Just when I thought I would not get ticked at Kabam for their tricks any more, they come up with one that I really struggle to find a reason that makes sense. When doing Strengthen equipment, the Silver EXP Charm always looked like a sword but it had a green background which a regular yeoman sword does not. Well that is now gone. So is the warning that this is powerful gear. And to add insult to injury, that same irritating warning is still there for yeoman's helmet which only adds 50 experience. How can I look at this change as anything other than Kabam trying to mess with us? I have added several of these powerful EXP charms today before realizing where the sudden boost in experience came from. I wasn't really paying attention to the much harder to read text that says how much is being added. Again this is about visual clues. Kabam keeps changing the visual clues and not for the better.
Several players have asked for the warning to be removed from the helmets and Kabam didn't do that, but they did remove the warning on something that really is significantly more powerful.
Lest someone from Kabam say, oh we will restore your charms, I say that's not the point. I don't care about the stupid charms because I have boxes upon boxes of them. What really ticks me off is the stupid change to visual clues, especially without warning. (Since you can't destroy gear, I eliminate it by using it to upgrade other items. Sometimes I upgrade a squire's item with low level equipment and then save the high experience items for last so most of the experience is wasted when the upgrade is maxed out. Having one of the now unremarkable charms give me 20,000 exp instead of 50 messes this strategy up. Now that I'm watching for it I won't do it again, but it was real annoying.)
It would be nice if there were a more direct way to destroy excess equipment.
