Forum Rules [Updated 12/21/2016]

MAIN RULES OF THE FORUMS

Please respect your community. Respect each other as you all enjoy the same thing ? The Game.

We encourage open and friendly discussion of the game and the Community. Moderators and Staff have final decisions on all matters, and are here to make sure that the Community remains a friendly, fun place appropriate for players of all backgrounds, ages and groups.

It is the forum member's responsibility to stay up to date on forum rules and to honor the behavior outlined.

PURPOSE OF THE FORUMS

These forums provide an area for constructive player discussions of the game. It also allows players to
help each other identify bugs and issues, and help each other reproduce and resolve them.

These forums are not the most direct way to contact support. If you?re having an issue with your game and you need direct assistance, please tap on the FAQ/Support tab within the game.

CHANGES OR IMPROVEMENT

Please make sure to stay updated on these rules by reviewing this page from time to time.

SET RULES

This is a private board. As such, decisions made are final.
We reserve the right to remove any message board content without notice for any reason.

Rule 1: Responses to rule violations
Violating these rules will result in warnings, either formal or informal, suspensions, banning, or other sanctions.

Rule 2: Respect other users on the forums
- Do not make attacks or insult other users, either in the forums or through private messages. Disagreements and debates are fine, but don?t make it personal.
- Do not attack groups. This includes professions, races, religions, sexual orientations, genders, incomes, or even vague groups like ?you people.?
- Do not use ill terms which are offensive to groups, do not ?flame?, ?troll.? or ?haze?.

Rule 3: Respect the forum purpose and structure
- Make your posts in the appropriate forum.
- Please use the Search function. If a relevant thread already exists, please post there instead of creating a new thread about the same topic. Duplicate threads will be closed to keep the forums orderly and easy to navigate.
- Keep off-topic posts in the off-topic forum.
- Don?t start discussions about games that are not ours.
- Do not cross-link to other message boards or websites unless approved by a moderator.

Rule 4: Respect the law
- Do not post anything illegal under U.S. law, or encourage other users to break the laws of the U.S. or their country of residence.
- Do not encourage users to break terms of service. This includes giving information about how to find scripts, exploits, or cheats, as well as arranging to buy or sell accounts or virtual goods.

Rule 5: Respect the audience
Think about who you're talking to. Users may be as young as 13 on these message boards, and may be male or female, and from countries across the globe.
- Keep your language civil. Profanity is frowned on.
- Do not post Adult Material, inappropriate graphic sexual content in any format, or links to sexually explicit sites.
- Do not post graphic images or explicit descriptions of violent acts.
- Do not use an avatar or signature that could offend other users. They have to look at it a lot.

Rule 6: Respect privacy
- Do not post any private emails or private messages unless you have the explicit permission of each person involved in the exchange.
- Do not post private communication between customer support, members, moderators, or administrators on these forums, or anywhere else. (This include support ticket responses)
- Do not post any information covered by a non-disclosure agreement or beta testing agreement. Even if you somehow have inside information about our competitors, for legal reasons we don?t want to hear it.
- Do not post Facebook information about other forum users.
- Do not post any private information about other users.
- Do not post in-game information in an attempt to have other players attack your target. Be careful to not cross the line into bullying.

Rule 7: Do not spam
- Do not post repeatedly about the same topic.
- Do not spam users on the forums or through private messages.
- Do not start a thread without actual purpose.
- Do not start a thread about a news story or article unless you make it clear what the story is about, and offer your own opinion to start a discussion.

Rule 8: Respect your account
- Do not share your account information with other individuals. You will be held responsible for any rules violations that occur under your account.
- Do not create new accounts or use other tricks to avoid suspensions or bans.
- Do not create ?sock puppet? accounts ? multiple accounts created just so that you can agree with yourself and make it seem like your ideas have more support than they do.
- Never include your e-mail address or any other personal information in posts.

Rule 9: Respect the Moderators
- Do not post using the color red. This color is reserved for moderators.
- Do not impersonate moderators. Do not claim to speak for the moderators.

Rule 10: Respect the decisions of the moderators
- The moderation teams reserves the right to warn, suspend, or permanently ban users judged to be acting against the spirit of the rules, even if the user is following the letter of the rules.
- Do not argue with moderators about moderator decisions. You can disagree with a moderator?s opinions, just like any other poster, but when they post moderator actions in red text, it is considered final.
- Moderators have no access to your game account. If you have an issue you must contact customer service.

Generally, BE NICE. There is nothing wrong with being nice to each other.

