  • New way of divisional comps

Can we have divisional comps which instead are based on level, be based on VIP level, this separates the gemmers from non gemmers and makes everyone happy. And of course make the higher division, better prize/more

That would indeed be a nice idea for non gemmers to increase their strenght.

That been said, if you gemmed in the past.. that doesn't have to mean you gemmed in the last couple of months.

I don't think higher divisions should get better prizes. One of the major problems with the game is the huge imbalance between gemmers and non-gemmers. Those of us who gem, or who have gemmed in the past, already have inventories with lots of gear, hammers, banners, etc. etc. Those who don't gem struggle to get the hammers they need to get the gear they have maxed, much less to get the current best gear. The whole point of divisionals is to give the smaller players a chance at decent prizes for once.

That said, I do think they need to restructure the divisions. I'm fine with doing it by VIP levels. If they aren't willing to make that change, at least adjust the divisions. The top division has levels 101-200 whereas there are 3 divisions for levels 1-100. Competition is fiercest at the top anyway, and the lowest division is usually won by accounts that are clearly alts/old banks. Kabam stated once that they are not set up for more than 4 divisions, so perhaps make it lvls 1-50; 51-100; 101-150 and 151+.

hmhm. i don't know what to say about this thread...i thought about it again and re-considered my first opinion here above.

        Regarding players level:

I know enough players between lvl 50-100 that have way better gears and way more might than players from lvl 100-200...

So a players level doesn't say a single thing at all.. only that he has re-build many of his buildings and/or trained a lot of troops. It's doesn't say a thing about his gear, his might and his inventory.

All you need are 2 cities.. 1 troop city, and 1 train city. if you build them correct from the start. you will even be below lvl50. and if you play campaign a lot for troops, or all events besides train a thon, you will stay below lvl 50, but your knights and available might will increase drasticly.

        Regarding vip level:
If you have logged in daily from the moment the vip-system was introduced, you should have reached vip level 4-5 by now, without gemming. And if you have gemmed only a few times right after that vip-system was introcuded, you will have vip levle 7-8-9. if you haven't gemmed after that, i would call that a ''occasional-gemmer''. Such players wouldn't stand a chance being line-up in the same bracket as real gemmers who gem weekly/monthly.

you also have players, with a low vip level or a low players level, who only have gemmed onces or twice during glitches/bugs. Those people would own the lower tier brackets completely, because many of them have a bigger inventory/better gears then some of the big gemmers, who gemmed at the wrong moments.

therefore.. i'm against events based on vip levels or player levels.

        regards bierkes

Just for thought, I am an ex-light gemmer who last gemmed before the VIP system was put in place. I am at whatever level gives you the 20% campaign stuff, and have a verrrrryyyyy lonnnnnggggg timmmmmeeeee before I will move to the next level (I think around a year, but it could be more).

I am also falling into the "Dukes" division, because some things of value are put into training events, and so my level goes up the more I train.

Now, I know for an absolute fact that I have some significant gemmers in the Dukes division with me.

So, with the talk of changing division brackets, this makes me ask, "What's in this for me?"

As best as I can tell, nothing. All the talk is about the levels above and below me.

Not that I was expecting anything... Just a reminder of how messed up a system this is, and how a few are seeing opportunities for advancement, especially those in the lower range of "Kings".

The fact that hardcore gemming and troop box popping at level 85 does not increase the player level means that no matter what changes one makes to the brackets, so long as I am in a bracket with a mega-gemmer on gemroids, there is essentially no change for me.

Perhaps instead of looking at VIP level, gemming should have some sort of impact on your player level instead of the person being able to hang out in the lower levels indefinitely.

Or Kabam could change it so that you can choose which division you want to go in lol. For example the gemmers can pick the higher tiers and will be put up with other gemmers and the non gemmers can pick the lower tiers and would have a chance at winning something good for them I am not familiar with this division system lol we don't have it in 125

                Base it on might?

Would it make sense to base the divisions on might? It definitely has a leveling effect with kill comps.

No, because you will encourage big gemmers to dump might so as to be in the lower divisions. Dumping might can quickly be done in campaign, so it need not be dumped via a TK event.

It really wouldn't separate gemmers and none gemmers it is really the same thing . I am VIP 8 and haven't gemmed in a year, your VIP exp goes up with every login as well as buying gems must new players if logged on each day should make VIP 2 before the end of 7 day bubble . Gemming is really just a way to get to the top faster it doesn't mean every gemmers reigns supreme . if you really want a fair comp we to get away from just might gains and tk tourneys . there used to be a wide variety of comps , attack the wilds, knight lv gains , beat the boss , build a thons we could even have campaign high scores but yet we have none of these.
