  • Beat the Boss Contest in 37 is not working

The beat the boss contest in Guinevere 37 is broken, so it seems. The "boss" city acts as a wild and there are no troops to kill unless someone happens to reinforce the wild. In fact if you send troops and take possession, the report you get is that you captured a grassland. The leader board is blank, which means that any troops killed, which happen to be player troops, not boss troops, aren't being tracked.

The second complaint, beyond the fact that it doesn't work, is that kabam is advertising the prize of a grail training for a 205 knight?!? Why isn't it a 215? I thought that is what grail training produced. What is the logic for a 205 when other promos are offering 215s? Is it that if you kill your troops the prize shouldn't be worth as much as if you spend gems?

Same problem in 38. Although it is fun watching players attacking the wild zero'ing each other (or nearly) and not actually registering a beat the boss score (as its each other and not the boss they are attacking)

Kabam could at least acknowledge the mistake and fix it. Do they really think that no one is participating and that's why the rankings are empty?

        Hi guys,

Thanks for bringing this matter to our attention! Our Game Team has been alerted to this and they're currently looking into the situation. For now, please refrain from Attacking the Boss Tile coordinates. Thanks for your patience!

I am reining the boss tile and already lost 20million might not to mention my alliance member reining the boss wild I control. I assume that my troops and even those who reinforced me should get their troop back because of this issue?

We recently discovered there was an error during the event initialization procedure of the Beat the Boss event for Worlds 36, 37, 38, and 39. As we noticed this issue we had to manually turn off the boss tile event for these 4 worlds. The rest of the worlds were able to run the Beat the Boss tournament accordingly.

As a result, if you were participating in the Beat the Boss Tournament for worlds 36-39, please feel free to submit a Support ticket regarding any troop losses that you may have experienced. The Customer Support agent should be able to assist you if you also provide a Attack report number.

To submit a new ticket, please contact Support from within the game by tapping on your player name in the upper left hand corner > "?" > "Contact Support". You may need to open up an article and select the "I need more help" button located on the bottom of the Support Page. After you select that button, you can click on "Contact Support" and continue with writing in your Question to support.

I submitted a support tick on this while the event was still active - It was closed with no responce from Kabam. I submitted a second ticket and got this reply..
                Greetings,
Thank you for taking the time to write in. If I understand correctly you lost a lot of troops in the Beat the Boss Tournament. I'm sorry this happened and I will be glad to address the issue for you.

In review of the reports you provided, 9 of the 11 were you attacking and being attacked by other players. The other 2 were you attacking 2 different Grasslands. The only battles that qualify for the Beat the Boss Tournament were attacks on the designated enemy target before the end of the event. My apologies, but I am unable to provide a restoration for your issue.

                Regards,
                Dave B.

Kabam needs to make up thier minds. Will we be given credit as Jennifer said above or not. If not, I am done with Kabam. I will not spend another cent with them on any game and will pursue a refund through apple on money I did spend.

                Here is my reply:
There was no designated enemy target. The event was not setup correctly. This was acknowleged on your forum. The tile was showing up as a city yet the description said it was a grassland. Many many people were attacking those cords (the ones provided by kabam) assuming that the event was setup correctly. If you look at all of the reports you will see all the battles were all at the same cords. Yes it showed up as a grassland but that was do to Kabam's error. A post by your employee "Jennifer" on your forum:

                (provided link to post above)

It states that we will be given credit if we provide report numbers. I did. I even have screen shots of each report if you need them.

I should be given credit for all troops lost at these cords as well has for the portal of refuge i used to move closer to those cords for the event.

@Jennifer why has there never been a beat the boss tournament in Gawain25? I don't think its fair that most other worlds have had this event but not your older worlds. If Kabam can get this event in Gawain25, it would be nice for Kabam to disable blood furys because that would obviously give other an unfair advantage. Also, could kabam make it so every attack is a instant attack and an instant return for the march because its not fair for those who arent as close to the designated coords, as they won't be able to kill as much in a short period of time. Thanks for considering this.

Still no resolution to this. Is it going to be taken care of?

still waiting... This combined with the new "features" of the 14.0 update have me teetering on quitting. Any suggestions of alternat games with similar team/social aspect? And without the greed factor Kabam brings?
