I've seen many posts regarding the Gk% drop which are pointless, now, this is an issue that requires atention.
Ever since the 4.0 update, arena became a torture, I don't know why they even had to mess with the matchmaking system on the first place, since it was better than what it is now, at the moment you start an arena and get close to 2,000 might everything goes nuts, you start to face oponents that are waaay up in the ladder and stronger that you, I think I get how it's working, but the deployment is awful. On a 20K Might arena you start facing the Rank 1-10 players at 3K Might when they already finished it.
Here's how I think it's working:
On Challenge you face the oponents that are Ranked the highest on the ladder and that are stronger than you. (have seen lower)
On Average you face the oponents that are Ranked similar to you on the ladder and their base stats are also similar to yours. (have seen higher and lower)
On Easy you face the oponents that are Ranked similar or lower to you on the ladder and their base stats are similar or lower. (have seen even higher)
Now, when you first join the arena, you start facing weak oponents, but when you get close to 2K Might things go haywire, you enter the tiers mentioned above, starting with the weaker oponents of each tier and which position in the ladder is lower, and once you beat them and you gain might, difficulty increases fast. To the point where you can't beat your oponents anymore and refreshing won't cut it, the only ways to advance or get lower oponents is by starting to lose a few fights or by asking your oponents to lower their parties. OH, and once you beat the oponents of certain tier, you get their places replaced by oponents of the other tiers, say that you beat the oponents on the "Challenge" tier because they had their party lowered, soon you will get the "Challenge" tier to be filled up with oponents from the "Average" tier.
The problem with this matchmaking system is that the oponents you face have very similar base stats than you or higher, little times lower, and that makes keeping a streak extremely difficult, refreshing is not a viable option when you already beat several times a certain oponent and it will pretty much will get discarded as an oponent, the only ways to get him back is by losing or if he starts gaining might.
The concept of this Matchmaking is actually decent, but is was poorly implemented and should've been removed quickly, but it's still here and it's an annoyance, so PLEASE Sp4zrocker, push this to the team under the "Important" stuff and give us the previous matchmaking system back.
