Forum Rules [Updated 12/21/2016]

MAIN RULES OF THE FORUMS

Please respect your community. Respect each other as you all enjoy the same thing ? The Game.

We encourage open and friendly discussion of the game and the Community. Moderators and Staff have final decisions on all matters, and are here to make sure that the Community remains a friendly, fun place appropriate for players of all backgrounds, ages and groups.

It is the forum member's responsibility to stay up to date on forum rules and to honor the behavior outlined.

PURPOSE OF THE FORUMS

These forums provide an area for constructive player discussions of the game. It also allows players to
help each other identify bugs and issues, and help each other reproduce and resolve them.

These forums are not the most direct way to contact support. If you?re having an issue with your game and you need direct assistance, please tap on the FAQ/Support tab within the game.

Please make sure to stay updated on these rules by reviewing this page from time to time.

This is a private board. As such, decisions made are final.
We reserve the right to remove any message board content without notice for any reason.

Rule 1: Responses to rule violations
Violating these rules will result in warnings, either formal or informal, suspensions, banning, or other sanctions.

Rule 2: Respect other users on the forums
- Do not make attacks or insult other users, either in the forums or through private messages. Disagreements and debates are fine, but don?t make it personal.
- Do not attack groups. This includes professions, races, religions, sexual orientations, genders, incomes, or even vague groups like ?you people.?
- Do not use ill terms which are offensive to groups, do not ?flame?, ?troll.? or ?haze?.

Rule 3: Respect the forum purpose and structure
- Make your posts in the appropriate forum.
- Please use the Search function. If a relevant thread already exists, please post there instead of creating a new thread about the same topic. Duplicate threads will be closed to keep the forums orderly and easy to navigate.
- Keep off-topic posts in the off-topic forum.
- Don?t start discussions about games that are not ours.
- Do not cross-link to other message boards or websites unless approved by a moderator.

Rule 4: Respect the law
- Do not post anything illegal under U.S. law, or encourage other users to break the laws of the U.S. or their country of residence.
- Do not encourage users to break terms of service. This includes giving information about how to find scripts, exploits, or cheats, as well as arranging to buy or sell accounts or virtual goods.

Rule 5: Respect the audience
Think about who you're talking to. Users may be as young as 13 on these message boards, and may be male or female, and from countries across the globe.
- Keep your language civil. Profanity is frowned on.
- Do not post Adult Material, inappropriate graphic sexual content in any format, or links to sexually explicit sites.
- Do not post graphic images or explicit descriptions of violent acts.
- Do not use an avatar or signature that could offend other users. They have to look at it a lot.

Rule 6: Respect privacy
- Do not post any private emails or private messages unless you have the explicit permission of each person involved in the exchange.
- Do not post private communication between customer support, members, moderators, or administrators on these forums, or anywhere else. (This include support ticket responses)
- Do not post any information covered by a non-disclosure agreement or beta testing agreement. Even if you somehow have inside information about our competitors, for legal reasons we don?t want to hear it.
- Do not post Facebook information about other forum users.
- Do not post any private information about other users.
- Do not post in-game information in an attempt to have other players attack your target. Be careful to not cross the line into bullying.

Rule 7: Do not spam
- Do not post repeatedly about the same topic.
- Do not spam users on the forums or through private messages.
- Do not start a thread without actual purpose.
- Do not start a thread about a news story or article unless you make it clear what the story is about, and offer your own opinion to start a discussion.

Rule 8: Respect your account
- Do not share your account information with other individuals. You will be held responsible for any rules violations that occur under your account.
- Do not create new accounts or use other tricks to avoid suspensions or bans.
- Do not create ?sock puppet? accounts ? multiple accounts created just so that you can agree with yourself and make it seem like your ideas have more support than they do.
- Never include your e-mail address or any other personal information in posts.

Rule 9: Respect the Moderators
- Do not post using the color red. This color is reserved for moderators.
- Do not impersonate moderators. Do not claim to speak for the moderators.

Rule 10: Respect the decisions of the moderators
- The moderation teams reserves the right to warn, suspend, or permanently ban users judged to be acting against the spirit of the rules, even if the user is following the letter of the rules.
- Do not argue with moderators about moderator decisions. You can disagree with a moderator?s opinions, just like any other poster, but when they post moderator actions in red text, it is considered final.
- Moderators have no access to your game account. If you have an issue you must contact customer service.

