  • Generally speaking, I see the imps as the opposite of a fury. If you have them, you feel encouraged to open up, which is great but people are more reluctant to attack because of them. With the fury it was the other way around. I wonder if the imps are kabam's attempt at creating some kind of balance. Now having the gear for the knights is just enough really. Do away with the imps. The furies and the skins are slowly fading away. That was one of the best things that kabam have done for a long while. Look when you really get down to it, the game was at its best before furies, skins, imps and knight gear. That was when the game was at its most balanced. All you had to worry about was getting that 212 knight, getting your cities built and training up armies. It was less complicated and basically more fun. If somehow you could return the game to this way it would be great. Or at least create a world where people who wanted to play old school style could go.

    • I don't really understand how Imperial Guardians are helpful to the nongemmer. The big gemmers in my world have a billion might and 100,000-200,000 Imps. So when I hit them with my non-fully-forged knight (the forging process takes more time and mental energy than I have to give to the game), my 90k T3 die and I get maybe 2000 TK in return. I have a few thousand Imps and they are easily taken out by a billion mighter with big geared-up knights in a couple of attacks. So they can farm me anytime they like because I stay closed. One of the great players in our world came back after a few months' hiatus, thinking he'd pick the game back up. Attacked some of the people who had been farming him with his 215 knight with no gear, and hit a big marshal and a wall of Imps. He said in ac "Wow. Knew I'd get killed but wasn't expecting a ratio that bad." He hasn't logged on in 18 days now. It seems to me that between the Imps, the gear and the big knights, the game is now impossible to resume for someone who has taken a break, and the login calendar is not going to correct that.

Since you're already on the disadvantaged with a weak knight going against a full forged knight with added defense bonus, even without the defender having imperial guardians, you would lose the ratios badly.

Why not open and wait for them to attack you? Even if you have a few thousand imp, it will still definitely help and will get you better ratios.

Imperial Guardians helps the non gemmer when he is defending against a gemmer.

Gemmers in my world have a few bil might and there's like 20-30 of them. They'll usually do the attacking against non gemmers, pretty sure attackers with fully forged knights do the attacking in most worlds.

              • "Imperial Guardians helps the non gemmer when he is defending against a gemmer."

TOO BAD YOU CAN'T TRAIN GUARDIANS AND CAN ONLY GET THEM BY GEMMING! - So it's actually not helping the non-gemmer at all, and the big guys wonder why no one attacks them! LOL!

Just another bonehead move by the worst run gaming company on the plant - KABAM.

I have 1.5 bill might, and I'm not hitting anyone with guardians. Plain and simple. Why waste 100k T3/T4/T5 and kill 1000 guardians. That's just dumb on my part.

Let us train Guardians as part of wall might. Let us train mages. Or get rid of both.

Guardians was a good idea to keep people open, the only problem is you can only buy them. So gemmers have over 700k of them and the non-gemmer has none.

Seriously Kabam. If you guys would just change a couple of things about the mechanics of this game, it would be the best war game out there again. Really. Instead of constant money grabbing, spend some time and fix the game. The money will come. If you build it right, the players and then the money will follow. Instead all we see is just greed without any concern for the players and if we are having fun or not.

You have a point there. However, to say that non gemmer has totally no imperial guardians is wrong. There was a period few weeks back where Kabam was constantly giving out imperial gems chests as prizes. Madness also pays out some guardians ( could get free token through daily email ). It is by no way comparable to the amount gemmers have but at least this something that non gemmers have will allow them to open up and gain something instead of being slaughtered. Just saying that guardians did help more people open up be it gemmers or non gemmers.

You mentioned at the start of this thread that you will give EXP charms to some of the players who post valuable info related to Imps. It has been over 2 months, any updates?

                          • Imperial guardians are the absolute worst idea to ever come from kabam. Why are they stronger than T5 with a might value of 1? If they are stronger than T5 then their might needs to be more than that of T5 otherwise what's the point in attacking, wasting millions of might just to get a few thousand in might killed and are way too readily available. I spend very little and have more than a million of them. They strongly discourage attacking, then when you finally kill them all, people close. Whose ever brilliant idea it was to make their might value 1 should be fired, these troops have ruined fighting in the game when your loosing hundreds of million might just to get scraps.

I dissagree there they have been a lot harder to get as of late whitch is awesome but they also encourage peeps to open. They have to be monatered for limits sake but they do help the game if they are attained in moderation.

they get people to open yes, but Ive killed millions of guards only for people to close after they are gone. shoot, spend five minutes reading global during TK tournaments and all you see is " who is open without guards" that right there should tell you something.
