MAIN RULES OF THE FORUMS

Please respect your community. Respect each other as you all enjoy the same thing ? The Game.

We encourage open and friendly discussion of the game and the Community. Moderators and Staff have final decisions on all matters, and are here to make sure that the Community remains a friendly, fun place appropriate for players of all backgrounds, ages and groups.

It is the forum member's responsibility to stay up to date on forum rules and to honor the behavior outlined.

PURPOSE OF THE FORUMS

These forums provide an area for constructive player discussions of the game. It also allows players to
help each other identify bugs and issues, and help each other reproduce and resolve them.

These forums are not the most direct way to contact support. If you?re having an issue with your game and you need direct assistance, please tap on the FAQ/Support tab within the game.

CHANGES OR IMPROVEMENT

Please make sure to stay updated on these rules by reviewing this page from time to time.

This is a private board. As such, decisions made are final.
We reserve the right to remove any message board content without notice for any reason.


Rule 1: Responses to rule violations
Violating these rules will result in warnings, either formal or informal, suspensions, banning, or other sanctions.

Rule 2: Respect other users on the forums
- Do not make attacks or insult other users, either in the forums or through private messages. Disagreements and debates are fine, but don?t make it personal.
- Do not attack groups. This includes professions, races, religions, sexual orientations, genders, incomes, or even vague groups like ?you people.?
- Do not use ill terms which are offensive to groups, do not ?flame?, ?troll.? or ?haze?.

Rule 3: Respect the forum purpose and structure
- Make your posts in the appropriate forum.
- Please use the Search function. If a relevant thread already exists, please post there instead of creating a new thread about the same topic. Duplicate threads will be closed to keep the forums orderly and easy to navigate.
- Keep off-topic posts in the off-topic forum.
- Don?t start discussions about games that are not ours.
- Do not cross-link to other message boards or websites unless approved by a moderator.

Rule 4: Respect the law
- Do not post anything illegal under U.S. law, or encourage other users to break the laws of the U.S. or their country of residence.
- Do not encourage users to break terms of service. This includes giving information about how to find scripts, exploits, or cheats, as well as arranging to buy or sell accounts or virtual goods.

Rule 5: Respect the audience
Think about who you're talking to. Users may be as young as 13 on these message boards, and may be male or female, and from countries across the globe.
- Keep your language civil. Profanity is frowned on.
- Do not post Adult Material, inappropriate graphic sexual content in any format, or links to sexually explicit sites.
- Do not post graphic images or explicit descriptions of violent acts.
- Do not use an avatar or signature that could offend other users. They have to look at it a lot.

Rule 6: Respect privacy
- Do not post any private emails or private messages unless you have the explicit permission of each person involved in the exchange.
- Do not post private communication between customer support, members, moderators, or administrators on these forums, or anywhere else. (This include support ticket responses)
- Do not post any information covered by a non-disclosure agreement or beta testing agreement. Even if you somehow have inside information about our competitors, for legal reasons we don?t want to hear it.
- Do not post Facebook information about other forum users.
- Do not post any private information about other users.
- Do not post in-game information in an attempt to have other players attack your target. Be careful to not cross the line into bullying.

Rule 7: Do not spam
- Do not post repeatedly about the same topic.
- Do not spam users on the forums or through private messages.
- Do not start a thread without actual purpose.
- Do not start a thread about a news story or article unless you make it clear what the story is about, and offer your own opinion to start a discussion.

Rule 8: Respect your account
- Do not share your account information with other individuals. You will be held responsible for any rules violations that occur under your account.
- Do not create new accounts or use other tricks to avoid suspensions or bans.
- Do not create ?sock puppet? accounts ? multiple accounts created just so that you can agree with yourself and make it seem like your ideas have more support than they do.
- Never include your e-mail address or any other personal information in posts.

Rule 9: Respect the Moderators
- Do not post using the color red. This color is reserved for moderators.
- Do not impersonate moderators. Do not claim to speak for the moderators.

