  • Arena Matchmaking

Hello Hoc players. I have some ideas that many of you have experience in arena gameplay. I have some suggestions on how to make things work better in arena matchmaking that many would agree on:
    1) No more easy, average and hard names in the arena. Sometimes it makes no sense when the "easy" opponent is hard and the "hard" opponent is easy. I would just label it Player 1, 2 and 3 so that we don't get as angry a lot.
    2) Please don't have arena matchmaking by rank. I've been noticing this for about 2 months and I am surprise that it hasn't been fixed. One way I would make the matchmaking is based on HP and Atk. (EX Opponent 1 has 200k hp and 180k att VS Opponent 2 with 105k Hp and !75k attack) This can work but then the combos would ruin it a little bit. So the best idea I have is to try to make a system that knows the picture of the combos (Ex Gods combo and League of Dammed) If the system sees it the picture then it can compare the HP and Atk with the pictures.
    3) Have it seperate in groups please: 0-50K atk, 50-75k atk, 75-100katk, 100-125k atk, 125k atk-150K, 150-175k atk, 175-200k atk, 200-225k atk, 225-250k atk, 250-275k atk, 275k-300k att. Have it separate by 25k att and do the same with HP. This would balance everything out better than having a 100k AtkVS a 230 Atk which can be annoying sometimes.
Even as a strong player with over 1mil hp and 275k att I can't complete arenas sometimes, especially weekly ones.
If you have any ideas on arena matchmaking please comment below so that Kabam workers can fix this as soon as possible. - Thanks for Reading Cuato from Percival-47

You see, even if u play arenas with a really crappy team, you will win at least 45%, the script that they use to choose your opponents is based on your wins/losses, you see if u start to loose a lot they will send u lower and lower players to battle u, till u can score, the same applies to winnings, if u start to win a lot they will send stronger players till a point that will be balanced!

Cuato, what you suggest is awkward and absolutely unfair matching system

According to your suggestion I am as top deck will be locked only with few other top decks while people with weak/mid decks will have easy walk to the top meeting only weak opponents and never seeing top opponents. This is insane

I think matching system should have two parts.

      1. Might rewards. 1k might = one step in ladder. Start with weakest opponents and progressively get to top players as you get close to top might

      2. Rank rewards. Once you get to max might in arena you start to see ONLY players above you no arena guardians, no other means to bypass stronger players. u want my place? Fight me. And if my deck is stronger loose and suicide your way to the top

That will also help to reduce arena cheating issue because cheater will not be able to build high streak and will have to waste lot's of tix to own arena. May work for them for a while but tickets will run out at some point

Ps. I'd like also to see current streak system killed. Doesn't make any sense anymore

I believe the system I have created is fair. It can be separated by a 25k att. I also agree with your ideas about the matchmaking Lavep especially #2 is overall the best one. I'm just telling my experiences with the arena issue and I'm sure that the matchmaking is based on Rank. I always see players around me and sadly they have better combos than me making me lose the majority of the time. Also I will sacrifice my streak if it doesn't dramatically lower my Grail Knight Level. If you lose about 5 Battles it lowers it by like 9% which I guess is fair enough. In conclusion I think my system makes sense but I have to say Lavep Your #2 is the best one so far. :]

They need to take out the arena guardians that's what is screwing up the arenas. 90% disagree with me I know but soon as the botter gets in first or top 5 that's all they get so in the long run kabam is helping the boters win the top prizes. Easy should be a guaranteed win, medium should be 50/50 and the hard should be 75/25. At least give ppl the chance at winning every fight. Not this 100% who knows what will show up in the 3 spots. My fav is coming up against a full t4 golden team in the easy spot which should never happen unless you have the team yourself.

Arena Guardian should exist till might reward is reached. Without that there is no point of playing this game. .

The biggest problem of this game the strong will always be strong while the new ones can't as they can't win Arenas or nything..

Another thing to add is Streak.. it needs to be looked at I like it for myself but at times I will w8 for refresh rather than have a chance of losing it.. For New Players this is not good

For the game to prosper there should be a way for new players to grow. .

Then either you are a noob too or don't play enough. . Arena Guardian appear only in one slot so they have to w8 3 min for each refresh... or Kamikaze your way through. at which point might gain to ticket used is freekingly low
