  • Team for new guy

I am relatively new to this game, have spent some money and summoned up some decent cards. (I think) I was wondering if anyone can help me build a team since I can not find any informaiton on card lists or anything. I got into a guild and they raid a lot but my contributions are minimal. Any advice would be awesome! Server is Pellinore-59

    Thanks guys

    Anthony

That's a nice list of cards you got. But as you may figure out already. Best to max enhance your cards before evolving. I think the bigger question will also rely on how many of each of the above cards you have. Guardian angel/warhorse/grail knight/paladin is a nice starter combo for a team to have if you already have multiple copies of those cards and the 5/6 star cards with only 1-2 copies. Also the elemental team is nice but I don't see water elemental which shouldn't be hard to get since those are given as free login cards 3 times a month

I'd max out Knight Warband and put a high-damage 4th card or GA, as LordKenny suggested. This would be a useful team for Bourgard raid too and would be quite useful to you for a long time. This would be my team 3.

I'd test with guildmates how effective that Polar combo is looking (depends on the number of cards you have; it has limited potential anyway) as you seem to lack tanking options. Getting a Balzathor (seems easier said than done) and pairing it with Fenric or at least getting in a necros and Father M/Insects combo in your first team should buy you some time. If you get lucky with a Vamb, you can go for Celestials. this would be team 1.

I'd put the party damagers/strong team damagers (Green K, Arcane Archer, etc.) in team 2 till I get some options in terms of combos. Elemental team is good too, but has limited potential in future.

Party so far after reading your guys advice.

Team 1 - 30% less damage, will be nice once the are all maxed. I have 3 angels also.
            Hope
            Angela
            Winter Treekin
            Toymaker

team 2 - The knight band with Green knight lets me attack for almost 20k,, but still maxin out the cards
Grail Knight (Have 6 copies currently trying to maxt hem out)
Warhorse (have 4 copies currently trying to max them out)
Paladin (I maxed out 2 Paladins and just evolved them)
Green Knight (lvl 52 only one copy)

            Team 3 - Undecided
            Arcane Archer
            Azarel
Mist Stalker (2 copies of him trying to max)
            ? Treekin/Guardian Angel/General MOrbius/Maiden Exemplar/Sword SUmmoner

What do you gusy think? I have been buying stones, but I just get random cards no combos. Also, is there an effecient combo to farm the bosses for father mal/gore/balth/necros?

Looks good to me, except I'd probably put my hardest-hitting team right at the back to allow it to live till the last moment (someone's skill attack may still get it first, but that is not something you can avoid in any case). I'd place the cards I want to activate their skills ahead of the others in the team. Here are some not-so-hard-to-get cards and combos to aim for:

Druid Warband (great first tank team; add a fourth card for an additional combo or to augment HP further)
                Giant Insects (40% damage reduction)
Sun mage (strikes fear in the hearts of even mid players, especially if you pair it with a combo that increases proc rate:-D)
Maxed out boss cards (at least the ones of the first 5 cities, to start with)

While fighting a wandering boss, use one team at lower levels (the one that costs the lest mana). You can gradually add more teams as its level gets higher. Knight Warband works great for mid-leves. When a boss's level gets too high for you to defeat it without spending a lot of mana, wait for its level to reset and fight some other boss in the meantime.

Only "eat" 4-star or lower cards you are sure you'll find no use in future.

My advice would be to steer clear of buying gems unless you see a promo where different guildmates are pulling a lot of great cards (the infamous Mystery Ticket chest comes to mind). Also check the forum thread regarding feedback on a particular promo. It's always better to learn from someone else's mistakes than making them yourself! You will get plenty of summon stones from raids, arenas, and a few other rewards: use them instead.

Thank you for everything, I really appreciate it. What do you mean by "level reset on bosses." Curretnly I have 3 Gore-claw and trying ot get more. He his around lvl 30 and it takes my full warband to kill him. 148 mana per fight. When does the lvl reset? What does the druid warband consist of?

When a boss's level gets so high that you'll need your full team to fight him (and consequently expend mana potions), do not fight it for 5 days or so. It's level will automatically reset to 1. It's no problem if you farm in the same area and the boss pops up; just don't fight it and it'll reset eventually.

Druid Warband consists of Alpha stag, Primal warrior, and Beastmaster.
