I agree completely. Let us trade in our DE for DI or crystals in the round tower. Why not let those who finish higher have a choice in prizes in so much as they can turn in useless stuff for something else.

Jesse, no point doing more de, you need high level enchanted and wonderous crystals. Not a few, I mean enough to level up properly. You mentioned earlier that you would still give de to high levels, this is missing the point, even people who win the comps do not need them, we need crystals, lots of them :-)

DEs elevate you to the final elevation level. We will use them for higher end rewards instead of rewards for lower places.

Hi Jesse thank you for actually replying to this thread, but the point is that DE are largly uselss as you have made it so hard to get mystic, enchanted and more importantly wondrous crystals, personally I have so many building stuck at levels 3-9 elevated its pretty ridiculous in all honesty.

for me to level up any of my buildings now the only choice I have is to buy the things or build so slowly it more or less makes the game impossible to play now from the perspective of building a city.

an example of this is the time it would take to level up one of my lvl 9 elevated buildings to level 10 (if you could actually trade in the saphires, so here goes:

when it is a trade in you need 10 sapphires for a wondrous enchanted chest, where you get 1 more often than not so based on the lowest common denominator the following happens:

to level up 1 building from 9 -10 you need 250 mystic crystals, which mean you need to survey 2500 wilds (10 surveyed sapphires = 1 wondrous crystal)

20 wilds per day = 2500 / 20 = 125 days to do 1 level of 1 building

to put this into perspective for you I currently need just to finish off the lvl 8/9/10 elevated buildings (not counting the other 50 buildings that are currently stuck between lvl 1-7 elevated which is 50 units) in my cities over 5000 wondrous crystals that equates to me surveying every day for the next 2500 days or 6.8 years

I think its time you figured out that you have this elevating all wrong, ive not done the complete numbers on this but for me to get my cities completed by surveying alone, I think I would have to play for another 20 + years

im happy for you to have a look at my cities to prove I am telling the truth here, but the point to all this really is a game apart from the fact this should be about troop kills should be about progression, and you are not allowing players to progress their cities

Kabam, you need to listen to this, this captures the issue exactly. Is m in a similar situation, and the difficulty levelling up owing to lack of crystals is a joke!

I hope all these posts are being read as "we're struggling to get crystals so while des are pretty we can't really use them" not "we don't want des".
I spent a year trying to win dis from Merlin ( I got two) so am happy to have a few de tucked away for the future, but unless we can exchange for wonderous crystals I'll never use the de.
Also in terms of comp prizes I think kabam have made a few mid-comp changes to Improve the progressive weakening of prize tiers (rather than low place prizes being better than mid place) but it's still a work in progress.

Thanks for the comps But I agree with this guys, pls put more comps with DI and crystal prices please.
DE are useless unless we have crystals, in which we don't. And using 50 gems or so to buy 10 crystals is not only crazy expensive but a very bad deal.
50 gems should at least buy you100-130 wonderous crystals.

Divine Elevations are a great prize. It's just that the crystals aren't as available as they should be. The payout rate on the chests should be higher. Also I don't get why you have to buy other stuff in bundles in order to get what you want. If you want wondrous, you have to buy all of the other crystals. It's like forcing you to buy stone every time you buy a troop chest.