Rule 10: Respect the decisions of the moderators
- The moderation teams reserves the right to warn, suspend, or permanently ban users judged to be acting against the spirit of the rules, even if the user is following the letter of the rules.
- Do not argue with moderators about moderator decisions. You can disagree with a moderator?s opinions, just like any other poster, but when they post moderator actions in red text, it is considered final.
- Moderators have no access to your game account. If you have an issue you must contact customer service.

Generally, BE NICE. There is nothing wrong with being nice to each other.

merlin madness , premium items ??

  • merlin madness , premium items ??

    Id really like to know how these items are premium items,, *5 imperial trainings, normal hero medals ,iron charms, copper charms ,yep copper charms I just got one n an iron charm in 2 token premium merlin. These items are in campaignn also in explores n really shouldnt be in merlins premium, they are not worth 2 merlins tokens, things are getting worse n worse each day,, glad ive never spent on this game its getting rediculous,no wonder players are leaving to play new games.

    Since that is what they have told the players. Only fair to give it back.

    In the past, I have tried to be more diplomatic with my posts. But these folks are seriously clueless. They have purchased a game in which they have no knowledge of its history, how to play it nor what is needed to be successful to play it.

      There will always be a mix of rare and more standard items in madness. As a veteran player posted in one of the crossworld line chats: "It's a "chance" of getting a good/great item for little cost. Not a guarantee."

      That said, we agree that some prizes do not belong in premium madness. Gaea had taken the very low level prizes out of the past few madness cycles, but we have flagged for them that the low prizes have reappeared this time around. We will continue to keep an eye on this and share feedback when necessary.

        Ty guinevere and yes I agree ,,but iron n copper charms,? did they take somethings out n put worse things in ?, 1 token madness I could understand but not 2 tokens.and pls do talk to them again if u can.it really is an insult to get these items for a premium madness..

          To clarify... They removed items such as blood frenzy, stone skin and low level charms from the last few madnesses after we shared player feedback (including our own) that these items are not "premium." Low level items turned up again today, and yes, we have already provided feedback about this.

            This is not complicated. Try and explain it this way.

            Gaea want people to spend money.
            In order to spend money, people expect some value for their money.
            The better they make the madness, the more likely people are willing to spend money to get the items that available.
            Having the same BS madness month after month with crap items, not only doesn't get people to spend money, it makes people leave the game so they can never spend money.

            I am getting ready to be one of those people that will quit and therefor never spend again.
            Many people have already quit.
            Get your act together before it is too late.

              Yes low-end items has been gone from the last 2 madnesses but the question is why did you bring them back there is no point to it . Iron ,and copper charms have no use at all bronze has very little but still not worth spending money or time on silver I can atleast somewhat see even though you can get gold in campaign and I would forgive medals from being in madness since it is possible others are still we working on heroes but they show so much it is ridiculous I would rather see troops show up more then medals and of course there will be some low end junk but the problem is it is mostly low end junk not even low end troops which have some use it is junk that thas little to no use in the game

              The madness before last was near perfect no copper , iron, or bronze charms no frenzies or stones no hammers below 10 and it had plenty of troops

                Crappy madness on wednesdays

                It's a fact. After Kabam/Gaea's tuesdays' token comps, there comes a crappy madness to force players spend the tokens recently obtained. It has been this way since the token comps were introduced on tuesdays and gems comps on wednesdays. Advice: only spend your tokens on saturdays' madness. No matter what Kabam/Gaea and their new moderators tell you, it is what it is. And they'll keep it that way.

                  There are some worlds that have new players struggling to get their games started. One of the issues that was reported over a long a period of time was the lack of exp charms being given. The charms were asked a lot from new worlds where players can start fresh and proceed in the game. You may argue that the campaign drops them, but they will need the charms to have a chance a participating in campaign. Like previously stated it is a chance game of winning premium prizes, but the other prizes are just as useless to some other players. It was requested and it has been added to benefit the smaller players. We are sorry if you are not satisfied with this but please be aware of the others and how this effects them.

