  • Prize Update Consolidation Thread

It used to be a flash events for 25 as first prize every one enjoyed these let's bring them back

And the best idea ever is ....

Learn the meaning of customer service and the difference between bad and good customer service

Surely gaea has noticed the lack of revenue this game promised to deliver

  • #2
    totally agree

I would like see them returned, comps rotated so no one knows what's coming or prizes are until you log In or are told what comp and prize is on.

Their alot things we need Gaea but if you can make 1 change every week or two it goes a long way. Making unpredictable comps with various prizes would help ease our frustration.

Also bring back madness grab bag was 10 or 20 gems but had chance win 1000 tokens which many would win from time to time

          Prize Update Consolidation Thread

There has been one priority that consistently gravitates to the top with Players. They are requesting updates to the prizes for competitions.

            It's time

Some of these prizes date back over a year, and this seems like it would be a very easy fix that impacts players of all styles. We would like to see these improved soon. Thank you.

The prizes we have now are so out of date! We are able to get lvl 15 hammers by gemming yet win lvl 12s at the most in comps. At least bump it up to a lvl 14 that way your not giving us the best thing out there but something close that's not that easy to get. Thanks

Agree with most posts in this thread, prizes so out of date, creates laziness and makes me not wanna compete.. Please put decent prizes so more ppl will be interested and compete to win these prizes!!

                  agree

Have to agree we have been asking for updated prizes n comps for awhile now, having same comps n prizes for over a year is very boring, can see it in our GC n AC lots are not even bothering with the game anymore ,alot of us log on do couple of things say hi in chat to friends then log off or just leave game on n go do real life stuff, or as ive been seeing lately lots of players have also started playing new games.do hope things change for the sake of the game, .

Prizes and comps are stagnant. The same prizes associated with the same comps over and over and over. Throw in some variety. A lv 9 jewel is also rubish, everyone has plenty of them they aren't a reward. I wish there was another type of comp too beyond boss, train, tap, kill but I don't really know what that would be. Also the legue distrubition is stupid. Everyone is a king unless you just started playing this month or you've never trained a troop in your life. VIP level division would make a lot more sense.

I agree. Why should we bother to play anymore when you can win a 255 knight level up or a level 9 jewel? Makes no sense. Also the iron and bronze hammers in explore are a joke. People are getting bored of the same old comps for the same old prizes. Would be nice if the new ownership could do an update and make the game "fun" again.

Many areas of the game need an update, but the daily competition prizes are truly the first and most important thing Gaea should do improve. I can see few big problems with them:

                        1) Prizes are out of date. The top prize for some of the comps is a lvl 12 hammer or a lvl 11 jewel. Meanwhile, lvl 15 hammers and lvl 13 jewels were introduced. There are always ways to buy those, but that can't hardly be called a game. A major revamp of all those has to happen.

                        2) Tiered prize system often makes any but the first spot irrelevant. Even if 1st prize had a value (say, lvl 13 jewel), just 1 level down usually makes the next prize worthless to those who are able to win it. Never mind if you are an average player and place around #50. It needs to be ensured that competitions are worth participating, and reasonable prizes run down the whole prize list.

                        3) Varying types of prizes should be available to all kinds of players. Currently they are all tied to a specific kind of competition. For example you only win a jewel in TK, hero medals in TOM, etc. Sets of prizes should rotate through types of comps, which could include BtB.

                        4) There should be more competitions. The current schedule is designed for the US East Coast, but we have players from all around the world. If you're not up in the core hours, there isn't much for you to do. This needs to change too. There should be always something going on, a 24h event, and at least 1 short one. Remember, that if there are 500-1000 active people on a server, a reward that is only given once a week needs to be very valuable, especially if a single player needs 10 or more of such items. Multitude of flash comps should help the average player place higher every now and then.

Please Give us a reason to keep playing

I have stopped competing in many events because I don't want to push that button and accept the 'prizes'. I don't need them in anyway.
I'm no longer seeing events for the items we use up either, like crystals, dust those kinds of things. I also think how prizes are distributed throughout the prize ranks is very poor.
Only the first 5 places have any merit at all. Not many players can ever reach those converted places, in tk events alt killers get the fist few places and in might events those that gem heavily get them.
If we do not strive of decent prizes for new, returning, non gemming and moderate gemming players the diversity will be lost. That will kill the game

Returning to alliance tournaments as being a way to distribute converted items is a great way to reintroduce some player parity back into the game. It's benefits all and reinforces the value of team.
