No one said that we would not post the outcome here, you asked why the user was private messaged, we said because they requested that we do. You then said:

Hi all, Gaz, i am requesting private contact with a Kabam employee because certain details of this problem can not be discussed in public as i was specifically requested to not disclose that information. All i can say is that this problem includes events which have happened over the last 6 months and the solutions to those events. It is those solutions which i was asked not to disclose.

I understand you want to see the solution to this so it can help others, but until a solution actually exists it will have to be dealt in a way that Kabam wants to and since it involves some events in the past of which i was requested to keep to myself....i have to carry that forward. Remember I want something so I will cooperate.

In fact I actually want to help develop a solution to this problem, get some ideas flying back and forth between Kabam the forums is the best idea but until the situation has been fully explained to Kabam nothing can be published just yet.

Considering the support have not replied to me, I need someone to look into this. Also frankly by asking for a Kabam employee to look into this it will raise awareness and hopefully will be raised with the tech department to create a solution.

When the time is right and if permission is given I will state the solution here and I am confident that Kabam will do so too.

Until then all I can do is ask for help. The forums are checked by several Kabam employees often and so it was my best opportunity at contacting them quickly. Remember a solution is usually applied to one person or a small handfull before massed out to everyone.

There is nothing to cry about, this situation is a huge shame but it is just a game and there are always ways to solve problems. Its just a matter of time. However this situation is rather unique, this has happened to me twice times before and i never came to the forums. Now the third time this needs to be made more aware and this time all information gather from past is to be compiled here. Its too large to send a support ticket and so needs alternative communication methods; this forum.

I am aware of this happening to 5 other players in my M13 world, and it has recently happened to me. I submitted a case, and was shot down assuring me that the game mechanics are working fine and they don't dare upset the balance of the game. Almost exact same response I'd gotten to my multiple cases where I'd lost full march troops when attacking wilds. I've only lost about 40 million might to vanishing marches, but the open glitch cost me around 60m. At least I had a marshal, but that was useless against the furies, and the imperials that I bought were shredded.

There's no way I accidentally opened. I've been barely playing the past couple months and have gone totally hugger. I never open, am not participating in the flurry of troop kill contests. My city has been a ghost town until the glitch/open.

I've seen multiple websites purporting to offer hack tools that create free gems, etc. and a couple also claim to be able to force open an opponent's city. I don't think this is a kabam glitch so much as a few players who have managed to exploit crappy system security. After all, look at how long weezeewig has been around and how successfully they've built up a customer base, basically just selling Kabam's game data.

No I was refering to the glitch that when you went into the round tower all items went into misc tab. They fixed that fast but none of the ones we have been complaining about for the last 6 months. Like cities opening unmarshalled. I started a thread about the glitches but was a lost cause.

                  Hello,

It happened a lot on Pellinore14, even if I was not victim of that. The strange thing is that it is ALWAYS the same alliance attacking them. ALWAYS. Kabam support has been warned.

As far as I know, contacting Kabam support with reports numbers, date/time and screen copies may help them to resolve the trouble. One : you help us to find why it happened, two : they can help you to find back your lost troops.

Cyberlolo...i wouldn't be surprised if it was Kabam support who purposefully open up people's cities and then go in game and zero them. For me it is always the same person who attacks me. And that person who attacked me HAS NOT ATTACKED ME IN 6 MONTHS since the last event occurred....this is one massive coincidence do not you think? Also the location i was in...i had not attacked a single person since i moved there so i am not on their wall posts or anything. (Now i know there are tools which give people city and wild locations, so that would nullify that fact but in case they did not use it - pretty dam obvious to me - Rouge Kabam employees.

Also they do state in their support tickets - 'As a player myself I too find it frustrating.....'

I have experienced the same!! I have send many emails about This bug. I have sent report numbers and proved that i had gold in my city. The game opened my city itself and got me also zeroed in less than nine attacks! My loss?? 947.000.000 might!! And what does kabam SAY? After 5 emails between us have been sent and they could refund 10 million might. Do you know how i felt? There has been 1% of my lost might been restored, kabam says they cannot restore the full 100%. I feel like an ***, i should be happy with 1%??? I aint retarded, This is a lot of might and has cost me a couple of thousand gems.. To keep the fairness in the game and not inbalance the server they cant refund any more. Well, do you guys remember the bug chest might and gem? I certainly do! What did kabam do? Not much, so they try to keep the fairness in the game by victimising fair players? This is outrageous kabam!!!!!
Please look into This running item, contact me because This cant be really your policy?
I am playing n galahad62 under the alias dikkedoei. Ask yourself if you would accept 1% refund? When i buy a washing machine and that machine destroys itself with the laundrey in it, would you accept a refund of one sock? That is the same as my 1%...

Happened to me last night and 2 others in my alliance.

Surprisingly it was the same people from the same alliance that just so happened to stubble along into an open offline city... They must be so lucky, I mean their alliance is really good... Lost like no might and won the tk tourney by over a billion!

Their alliance is it the top one in the world? the alliance that hit me is also the best in the world. This has to be addressed.

This happened to me a few days ago. I was open for a tk tourney my knight assigned but it was as though I was unmarshalled. 113mil might slaughtered by x4 147k waves of catapults. I have mailed support and had no reply whatsoever. Last time I mailed support I never had a reply. The time before no reply and the case closed. Im seriously thinking they have blocked me from mailing. Support? What a joke.

Well I at least got a reply from Kabam. They assured me the game mechanics are working perfectly and that if they were to restore my troops it would be unfair to the attackers since they also lost troops, and might also disrupt the delicate balance of the game. I did get a few Merlin tokens, though, which I can probably blow on troop chests and recoup 2-3% of the might I lost.

Thanks goodness this isn't really happening and none of us are losing troops to anything other than our own carelessness and stupidity. It's very reassuring to know the game is secure and bug free, that no one can hack them to harvest coord information and resell it, or manipulate gem balances and offer through discounted third-party sites or anything like that. And I'm especially grateful that the delicate balance of the game is being protected so that the disparity between players who spend gobs of money can't get too much of an edge over players who simply work hard and/or are smart players. Now that this issue is closed, I can get back to focusing on training a bunch of guardians to better defend the next time I forget to check my open status. Now where is that guardian train button...?
