  • Thanks whiners

I want to thank, NOT!, all the whiners who complained about the recent updated arena matchups. It was very fair in that players were being matched up more fairly in their deck numbers. Once again I am now being matched up against players 3-4 times my deck strength 2-3 times out of every refresh, which is much worse than the original matchup way. I have even heard this at every deck level of players. I feel this is Kabam's way of saying "bitch again will you, now what do you have to say?"...I don't blame them.

On the whiners behalf, we are sorry for complaining so often about the arena matchups. At least I was able to accrue some rewards in the update to be able stick with the mighty mights. Now....it's just a vague dream that no money will accomplish.

See it from their point of view.
People with great decks with 1m+ HP would only get very little might, because they were so much better, so it was actually bad for them to have a good deck, which is not smart.
Some other people were matched up against the same 3 top players every refresh, not being able to ever win a fight.
So, why is it you're more entitled to winning than the players who paid alot of cash to have good decks?

Why do I feel entitled? No one is entitled, but I have also invested a good chunk myself...I do not have 24/7 to play a game, so having an arena that will allow me to obtain some good rewards and cards was very nice for a change. Do I need to be top 10? No, but it would be nice to be able to reap some of the 4K and 5.5K regular arena awards that was finally obtainable. And guess what? By being able to shoot for a nice reward, that I know is obtainable within 4-5 hours, will also deplete ticket stock thus causing my wallet to have to open. If it stays at this rate I will not even waste my time trying, hmmm..What do you know...that would actually save me money. Great point caPss. thanks, you just save me money. Sorry guild mates no more bonus gifts for you, I'm saving money.

If you are spending money and do not have a deck to get might rewards you are either: a) Spending your money wrong OR b) spending such insignificant amount, that Kabam doesn't care that you stop.

No matter HOW you look at it, the "new", now reverted arena system was not at all fair.
Low players loved it, because they wouldn't be matched with the strongest players at any point in the arena, therefor they could just spam their way to might that would be twice as high as the might the top decks ever got to.

The system in place now, not really fair either because top decks will block weaker players for hours, but it's a lot more fair then the "new" system.

It's getting really old to listen to weak players complaining about how hard arenas are, when they either played less then 6 month or only have few hours a day to play.
This is not Hello Kitty and it's long lasting game, that requires time or money to get to the top, so you might not feel like you are feeling entitled, but you are still complaining about not being able to compete with players who spend a lot more hours and most likely a lot more money they you will ever do.

So tell me again, why you should be able to compete with hardcore players, unless you yourself got the time and money to be a hardcore player?

          OP Has A Point...

Arenas are terrible since the most recent change to the Arena's matchmaking system. I am a consistent spender, considerably so during better promos. I am level 100 and continue to lose over 66% of the arena battles since rollback. I have gone through over 100 SS at a time only to walk away with 1 or 2 crappy 5* cards that I didn't even need. If anything, I believe this game is set to screw the spenders because the developers know these players will inevitably spend even more money to try and balance the deficit. I have so many 'power cards' in my deck, but they are all fairly useless because I only ever obtain half (or less) of the cards needed for any of their combos.
Yesterday I spent no less than 12 hours trying to complete scroll and pot/tix arenas, and still only managed 7k might in the pot/tix arena because I was unable to maintain any streak higher than 4 or 5 before battling opponents that I know I can beat and *HAVE* beat only minutes earlier. I am talking about opponents with no combos against my 5 or 6 combos and a hp/att deficit of 200k/80k (Not taking my combos into account).
If I fight every battle, without regard to win/lose then I average 5 fights per minute. *This is doing nothing but clicking through each step to get to next fight.* With Might bonus being used, I get 4 might per fight. Even my wins tend to pay at 'off' rates - so say the occasional 6 might for those. Still, that leaves me 20-22 might per minute. 7,000 was needed for pot arena to reach the 8k top reward; 2,000 for scroll; and out of need for items from Balz arena, I managed roughly 3,000 might in there. So... 12,000 might is what I managed to accomplish yesterday at a rate of 20-22 might per minute. (That works out to ~546 minutes, of non-stop clicking. So just over 9 hrs for that... assuming I did not divert my attention from the screen for ANY length of time to do anything else. Which of course I did, because I also had to fit 3 raids into that same 12 hr window.
This game has officially become unplayable for anyone who has a life and/or a job. Kabam... if you read any of these threads, I implore you to take all of this into consideration before you decide to 'update' your game any further. New system may be great for newbies... but for those of us who have been loyal players/payers... it is as though we are being punished *because* we have worked to improve our decks to the best of our abilities.

Don't want to go into detailed discussion about fairness/unfairness of arena.

I just want to point to one fact. When arena system was updated we saw few arenas where players get 150+k might points. Under old arena system even the most powerful player could not get that high, even though they had best deck and more tickets than anybody else.

I think this fact alone point to how flawed new system was

When you cheat your way to win you just kill all the fun