Generally, BE NICE. There is nothing wrong with being nice to each other.

Elevate-a-thon WE CAN"T GET CRYSTALS!!

    Elevate-a-thon WE CAN"T GET CRYSTALS!!

    What the hell guys? We can not buy crystals and you don't offer them with troop chests anymore and the survey thing take forever and is not worth the time. At best we get 30 jewels per day which for the wondrous crystals would be 3 chests. 3 chests almost always is 1 crystal each so 3 crystals per day. Most people after the last elevate-a-thon are stuck with only the buildings that cost 250 crystals to elevate. That means it would take 84 days worth of surveying to level up 1 building!! I'll grant you that sometimes you get a 3 or ten crystal chest but still say a month or two for enough to level up one building. It hasn't even been that long sense the last elevate-a-thon! On top of that you don't have the exchange in the round tower for trading in jewels for wondrous crystals anyway!!!

    Also you have a Wild attack event but limit hits to 200 per day and then an attack pict event which for some reason picts count as wilds so we are limited on them too. Also you start the events in the middle of a day after many people already hit most of their daily limit so are at a disadvantage!!

    Hey Alien8, Im assuming your the one in Ector46. I was about to make this same post. These clowns don't have a clue. They are determined to kill this game. But yes, Alien8 is correct. WE CANT GET CRYSTALS DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Stupid event to run in Ector46 Kabam.

      It's kinda pointless to even spend money to elevate your buildings in this contest. Alien8 has already commented on surveying and how long it takes. If crystal chest are bought, it does not represent a good return. *8 to 10 requires 310 wondrous crystals if I'm not wrong and a wondrous crystal chest cost 50 gems and only provides 10 wondrous crystal. We'll need around 1550 gems to elevate from *8 to 10. Plus the payouts are significantly downgraded from the last elevate a thon. Kabam should really improve their prizes if they want us to be spending so much.

        Its a total joke! If u buy the crystals chest from the shop. Is even a worse return than actually surveying wilds lmao.
        To spend 50 gems for 10 crystals is either a bad joke from kabam or is just a cynical return for your money is worth!
        Or they think all players are thick as a brick!
        Which is it?
        Or yeh kabam improve the wild surveys crystal returns PLEASE!!!!!

          Damn it guys, come on! No reply to this important post despite it being bumped up 3 times. Ector46 has no option for trading in sapphires for wondrous crystals in the round tower!! This event has one day to go and I have a pile of sapphires and nothing else so I cant upgrade anything! The higher level buildings take long to do so I'll be lucky if I can compete in this event at all now. Also, we have no crystal chests available to buy anymore and most of us used all our crystals on the elevate-a-thon last week. I hope you can make it up to us by having crystals available with all different troop chests and Merlin's madness like you use to do and also greatly improve the jewel trade in chests because right now they are a total waist of time. Then please hold an other elevate-a-thon.

            It would be helpful if at least we could exchange sapphires in the round tower. An improved drop rate when the wondrous chests are opened would be so appreciated by all.

              And I got effed on this! I had only been collecting sapphires for the last couple weeks and you offered no exchange in the round tower for wondrous crystals. You also took away the crystal chest that have always been for sale. Way to screw us over. I posted this on the first day of event and its been bumped up many times and not even a response. I don't get it. You have 3 or 4 paid people that look over these forums and nobody noticed this post? I read all the top 5 or 6 posts every morning. How could you not have seen this!!?? We are all still waiting on the results for the attack wilds event and attack pict event from over a week ago but I'm betting that you are procrastinating on that because you effed up putting limits on and now you don't want to pay everyone the top prize. Am I right?

                As mentioned crystals take too long and are too expensive. Please evaluate you $/gem ratio or your gem/box ratio. It would also be nice to increase the gem/survey ratio. Maybe 3, or 5 is the lowest possible outcome.

                And currently vort17 can not craft wonderous crystals. How about a 500 each crystal type pay out to make up for extended payout periods on events. Or allow us to trade in our unused vitality spheres for crystals. Or unused resource buffs for crystal boxes.

                Or, dump the 20k resource prizes from Merlin n add crystal boxes. I'd rather take my chances at mystic crystals at this point than 20k ore or gnomish stone cutter. I have hundreds of unused resource buffs.