    Only 48 lanterns today. No second forks. I have 213 total lanterns and only 21 first forks and zero second forks. Seems the odds are stacked against us. But I do now have 931 fifth city crests. Another kabam decent idea that just isn't worth it. And no chances as yet that I have seen to win any of the other wards to redeem in round tower. Again. Why are those other prizes there if the other wards are not available?

        I just hit 30 Lev 10 picts and got 1 chest....I think Kabam have decided to close the Tourney...Way to go game team

        Introduce a tourney....then more than the half the drop rate....then tell folks you've doubled the halved drop rate..... then more than halve the doubled drop rate to back below the lowest drop rate......Hoo is it wot is finkin dis stuff up....cos dem is needin elp.

          I find it funny that people think kabam will answer any problems your having via a ticket or othwrwise... The dont care for there consumers because there are those who play that dont care if kabam does anything and just blindly spend there money... Btw what is happening to our game happened to the original koc. Garbage that kills games is what kabam should change there names to.

            Ok. I'm officially done with this comp. I hit 25 Picts and got just one lantern. So I said I'll hit 25 more to see what happens. I got a total of one with the next 25. This is way to much work for 8 lanterns that will give me 8 speed ups and gold medals. This is another decent kabam idea for a comp that gets ruined because of a money grab. I got 61 lanterns on Saturday which I thought would be an accepble number for any one. And now tonight I'm on par to get 8. Just two days later? Put aside the fact that I had a total of 231 lanterns with no second turns. But getting 8 tonight will not even get me a first turn. Obviously the pict drop rates are based on how much money kabam is making from people buying lanterns. There must be a lot of people buying lanterns which makes kabam turn the drop rate into next to nothing. I guess this just makes us all crazy because no matter the comp we are here on the forums saying the same things every time about how kabam turned a decent comp into a total failure. Just my thought. Y'all have a good evening.

                First hit any pic camp guys lV doesn't matter infact lv 10s hardly every give them out considering that the 5th city crest lower drop rates so aim lower like 3-9 or so... Also Kabam were are te beat the boss and comps for te Magic half I have all the time for Mast?r just no magic except for that one Grail u did!!!!!

                  In your opening message in this thread you said wards would be available in Picts, grail wars, boss events, and more. There are plenty of wards of time in picts, thank you. Unfortunately we have only had the 2 grail wars for wards of magic. The comp is more than half over. I assume you are really going to pile on the boss and more events since none have been run so far. I'm sure you don't want to be accused of false advertising... Again.

                    Novice gives an imp train *15 or *5. No word on the odds. Doubt its even 1:1 but here's hoping.

                    Dana, "lord" lohki, and the other [edited] will keep hiding until we all quit. We are like unwanted tenants at this point. Just keep making it more miserable so we all quit.                       As you are all already aware of, the daily boss events are currently not functioning as intended that is why we wanted to avoid any disappointment and frustration by adding these there.
                      As far as the Wardbreaker: Time and Magic are concerned, you still have a chance to win them before tomorrow morning in the Madness and Wheel Game that are currently running.

                        What is more troubling to me is that the problems with the daily bosses should have been known to you when you were working on this event, but you went ahead with it as if there was no problem.

                        If I am to believe that the Ward of Magic was supposed to be attainable without a monetary transaction, then I would suggest that you commit to a more careful review of the events you release in the future.

                            463 "light into darkness" chests netted me 7 wards of magic!!!! 13 short of the entry level chest.. Another badly conceived and poorly implemented tourney.....Perhaps you might like to offer a trade in for the 463 wards of time I have sat in my inventory?

                              Epic Fail....

                              We all need to file a complaint with Itunes and Google Play....it is called a "Take down" form which will remove kabam from being able to sell gems on either of thise sites due to their poor customer service and crappy products......don't come here and complain and then do nothing. You wonder why this keeps happening.....everyone just comes here to cry and then does nothing. Take some REAL action. Hit kabam in their wallets....and then when they can't sell gems maybe just maybe they will make some improvements.

                                Review your first post in this thread. Clearly states wards will be available in Pict camps, grail wars, boss events, and more.

                                The event has concluded and there were no boss events for wards, much less the "more" we were promised.

                                Wards of time were plentiful in picts and the double drop weekend was a nice touch. I played the 2 grail wars that offered wards of magic and watched for other events. If I had scored over 60k in both wars I would only have been able to get the second level chest with the 50 wards of magic. Guess we didnt need all the higher level trade ins for wards as they were unattainable.

                                Only got 32 ward of magic so got a bottom level chest which had a *5. Smh

                                So was this false advertising, bait and switch, or we chalking this one up to incompetence as well?
