Win 100k gems is in a box on one of my servers...I know the percentage of winning that is minute, however it is a prize. They could cap the gems if they wanted. They did however take people's purchased and won gems from different servers that didn't have the "oversight". That's theft. How are you expected to play a game where the developer is stealing from the players because of the developers mistake.

You want to make it fair, you can't, you can't compete with massive gemmers, u can't compete with people winning 100k gems. You can merge servers and start there. You can raise prices on stuff do that people spend those gems. However by raiding prices u alienate the little people that didn't take advantage of the "oversight".

It's a lose lose but Kabam has further eroded this game, and basically it's aster of time before its gone all together.

Lastly world gems would've been a better idea, but it didn't go that way. U needs to give people back the gems in their account.

One fair solution would be to reset all accounts in all worlds to what they were before the leprechaun fiasco and to reapply any gems purchased back to the players effected and compensate everyone for their lost time hunting all weekend for these leprechauns. But that solution rewards people that did not even log in. Kabam's solution seems to be the best compromise. It sounds like some players still retain a large amount of their exploited gems while others lost purchased gems. This is a problem that kabam will need to address with their solution.

Neither defending Kabam for what they have done nor defending the players who gained the massive gems. Kabam is wrong to have taken the gems that was purchased and stored. Kabam has no right to take away something that was bought by their customers. That being said, Kabam really can't allow players to have 120k gems. Be it legally gained or illegally gained, such huge amounts of gems to so many players would severely unbalance every single world that those players are in. Majority of players who was not so lucky in receiving the information early would lose interest in playing and competing anymore. Don't misunderstand me, I'm not against the players gaining this legally nor am I against Kabam trying to fix it. But as ' ncskibo ' said, roll back to pre Leprechaun event and compensate everyone for their time spent this weekend as well as restarting the event would be the "fairest"...if ever such a word could be used here.

This was not a glitch nocturnal, it was a kabam oversight. And you must be employed by them. Also it wasn't just these gems kabam STOLE it was also hundreds of dollars in purchased gems that they took. Every decision they make is based on screwing the player to make them the most money. There will be a class action lawsuit over this!

There is in the works of many many class actions in the works for this. If spent gems that you bought in game and won these gems. Legal wise can not be taken from the player.

Destroy the game? How long have u been playing. This is one issue in the endless screws up of greedy company. This didn't help but this did add to the decline of the game.

What about the 10 troop chest in a server that was giving 1000 gems 1 out of 10 purchases over a month ago. Did they take all those gems too? Answer is nope. Those players on that server had over 100k gems. This game is stale and they can fix it yet choose not to. They just like trying to squeeze every last penny out of people. When the player gets an advantage because of a over sight Kabam over reacts and crashes everything with out so much as a response.

They could do something like give those players a certain amount of gems. Like a "we screwed up " but since u took advantage we will give u .....

It's not going to be fair to everyone. Such is life, but fir those that exploited the oversight it also needs to be fair for them l

Yes the 10 troops chests were never taken care of and I know many many players still using them in different worlds. I have been playing since late 2012 and yes Kabam has messed up before, but nothing like this. Kabam You Can Not Take Away these gems. It is not legal. You messed up, should of said five leps equal 1 chest. but it said 1,000 pot of gold chests. so we traded them per. your contest.

Do you honestly think that its fair that those who abused a glitch can have millions of gems for free while the rest quit after spending thousands? Get real, if kabam didnt fix this problem the game would have died within a week.. How about you guys earn your gems the way kabam intended and stop crying when they fix their mistakes.. None of you are entitled to anything, your account is the property of kabam and they can do whatever they wish.. And in this case they saved the game from complete failure.. You should be thankful.

If they allowed you to keep the gems those that received them would be the only players left on all servers within a month. They game would be ruined and the game would die. You would have infinite troops, all the best fully forged gear and smash all the comps. Who in there right mind would want to play on that sort of world when you don't stand a chance of competing. The only possible way to keep it fair would be to make them world gems so you can all compete against each other. In no way should those gems be allowed to leave that world and infect other worlds and therefore kill them. I for once applaud Kabam for what they have done. That said, I'm sure I would feel very aggrieved and annoyed had it happened to me, but ultimately I would know it is he right decision to remove the gems for the good of the game. The game is dying as it is, if those gems get into other worlds KOC is dead. Well done Kabam, your trying to put it right. Please compensate the players having the gems removed with something beneficial as a good will gesture.
well, please explain to me what a "GLITCH" is? well, i will DEFINE it for you, "A sudden, usually temporary malfunction or irregularity of equipment". now, with that being said, again, how was it a glitch? it was an OVERSIGHT by KABAM, obviously not the PLAYERS. and on top of that.....taking gems that were bought, earned before or during is fair? lol so, maybe all world should also have the same chests, items, cities, tournaments, EVERYTHING across the board. that would help THEM from OVERSIGHTS like this.

                            The Term Glitch

Everyone is throwing around the term glitch when describing the 1000 bucket of gold chests won by acquiring leps. Let us be clear as to what the term glitch means: a defect or malfunction in a machine or plan. This promotion was not a malfunction, it was a mistake. A mistake made by Kabam. Players did not exploit anything nor did they manipulate the gaming code to acquire in game currency. It was a promotion where the prize was offered to those who completed the instructions set forth by Kabam. It was a mistake on their part for making the event live without review. And who can blame the players for not wanting to partake in it? If someone in a five story building throws money out the window, would it be unreasonable that they reach out and grab as much money as they can? The answer is no. It is on the individual who threw the money out of the window who is liable. In turn player's accounts were blitzkrieged and their gems were wiped clean. Without notice via in game email or primary email. Nor has an official statement been released by Kabam. Just another day in the world of Camelot where nothing is explained and action against players is taken without notice or notification. Best thing Kabam could have done is put in a swap shop where goods could have been given out to those oblivious to this mistake. It was a mistake made by the developers. A mistake that the players paid for as usual. Same song along with the same dance.

                              Mail from 97

                              ---Begin forwarded message:Fellow Knight,

An inconsistency in the Round Tower allowed players to exchange 5 Leprechauns for a large number of Buckets O' Gold instead of "one" Bucket O'Gold as it was stated in the event's description. As always we intend to provide our players with great deals but this one was caused by a technical issue.

As a result we will restore your number of gems to the correct amount and we will be removing the extra Chests from your inventory. However, we understand the inconvenience that this may cause you and as a courtesy we will be granting 100 World Gems to your account, which will be available shortly.

We offer our deepest apologies for any confusion.

                              Regards

-The Battle for the North Team

                              That's a frickin joke....wouldn't expect anything less.
