How exactly are opponents selected? My alliance has twice now been put against an alliance ranked in the top 100 when we are rank 7085, is it done by troops sent? my alliance has like 11 members most of which haven't even completed campaign chapter 5 for all the heroes yet, I competed today and was being rally attacked by 16 level 100+ heroes, now I have got the heroes all to 100+ myself but its not fair for my alliance members who don't to be put up against these players. Does anyone here know exactly how its done??

The points scored through tks in buffs should be lesser. People should actually need to attack the other side for points, not bang buffs for 2 hours and win. Huggers shouldn't win in a battle scenario, sorry. So often its a standoff now with one side refusing to hit the other, regardless of imp walls or anything else. Imp walls are easy if you actually bring mages, so many alliances go in, intentionally not hitting the other side and bang buffs. Its not that players make it hard to zero or play, its that tks are easier in buffs. Why hit the other side when ya get so many free tks by having players hit buffs? It does not make for dynamic gameplay, its lame as hell. Buffs are an issue, and should not count as they currently do for tks in grail wars. TK alliances should not lose because hugging alliances just hit buffs. It should be like regular game play, and tks from buffs either not counting, or counting far less.
Actually assassins are the counter to imps . mages have increased attack vs assassins that are more effective against mercenaries but even better then that conjurers but that a side why do you think they come with the intent to only hit wilds it is because the other player have stronger knights with a ton of imps and every hero possible . yes all of that can be counter if you have equal or better then the defender but not everyone has that so figure why bother I will just hit wilds ( wilds giving points isn't the problem because that is one of the points attacking , capturing and holding the problem is how many points you get from wilds vs attacking another player)

Never said I don't know how and if you get an active alli sure it fun but you don't always alot of you get an alli with 1 or 2 players that don't do anything and don't even score unless you hit them and sometimes they bring 100 k imps if you are lucky they forgot to assign a knight if not it takes a lot of troops and most of the 2 hours to kill them it gets tedious and boring when the other side isnt participating . yes you can teach your alli what to do till your 100 years old it doesn't help if the other side is inactive . if it is 30000 to 100 is something is a little off and it isn't fun. ( FYI the prizes are a very big problem for a lot of players why waste an effort when all you get is some troops , frags. Speeds and whatever convoluted trade scam kabam is running that week.
I know that a lot of top allis don't even bother deploying just for the fact the prizes are bad and beyond that a lot of players have problems with the times and with the actual scoring neither of those have to do with teaching your alli either gw is fun at times but it needs some fixes .

And, just like support, thanks kabam for continuing to ignore the issue of a handful of alliances losing all their points. 6 months of work and points gone. If it was regular gameplay and tks were deleted, it would be a big deal. But I guess since forum moderators care about as much as support does, I shouldn't be surprised.

Not quite sure I understand who the scoring works either. Wednesday we won by 24k and gained 1 point, today we played a team 29 ranks better and lost by 2k points which gave us -16 points.

But I agree with the posts, the prizes are a waste of time.

There is really a few problems with gw some kabam can change some not so much .

1 ) the prizes are basically crud and this is one of the biggest problems the prizes used to be quanry, gw speeds, and holy boosters ( which had speeds, doves, and various buffs ) even with these players weren't to willing to lose a ton of troops for. Now made worse the current prizes are frags, quanry, gw speeds and jesters/candy which are even lesser then before
    2) weaker allis don't want to bother attacking powerful players because it is pointless . I have seen players bring 50 k imp walls and bring every hero possible making it difficult to even make a dent even with a good knight . so why bother dealing with that when you can just as easy hit wilds and gain more points for less troop loss.
3 ) it has become quite annoying that you can't fully even kill an opponent till an hour in to gw so you either have to spend an hour whiddling down the enemy or you have to wait an hour to finish of in one shot this gets very tidious
4 ) there is still quite a few allis that send players but are inactive during gw and some even forget to assign knights making for quick wins leaving nothing but wilds to attack

    Grail Wars still sucking...

Not only has nothing still been done regarding the alliances like mine who had their rank and glory points reset wrongfully a couple months ago (despite lots of fun chats with support) but... Some tweaking needs to happen, please. It is very boring to play now that so many alliances refuse to hit the other players. Most just hit buff locations or wait to be hit. Players should not be rewarded so heavily for the equivalent of wild hitting. If the point was to get alliances actually playing eachother, you guys royally screwed it up. It used to be fun, but first off, its not fun to hit buff locations for two hours. Second, its not fun to play against the many, many, many alliances that just sit there and hit them for two hours. Its a battle. Please re work things so tks score higher than buff locations, even the attk points with the defense points and make it fun again, please.