                    Have to agree with this. Particularly in server 119 where all new accounts are started by default. I took a long break from the game and the struggle to catch up is very real. I still need lvl 1 banners certain hero medals (round table heroes not the other useless ones) hammers jewels etc etc. As do many others. As for experience charms. No I have to disagree. Charms are easy to attain through tournaments and campaign and should not be in premium chance. At least not anything but gold.

                        There are multiple ways to address the discrepancy in worlds age.

                        At one time Kabam would offer different madnesses to different worlds based on their age. Put the items in each world needs.

                        Another way is to replace the crappy resources in Explore with copper, iron and silver charms. If some one is desperate for resources, then rub the ball to four or less stars to get Peon chests. These are even better than the rss quantities at 6 stars.

                        A third way would be to replace rss in regular merlin with these charms.

                        Or populate Premium Merlin based on someone's level. If statements work well in programming last time I tried. The premium items remain the same and the fill items are dependent on level.

                        Like it's been said, it's a chance to win 'premium items'. Those items are gear, high level jewels, hammers and banners/talisman or event items. Troop chests for T1-5, 10k mercs, 10k t6, lvl 9/10 hammers, lvl 1 banners/talisman, lvl 9 jewels, tokens, gems should be the typical fill.

                        I'll never buy the idea that low level items should be in a two token Merlin.

                          Yes lack of charms is a big problem for new players on every world except 119 ( the world where most new players are) the reason it isn't a big problem on 119 is 119 has the old explore and it drops silver charms quite often . Plus no one here is complaining that charms are in madness it is fine to have them there we are complaining about the types of charms in madness all of the new gear pretty much takes 1 silver charm ( 20 k) to unlock the first ability 2 silver charms for the second 3 for the third and 7 to unlock the 4 th that is a min of 13 silver (260k) now copper charms give 1 k meaning you would need 260 of them to unlock just 1 piece of gear to the max and over 1000 to unlock a full set of gear at 2 tokens per use of madness that is well over 2000 tokens which is ridiculous and iron charms is much better since it only gives 3 k exp still pretty ridiculous now bronze charms are atleast in the realm of possibility at 10 k but still you need 26 to unlock 1 full set of gear to max that is still around 130 charms still 260 tokens and even though it is possible still a little ridiculous this is why we are asking for only silver and gold charms if you want to put them in madness and it is the same for medals we get there is players that still need them I know cause I still need them but it is kind of ridiculous that they are in every madness and in almost every wheel and still in campaign and the medals in madness can be for heroes that we don't have so they clog our inventory till we get them

                          All we are asking for is some Variety in the madness maybe a madness with tons of troops and then a madness with some troops and medals and then a madness with random junk people may need and this madness should be 1 token not 2

                            But the issue is that the long term players are quitting in droves to the same same old BS being offered.
                            You say to keep in mind other players, but what about us. We don't need or want the garbage that is being offered time and time again.
                            If this is your argument, then it seems as if the players who have been loyal are basically being ignored for these "new" players who may or may not even stay very long.
                            Have you ever heard of the bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush. It is a proverb for a reason.
                            By your logic it is OK to drive away existing customers in order to get a potential new customer.
                            This is the type of logic that is killing the game.
                            I could understand the occasional Merlin or comp for "new players", but this is all we have.

                              Just Listen To The People Who Got You Here

                              The deal with merlin is the lack of troops. We get the fact that people need hero items or charms but not everyone. Why not have a merlin class with-in merlin that lets the player decide what items they want. Or just mix madness up. Have a flash merlin for five hours that has nothing but troop chest then the next can have hero items, charms, and knight items. This is a war game and troops are required to reach the desired goal of killing. I may be the only one left who has faith that you guys will do the right thing and listen to the people who make the game go forward.

                              If you would give to the players the players will give right back. Simple as that.
