Here are the results of 40 matchups in the Revenger's arena.

    Some details:
I'm probably in the top 20-25 players on my server, but certainly not in the top 10.
The losing matchups were all against the same 4 players.
The even matchups were against 8 different players.
The wins were against only 2 different players.
I was never matched against an Arena Guardian.
For over half of the matchups I had a losing matchup for both my Challenge and Average opponents, and again these were only 4 distinct players.
My wins were mostly 30 point each, since even these oppoents were able to take down my tank team.
My bonus might pool was typically full at 1000 points because I went so long between winnable matchups.

Until I get to the far better arena "pocket" where I am running into Arena Guardians consistently I have no real hope of making significant progress toward the top 15k reward. My 11 wins worked out to perhaps 400 points.

This is not a fun game experience, but it is typical of the current arena matchups.

Conversely, let's say I didn't play so conservatively. I saw 42 "even" and 11 winnable matches. If I won 1/2 of the even matches I would get 32 wins, but only at about 6 points each on average for 192 points. And my winning streak & bonus would be in single digits. Which is just to point out that there is no particularly preferable approach.

    Cheers,
    Rosen

For God sake, just forget about streak!

No kidding, stop complaining about matching system and don't treat your streak as holy cow

I hope one day kabam will cancel it altogether. That's the main factor that slow us in arenas and make this game boring and huge time waster

I agree that the winning streak is an absolutely terrible metric. But it is the current bonus metric. Note my final comment that I got about twice as many points this way as I would have otherwise.

I keep saying it. You either have top deck or you're in the same boat as everyone else. No matter how much you 'improve' your deck, you're going to have the same arena record until you have the best deck. Having a higher HP/ATK deck just means that you fight the top decks earlier. If you have an ~800HP deck, you're going to constantly be fighting top 5 as soon as you enter the top 100.

Getting to 3k is easy , if you dont mind not getting rewards it is easy enough to get to 3k in every arena with win streak. But if you want to finish might rewards and potentially rank, you need to just grind for it. I have a 900/260 deck and still don't streak unless I'm not really playing hard .

The key is haveing an near unlimited supply of arena tickets . Next event spend 1000 Potions on easy, this should get you about 2000 tickets to spend as you need

I have a 1.2m/340k+ deck and i spammed the weekly arena because in my server we have around 10 people in the 1,1m region and 5 people in 1.2 region and 1 in the 1.3 region, currently my wins/loss in the weekly arena stands at 644/160 at 30k might, but guess what i am in top 3 taking 1 crimson, i, for this particular arena saved my streak till 15k, spammed the 15k-20k, then built my streak in a guild scroll arena and now im at 30k without intentionally breaking my streak, i mantain i had 2 surprise loses but that's it. Streak is not the most important thing as lavep mentioned. But, yes, i spam too and im in the top 5 in my server.

Even top3 deck will not let you maintain streak forever. I am one of 3 top decks on my server but there are another 10-15 players that can kill my streak occasionally. If I'll wait for them it would take a forever to gain even 1k might. Just go through. Yes it will take much more tickets but much less time.

But eventually you will get our streak back once you gain enough points to keep big gap between you and your opponents

I'm sorry, but there is no 'pocket' in which you get the guard for sure. I only get it, if my streak is 0, my bonus down to the minimum of 11%, and after reaching that I still continue losing. And even then, I usually end up getting opponents 2x stronger than I am, in every of the 3 spots. And I'm not that bad on my server. There are people stronger, yes, but I'm somewhere between mid and mid high. But in the arena I usually rank somewhere between 100-500, as I never get any opponents I can beat. I know that there are some, quite a lot, but I never get to fight them. That's just the Kabam matchmaking system.

It honestly seems that the only thing that matters in the arenas is how often you run into Arena Guardians. At certain rank/might/win combinations you'll get them for several dozen refreshes in a row. And then there are deserts where you see none.

There can be one or more players ahead of you in the arena who are significantly weaker than you. It hardly matters because you are simply never matched with them.

there is 2nd top guild (periculum) in my realm which make a rule to their member to lowering their deck if offline or finish the arena. they are the real mvp, especially for average player like me.

hope future macthmaking arena more make sense..

Changing the deck does not affect matchmaking i think. The place in the arena may affect

it really sucks. I am a top player and after ,2 k might i only get 3 unbeatable opponents. So i beg for guardians or stop the streak.
However medium level players get nice opponents at even 8k might? I have seen it. How to explain? I dont know!!

If you are at top 25 in your server, playing arenas is harder. Is it same in your realm?

I've got a question about that. Because when there was the SS-deck arena on, the same players had a SS-deck in that arena and a strong one in the others. Does it only change, if you log into that arena/fight there with a different deck?
