  • Gold missing.

Ok, for the second time in a few days, my gold went to 0 and knights resigned of course, yet my production was at 9k per hour, salary was 5k per hour. I had over 600k in gold in one city. I wasn't attacked as no report or loss in troops or walls, or anything else. Same in my other city. Lost gold even though it's a positive gain, it went to zero. Seems like the gold is being lost for o reason at all. Now I have no gold, yet a positive gain production of 9k and 7k in the cities, yet the amount I end up with is 0 every hour...

Refreshed the app, checked everything, and my gold is being lost. I Want it replaced by a gem credit to purchase 700k and 550k respectively I I will have to inform my credit card company that my purchases in this app are fraudulent and report this game from apple as fraud as I am sick of these issues happening.

Asking for the gold to be given back to you is reasonable enough. Stating that your purchases in this app are fraudulent to your credit card company is fraud in itself. If you had purchased the gold with gems and the gold later disappeared then fair enough. However you haven't indicated that so I assume it isn't the case. For the purchases in this app to fraudulent then the following criteria should be met:

      1) You did not receive the gems you purchased
      2) You did not receive the items you bought with those gems
      3) The items did not work as advertised
      4) The items later disappeared

I'm not defending Kabam. I agree there are too many bugs and they need to be fixed. Just stating that claiming fraudulent activity needs to be backed up with a justifiable reason.

True it isn't hard to go out and farm the gold you need. It is still a bug though and needs to be tracked down and fixed. I've been trying to replicate the bug so I can forward a fix to Kabam but so far no luck.

Yes, I stated that above as I'm angry over the situation on losing gold when there is no reason. Try this. Have two cities. Have one with 0 food production, but house troops in it. Then assign a high level knight to Stewart and for troop defense Marshall. Watch your gold production to make sure it's at a positive rate of course. I did. Then wait awhile, and after a day or so depending on your gold reserves you will still end up to 0...even if it was a positive gain, no attack, etc. weird. Then it happens as well to the main city where you feed the masses as well and produce troops. Food is used ok, but gold is fine, but afterthought the other city loses gold, it starts declining in the first I found as well for no reason. It's like when no food in second city after awhile troops must be looting the reserves to pay for food.....

        Makes me pissed off.

Yup, same with me. Losing gold even though I'm producing it twice as fast as I'm spending it. Both cities end up down to zero after no attack has been made. However, what I noticed is that once my gold is at zero, it's when my high level knight leaves the post as Marshall, and weird as its then time a certain individual attacks and wipes out my wall defenses....gets no resources, or gold, but seems its an opportune time to attack... That has happened twice I noticed. Cannot confirm exact times, but it's always around when my gold is depleted. And I don't deplete it... Making me wonder if there is a glitch or someone is hacking...

            Same issue

I'm having the same issue. It seems to reset each morning after I login. The gold starts accumulating again. Lost a significant amount three days ago.

              Here's a possibility:

Remember that when you train troops, idle population will be used for those troops. This means population that would otherwise be producing Gold will be producing troops.

When this happens, your Gold income WILL decrease. If you use all your available population in one training session, then chances are your Gold income will be insufficient to pay your Knights' salaries. This will cause your Gold to decline until you have none, which causes your Knight to unassign from their posts. Since population will restore over time, your income will eventually become positive again which explains why some of you log in in the morning to find you have Gold at a positive rate.

Could it be that many of you queue up troops as a final action before going to bed? If so, then this might explain your Gold situation.

              Thanks for playing!

                RE: Gold Missing

It is more than just income dropping it is owned gold dropping overnight as well. For instance my production is ~6k/hr with a salary cost of ~1.5k/hr. The last several days I would wake up in the morning with a hundred or so gold, but the gold would immediately start accumulating. The previous night I would have had several hundred thousand in gold.

Although it happened 3 days in a row, it didn't seem to occur last night (7/18).

I have ~40k in idle population so that shouldn't be a factor.

It happened to me too today. I lost about 150k but there were no attack reports.

Yep - happened to me again today. Lost about $1.2 million since last night. I haven't had the problem for quite some time (since my last post . . . ), and now again it is happening. So I've lost a total of $2-3 million - what is being done to remedy this?
If I was to purchase Gems how would I know this wouldn't happen to the gems?

This is close to the same issue I have been having, except I haven't been losing gold, I just haven't been accumulating any. I am spending less than half of my hourly rate on knights salaries, and I had not trained any troops for a while because I was told that it was probably because I didn't have any idle population because they were used up on troops, which was not true, I have almost 15k idle pop in one city and am still accumulating nooooooo gold in either city.

                          gold missing

Has aood fnyone noticed also that sometimes your resources just do not increase. Not talking about gold or food necessarily although it has happened there too. But wood stone and ore just do not increase until you log on again. Production on any might be 70k per hour but it just does not happen..

Ricardo Kabam how about a real answer instead of the party line?

Ricardo, thanks for the standard, useless, party line answer. I've seen this same answer posted in multiple places.

I am having the same issue and I agree that yes when my gold first started disappearing I was placing large quantities of troops in training. But my gold production would also drop into the negative when I did so.

My solution to this was to place smaller groups of troops in the queue. My gold production never drops into the negative anymore but my gold balance in my second city still disappears.

What is even stranger is that I train in both of my cities and both cities are configured nearly identically. I train in both cities identically. My gold balance increases and grows in city one but decreases in city two.

Your stock answer doesn't work for me, if my gold was disappearing from both cities then it would be plausible but since it grows in one and disappears from that other I call you on your answer.

                              Same issue

I'm having the exact same problem: I had plenty of gold (over 1m) and a positive gold production even with full training queues.
Lost all my gold for no reason (no attack or anything) and knights resigned (which gave me a negative food production and lost a lot of food!).
This has happened 3 times in the past few days.
Please fix the game as last update made it full of errors!
