  • Unmarshalled : bug or hack ?

    Hello all,

One more time on Pellinore, we had two victims of the unmarshalled troops. Once again, the attackers were from the same alliance. Always the same. Is it the same situation your worlds ? It's only by sharing information and facts that we will have a beginning of answer. Not sure it's a bug. Not sure at all. In Pellinore, the attacker alliance pretends it's because they are "hunting a lot" But what a luck ! Their strongest opponents are also the main victims. Very oftenly, when some have badwords on the global, they magically are victims of an unmarshallled troops in less than 24 hours...

Too much body of evidence in the same direction make me think there is an unseen hole used by some. I will not accuse them (again) to cheat, but they are known to be using a lot of tricks, have been banished for sometime...

May be we can start here to gather information, world by world to determine what we are victim of.

By my side, I use a relayed wifi connexion protected by a firewall, so if it happens to me, I will have the frames to prove it. Waiting for your participation.

Maybe people are getting their account hacked. The "Glitch" only happens when people are offline. And as we all know, you can't have 2 people logged into the same account at the same time.

Maybe it's a series of events that trigger the opening of someone.

I've also heard that a player gets attacked from someone who has never been in their reports before from the otherside of the map. Coincidence? Maybe.

I honestly believe it's a hack on players accounts.

Don't panic guys... The game team has tested and everything is working properly.

On a serious note though I have also heard of this happening with people online too, they will e closed for one attack then suddenly they are open and unmarshed so I'm not entirely sure it's only when people are offline. I personally think it's just a glitch by kabam and they can't pin point it so they just avoid it. It's on pretty much every server and if that many people knew how to do it it would have come out by now an it would happen far more frequently, like the original poster said anytime people argued with someone they would do it to them. I think it's just a glitch so I wouldn't hold your breath on it stopping anytime soon

I've heard several theories on how to do it but never tried them as I assumed it was all lies anyhow. The ones who come across the map randomly are definately odd and would make u think they certainly have something to do with it

          Hello,

I also heard people unmarshalled while online. But it's not a proof of bug, or a proof of a hack. What is worrying me is the fact it's always the same team who find the unmarshalled cities. And in the case I "saw" of online unmarshalled city, the victim just end arguing on the global chat with one of this alliance member. What are the odd for that ?

The fact it happens on every server is not a proof too. If I was able do do that, I will use it sparingly in order to not been detected. But even like that, and that's why I ask for testimonies, since the beginning, is there common facts ?

Please post your world name's and attacking alliance. The more testimonies we will have, the more information we gather, the situation will be clearer.

I have to disagree on the hack theory.
We are the no.1 killers on our world for a reason, because we hit all our enemies!!
Sometimes we get lucky and find one unmarshalled. We do not cheat, just spend countless hours hunting.

As for the bug theory, that remains a mystery.
If is true which I believe is maybe 10% of cases. If that. I don't know.
I got caught out once where i was sure closed then went offline.
Thats why now i check, refresh app and double check, at least once.

Im sick of noobs opening, closing, blaming lag or whatever for their excuses.

              Hello,

I understand your point of view. I will not condemn active alliances. But a lot of information make the trouble very difficult to be cleared :

              - in a lot of world, very oftenly the same alliance attacking unmarshalled cities,
              - the unmarshalled cities online oftenly after an global chat arguing (and from the same teams mentioned before),
              - too many cases of victims known as oppponent of the mentionned alliances,
              - these alliances never victims of that "bug/hack" or for tests, as seen before,
              - happens on Wifi or Cell net,
              - mainly happens when the player is offline and start with heavy attacks, not "loot" attack. When a team is known to be hard looters, they always send a small attack before, not in the case of an unmarshalled destruction

Like you, I also double check my armies status before leaving the game.

Like I posted before, if I was in the secret, I will not use it every time, every where. And I will not share it with others. We have seen before holes in ther game allowing multiple trainings, auto-allowing chests, unkillable troops... So why not ?

I just ask other player to give information about this kind of attacks. If in each world where it happens it's always the same team attacking, may be we can begin to think it's an hack.

There is no one hacking the game. If you want to add something about what you think is happening with this respond to the sticky thread about this. I'm going to be closing all threads and directing them there about this.
