on top of that, let me give an example. if you go to a store, and THEY mess up and give you more in change than you deserve, the company can not demand or take back what was already given. Kabam, just because YOU messed up, does not mean that you can PUNISH the players whom abide by your rules.

        Hello all,

I don't know how many people have ever worked for a professional business and had any experience in customer care or relations, but I have and when a company makes a mistake the customer doesn't lose the company does. I personally see how Kabam is happy by people going to worlds to take advantage of their mistake. Had they taken those pots and gem bundles I could understand regardless of how I feel about their obligation. But to take gems from my account even the ones I had paid for is on. They maid a mistake it cost them moeny and I or we as the customer shouldn't suffer when they realise it. And for those of you talking about it ruining the game or different worlds/servers I ask what does customers buying troops only to have them lost, purchasing of hammers and dust only to have their gear not forge. Kabam cost "us" the customer moeny and it's ok and we have to fight automated emails in attempts to get our losses back. They make aid take and can wipe our gems regardless how we got them and save their losses. That's not professional and it's not customer care, for such a large company Kabam is as incapable and ignorant as those who defend them. This is a "game", we aren't supposed to not take advantage of such mistakes?.. they make their fair amount of mistakes and we suffer they make mistakes and we are ruining the game for taking advantage of them?.. I'm sorry but as I have experience in dealing with customer care and duty of care to customers I know this isn't right of Kabam and their actions aren't entirely legal. If they can't honestly run and manage their business then that's their problem not mine as a customer. And if anyone wants to defend a company that's incompetent then feel free to do so but this is the real world and in real life people often take advantage of a good deal. Just normally businesses are big enough to wear their mistakes and deal with it not take on a very armature approach buy taking back what they themselves allowed to be taken. In the end of the day I have had enough with their incompetence and inability to get anything right. They won't fix this as they aren't willing to do anything to help or aid their customers only line their greedy pockets.

What a joke you guys are.. Do you honestly think that its fair that those who abused a glitch can have millions of gems for free while the rest quit after spending thousands? Get real, if kabam didnt fix this problem the game would have died within a week.. How about you guys earn your gems the way kabam intended and stop crying when they fix their mistakes.. None of you are entitled to anything, your account is the property of kabam and they can do whatever they wish.. And in this case they saved the game from complete failure.. You should be thankful.

That's like saying the ATM glitched and gave me $20,000 it's not my fault I did not steal any. The prizes clearly said that 1 chest will be paid not 1000! Yes Kabam stuffed up big time and needs to make it right, but that does not make the players who took advantage of it knowing full well they getting stuff they should not right.

We got players bragging in our GC that Kabam only took away a fraction of their gems, and none of their chests and are busy spending like crazy to spend the rest of the gems before Kabam wakes up to it.

This is a error on behalf of the kabam, yes but kabam can make it right by paying out the correct amount... And taking away the gems and chests that people got that they do not deserve, and to those threatening to sue good luck winning that in court if you got paid what was advertised....1 chest.

Dude your wrong. in the round tower it said payout x1000 chests for 5 leprechauns. So players that played that comp received the correct prize and it should not be taken from them.

Omg you guys are a joke. The only injustice to players would be if they didn't take them gems off you. If they allowed you to keep the gems those that received them would be the only players left on all servers within a month. They game would be ruined and the game would die. You would have infinite troops, all the best fully forged gear and smash all the comps. Who in there right mind would want to play on that sort of world when you don't stand a chance of competing. The only possible way to keep it fair would be to make them world gems so you can all compete against each other. In no way should those gems be allowed to leave that world and infect other worlds and therefore kill them. I for once applaud Kabam for what they have done. That said, I'm sure I would feel very aggrieved and annoyed had it happened to me, but ultimately I would know it is he right decision to remove the gems for the good of the game. The game is dying as it is, if those gems get into other worlds KOC is dead. Well done Kabam, your trying to put it right. Please compensate the players having the gems removed with something beneficial as a good will gesture.

Gems and the Pot Of Gold

Kabam I know that there was a lot of thought put into how to solve the 120k gem glitch on server 97 and whichever others, but to be honest it was your fault and those of us who took advantage of this were being smart. And then on top of freezing the pots of gold, you took away the gems we already opened. I really feel like a lot of players are going to quit after this bad example of customer service. You can't give us something and then take it away. This is how my world and I feel.

habs24, are you employed by kabam? You are missing very important issues here, people have had gems that they PAID for taken, people who opened 100k plus gems and spent them, still have fully geared knights and masses of items bought. The game is ruined, simple. Kabam have constantly told people effected by the unmarshall glitch, that they cannot give them troops back as that would not be fair to other players, so they can basically do what they want, how they want, whenever they want. I agree that they own the account, they do not own my money that I choose to spend on the basis of trusting the advertised prize payouts. The problem here is, the rectification that has been put in place is not fair to all players at some level! They had options to rectify this, if they had taken their time and thought it through, instead, they have just blindly swept through everyones accounts. And if you have not bought gems and been enjoying a free game, advertisement free, that is thanks to the people that have legitimately bought and had their gems taken. If the gemmers leave, the game will be adverts at every click, what fun that would be!!! I had legitimately, bought gems taken off me, to say I am annoyed, is an understatement! Kabam, seriously you need to start acting fairly across the board, not just base it on what the game YOU developed allows you to do with the least effort. Because what you have done is just that, rather than freezing, mailing and apologising and giving yourselves time to analyse accounts and put forward a reasonable remedy, you just wiped out all the faith left in yourselves (which wasn't much after the last few months of releasing non-issued gear to players, which you didn't recall, and letting people lose millions of might because your product is unstable)

I don't see how you can blame the players for this. Kabam is regularly giving away chests now that have 100,000 gems or even 500,000 gems. If these players spent their time (and/or money) collecting the items needed for the posted and promised reward, that's not a player issue. It's not like we here in the forum haven't suggested to Kabam a hundred times to implement some form of quality control, a simple checklist, a player QC/advisory group, etc. We've asked Kabam for a cooling off period of a few months to get these contests under control as well. We've explained to the executives that these contests and promotions routinely have unexpected results. They've made the business decision to remain steadfast in their current business practices, and this is just another example of the consequences. Evidently the financial upside for them is great enough to offset the costs of acquiring replacement customer players. At the end of the day, they are a for-profit business.

I think they should honor the prizes those players won. If they have concerns about retaining the rest of us, they will simply bonus us the maximum prize (600,000 gems or whatever the maximum was) to keep the game competitive.

We all spent over 12 hours getting these leprechauns, but I only received 250 gems and a single pot of gold for each 10 leprechauns. How is it possibly fair that some exploiters get millions of gems to use in any world for the same work? Well done Kabam. Just hope you dont miss any of these folks or they will destroy other worlds. And this is a form of virtual money. if a bank mistakenly deposits a million dollars into your checking account you can be arrested if you touch it or try to spend it. Same principle here.

If you don't know what's going on don't say anything. My problem is the gems I had before this mess up. They took gems I paid for and won previously. Those of you defending kabam your just trolling you have a right to an opinion no matter how stupid it is.
