KoC: Battle for the North - New Releases Dos and Donts
When a new Version of Kingdoms of Camelot: Battle for the North is available in the App Store. What should I know before or after updating?
We strive to make Updates and New Releases go as smoothly as possible. However, apps like KoC: Battle for the North are designed and perform in an incredibly dynamic environment and unforeseen issues inevitably occur. We wanted to make sure you know what to do and what not to do during a Release period:
New Version/Update in the App Store?
DO make sure your app is completely up-to-date. Get excited about the new features and improvements each Release introduces and update the app early and often.
DO NOT Delete and Reinstall the app (same as logging out of the app) without previously linking your Player Account to kabam.com.

Receiving Error messages (Fatal Errors, Network Connection Errors) that prohibit you from accessing the game?
DO try again, check and reset your 3G/Wireless connection, Force Restart the app by tapping on your Player Name, then the "?" icon, then "Force App Refresh."
DO NOT Delete and Reinstall the app. Deleting and Reinstalling the app will not remedy these issues.

Still have not linked your KoC: Battle for the North account to kabam.com (for a free 75 Gems)?
DO so as fast as you can!
DO NOT wait! Instructions above and below and RIGHT HERE!
Here are a few potential scenarios if Players do not link their progress to kabam.com:
ISSUE #1: Player loses/breaks/upgrades device
RESULT: Player is unable to continue progress on a new device. This is why it is super important to link your account!!!
ISSUE #2: Player inputs Email Address wrong when signing up for a kabam.com account
RESULT: Player does not receive KoC: Battle for the North e-mail s concerning Events, Promotions and Sales. Player can not access Password Reset Request emails to change passwords. Make sure you enter your Email Address carefully (and correctly) when creating an account on kabam.com!
ISSUE #3: Player Email Address inputted wrong and Player forgets Password
RESULT: Player can neither log in to the app nor recover their password via Password Reset. Please contact Support for help!
ISSUE #4: Player is playing on Guest Account. A Friend logs in to the app with their own account info
RESULT: Player's Guest account is "stolen" and a new Guest Account is created. Player cannot recover original progress
- Don't let your Friend/Parent/Genius Baby Brother/Neighborhood Dog sign in to your app without linking it to kabam.com! -

DO Rejoice and Sleep easy. Your account is safe.
DO NOT worry. Be happy!
Players are prompted to sign-up for a kabam.com account when they first start playing the game. If you missed this pop-up we've included instructions below:
Open your KoC: Battle for the North App Tap your Player Name in the top left hand corner
Tap the gear (or "cog") icon
Tap Kabam ID. From here you will be able create your account or log in to one you have already created.
