  • Dirty Knight Glitch

It happened again on the weekend in 128 and one of my friends was zeroed after a reinforcing knight at sainted 10 took over marshal from a higher and far superior main marshalled knight at sainted 15. You guys had time to change themes for and away from Halloween and to release underworld (albeit packed with bugs) so why is it not possible to put one programmer on fixing this? Support are no help it seems. They just regurgitate the same lines about there being no issue.

Please kabam...this has been ongoing for a long time now. Please get this fixed :-(

The way reinforcing supposedly works is the knight with the supposedly better gear takes over the defense so even if a *15 is Marshall if a *10 reinforcing comes that has supposedly better gear the 10 will take priority so kabam says no problem

I think there is still a glitch . you might not want to rein or only rein with equal knights.

Sorry, I didn't see the topic text to be related to this, but it's the same as I just reported. The problem is not with the stats, it's with the knight level. I've had attack knights defend, naked knights and even knights at L225. The game seems to look at sainted knights as Level 1-15, not level 256-270. This is classic kabam beta testing for new features, don't let them tell you it's working fine, the reign system is broken at this time. If you receive reign from another player and the knight is better, it still will most likely not defend.

Edit: Link to my report: http://community.kabam.com/forums/sh...-used-as-reign

The stats in our case though were much lower than the main knight when the rein knight took over. Both stats AND level were lower.

Generally I would agree its best not to have reinforcement but guarding against alliance members sending rein off their own backs when they see attack reports in the reports page is very difficult if you are mandated to have an embassy in order to be an alliance member. And that is assuming too that the sending alliance member is a genuine account and not an alt from a player in another alliance deliberately sending a very poor knight and getting their friends to attack whilst you are unintentionally and through not fault of your own vulnerable from a very poor marshalling knight.

The answer may simply to not open and concentrate only on attack. Thats what a lot of folk are doing now. It doesn't help the fun element of the game though. It also does not help those genuine members whose knights are not very strong in getting assistance of a stronger knight from alliance friends to help defend themselves as you point out which is really not very helpful. Right now i just wish i could just delete the embassy and still be in alliance. I like the idea of the facility to rein but the downside way outweighs the pro's right now.

I just wish kabam would fix this They have had plenty of time and have the resources to give us haloween themes and a new PVP world so this being so fundamental really should be just as high a priority :-(

Yes kabam should investigate and eradicate this problem. But in he meantime, as I have said before, don't open, focus only on attack as he previous poster said and have your embassy in a non troop city. That is, of course, a city you don't attack or defend from. That way you will still have your embassy to be in your alliance and not have the worry of diry knights.

Gonna be hard when everyone closes and everyone only try to attack since there will be nothing left to attack.. ;-) Just break down the embassy in your troop city and you're good to open. And yes, Kabam should fix it but they will either never do that since this problem is already here for years.. or.. it will be fixed in a year or more

I don't understand, what does the embassy have to do with the base stat of the pants? I think that's a red herring, we should focus on getting them to change it. Without constant pressure they won't lift a hand over this. I'm sure that you realized the futility of your suggestion already, Kikansha. If that happened, the only players that would open would be those that are inexperienced or as it is now with 99% of the players, no clue about this handicap.

They reduced the march on skill of round table heroes by one level without a word to players (again 99% have no clue this was done), so when the change is to increase revenue (which is was if you look at the corresponding changes to the chests in madness), so they have the ability to do such a thing, but I highly doubt that this will ever be changed, they can't even acknowledge it here.

Well of course they should fix the problems. That's a given. My suggestion was for those worried about getting a dirty knight. No embassy in the troop city you defend from means no chance of a dirty knight getting in there and causing grief. I'm also sure everyone is not going to take my suggestion about not opening either. I got rid of my embassy in my troop and I do open. This problem has been going on for a while now and I see it continuing. Just trying to be practical here. As for fixing base stats of gear, keep bothering Kabam about it. Good luck to you.

                  Hold your breath

The only fix is for another company to come out with a game that doesnt have all these glitches run by an ethical company.
