So I decided to take the advice and deliberatly lost my streak to get weaker opponents. And yes, after loosing some 6 times in a row, weaker opponents started appearing. So I guess it is true what XerxxesOfCamelot said that there is no point in refresh if you are not in top 10. You will just spend a lot of time refreshing all the time and getting a defeatable opponent once in +- 20 minutes.

So I guess kabam should think about improving this system because if I would be spending money on the instant refreshing, I would have lost tons of cash by now without reaching my goal!

I have party with ATK and HP like you. (413 324/123 965) In current Weekly 6* arena it took me around 7 hours of batteling to reach 10 000 might with 695 fights - 382 wins, 313 looses,. As a result I got Sir Galahad, Wind whisper and Horn of broceliande. I know how you feel. For players like us, is hard to reach at least 8000 might in arenas without hours spent with this game. But I dont think kabam is gonna do something with arena playing system...

If people active chance higher to get them next refresh. So for super arenas where people constantly climbing you will face same opponent more frequently that in weekly arena for example

i don't think this is true. I don't remember which arena but a few weeks ago I burnt tix for an arena. Well over 1000 tix and the SAME 10-12 opponents every time. As a matter of fact, after a certain number of points gained, I get these same 10-12 people regardless of which arena it is, what my or their ranks is, win/loss ratio, etc...

It also time related. You will see more somebody who is currently gaining points together with you rather someone who climbed two-three hours/days ago

I thought it was general win/loss ratio, too, but now it seems to me more likely that it is your win/loss ratio against the specific opponents. I think that if you lose to one opponent a few times, the game will decide that the opponent is too strong for you, move it to the Challenge position and replace it with an easier opponent. Also, as you mentioned, refreshing doesn't change anything because your bilance with the opponents didn't change.

Bottom line is if you are not top 10 refresh is useless , refresh should give random players from all the server not only those you cant beat.Playing for months now and if i try to get a streak i end up refreshing and getting 1 opponent i can beat at 30 minutes , wich makes it imposible to finish any arena.I hope they do something about it.

Make arena refresh random or at least the easy or medium ones !! Do something about it !!

Only Kabam can provide an answer to that, the rest of us could only speculate.

    So here is my speculation.

It seems to me that you are given opponents from a small group of players that have also entered the arena and have similar deck strength to yourself. If you keep beating them, they move from challenge to middle and easy slots and are gradually replaced by opponents from the next higher group. If you keep losing to them, they move the other way towards challenge slots and you also start getting easier opponents from the next weaker group. I heard someone compare this to ELO system, but I don't play chess so I don't know if that's how it works.

A special case is at the very top or the very bottom where there is no stronger or weaker group of opponents and you start getting Arena Guardians. That's what you can take advantage of if you are among the first players in the arena.

Generally, just refreshing and waiting for a playable opponent won't move you forward one bit. You either have to defeat some of the opponents to get harder ones or lose to them to get easier ones. I personally just take a risk and sometimes lose the streak, it's not that big deal. I have 1.1M/300k of base HP/ATK and still my overall record streak is ~250. But finishing the arenas despite losing here and there helped me to improve.

    Arena difficulty levels

    Hi,

Can someone explain to me how the Arena opponent generator works because I can't do anything in there as soon as I pass the might of 1200.. The opponents that are generated afterwards are totally unbeatable for me and the strange thing is that there are some 10 opponents who keep reappearing over and over again and only 1 of them is beatable for me. I have an SSS deck with 406 932 health and 129 802 attack - I know that is not a lot but even if I activate the Streak bonus, the maximum that I can reach is like 1700 might or something! i can't even dream about reaching a card or good reward at 5000 or 20000. The generator gives me only one, maybe 2 beatable enemies and only at every 5th refresh.

I played this game before in a different world and with a bit of patience you could reach 7000 might by being active.

Now, being active + streak bonus gets me max at 1700 might. (And that is with 3 day nonstop effort).

So I don't understand, either I am super unlucky or there is something that i don't understand how the opponent generator works. For example, how can i be in the 300 place in the rank in arena but keep getting only 10 opponents on repeat??! Where are the rest 289?
Working...
