chests lots then English but we also get All of the new additions or as many cool events that's how I see the diff between my two worlds for example the appreciation badges tp didn't get fixed for non English worlds

                Your statement just proves my point. I'm sure the Spanish servers would like better things. And I would like to remind you guys that 81 and 82 are part of the English servers.

                  Ya I think it is still run by the erouop team they have the same maddness chests as my Spanish server gets

                          The Russian world has 1 token madness with good loot. So frustrating add in their cal has 300 gems for the month.
