Forum Rules [Updated 12/21/2016]

MAIN RULES OF THE FORUMS

Please respect your community. Respect each other as you all enjoy the same thing ? The Game.

We encourage open and friendly discussion of the game and the Community. Moderators and Staff have final decisions on all matters, and are here to make sure that the Community remains a friendly, fun place appropriate for players of all backgrounds, ages and groups.

It is the forum member's responsibility to stay up to date on forum rules and to honor the behavior outlined.

PURPOSE OF THE FORUMS

These forums provide an area for constructive player discussions of the game. It also allows players to
help each other identify bugs and issues, and help each other reproduce and resolve them.

These forums are not the most direct way to contact support. If you?re having an issue with your game and you need direct assistance, please tap on the FAQ/Support tab within the game.

CHANGES OR IMPROVEMENT

Please make sure to stay updated on these rules by reviewing this page from time to time.

SET RULES

This is a private board. As such, decisions made are final.
We reserve the right to remove any message board content without notice for any reason.

Rule 1: Responses to rule violations
Violating these rules will result in warnings, either formal or informal, suspensions, banning, or other sanctions.

Rule 2: Respect other users on the forums
- Do not make attacks or insult other users, either in the forums or through private messages. Disagreements and debates are fine, but don?t make it personal.
- Do not attack groups. This includes professions, races, religions, sexual orientations, genders, incomes, or even vague groups like ?you people.?
- Do not use ill terms which are offensive to groups, do not ?flame?, ?troll.? or ?haze?.

Rule 3: Respect the forum purpose and structure
- Make your posts in the appropriate forum.
- Please use the Search function. If a relevant thread already exists, please post there instead of creating a new thread about the same topic. Duplicate threads will be closed to keep the forums orderly and easy to navigate.
- Keep off-topic posts in the off-topic forum.
- Don?t start discussions about games that are not ours.
- Do not cross-link to other message boards or websites unless approved by a moderator.

Rule 4: Respect the law
- Do not post anything illegal under U.S. law, or encourage other users to break the laws of the U.S. or their country of residence.
- Do not encourage users to break terms of service. This includes giving information about how to find scripts, exploits, or cheats, as well as arranging to buy or sell accounts or virtual goods.

Rule 5: Respect the audience
Think about who you're talking to. Users may be as young as 13 on these message boards, and may be male or female, and from countries across the globe.
- Keep your language civil. Profanity is frowned on.
- Do not post Adult Material, inappropriate graphic sexual content in any format, or links to sexually explicit sites.
- Do not post graphic images or explicit descriptions of violent acts.
- Do not use an avatar or signature that could offend other users. They have to look at it a lot.

Rule 6: Respect privacy
- Do not post any private emails or private messages unless you have the explicit permission of each person involved in the exchange.
- Do not post private communication between customer support, members, moderators, or administrators on these forums, or anywhere else. (This include support ticket responses)
- Do not post any information covered by a non-disclosure agreement or beta testing agreement. Even if you somehow have inside information about our competitors, for legal reasons we don?t want to hear it.
- Do not post Facebook information about other forum users.
- Do not post any private information about other users.
- Do not post in-game information in an attempt to have other players attack your target. Be careful to not cross the line into bullying.

Rule 7: Do not spam
- Do not post repeatedly about the same topic.
- Do not spam users on the forums or through private messages.
- Do not start a thread without actual purpose.
- Do not start a thread about a news story or article unless you make it clear what the story is about, and offer your own opinion to start a discussion.

Rule 8: Respect your account
- Do not share your account information with other individuals. You will be held responsible for any rules violations that occur under your account.
- Do not create new accounts or use other tricks to avoid suspensions or bans.
- Do not create ?sock puppet? accounts ? multiple accounts created just so that you can agree with yourself and make it seem like your ideas have more support than they do.
- Never include your e-mail address or any other personal information in posts.

Rule 9: Respect the Moderators
- Do not post using the color red. This color is reserved for moderators.
- Do not impersonate moderators. Do not claim to speak for the moderators.

Rule 10: Respect the decisions of the moderators
- The moderation teams reserves the right to warn, suspend, or permanently ban users judged to be acting against the spirit of the rules, even if the user is following the letter of the rules.
- Do not argue with moderators about moderator decisions. You can disagree with a moderator?s opinions, just like any other poster, but when they post moderator actions in red text, it is considered final.
- Moderators have no access to your game account. If you have an issue you must contact customer service.

Generally, BE NICE. There is nothing wrong with being nice to each other.

    That would require an act of God for Kabam. They mess up basic things like giving away stuff, how do you want them to do a massive search to fix this?
    They can certainly do it by looking at accounts one by one, but the whole player base has been affected. Either way there is no viable solution to this and whatever they do they'll lose a lot of players.

      well, i dont know how to answer to that... but i bet Aaron can and they do have the tools to do so, i'll just wait for his word to be spoken
      we cant do much more... at least now they are aware of the problem

        I doubt there will be a great solution. like myself, i max and evolved the 1st free copy to T4 and enhanced the 2nd free copy with my T4. Now my T4 already at max. How they gonna trace this?

          Paladin, for sure many will be hurt and upset by this... but think about how you obtained them... i think that, as long as they refund you all the feeders and give you the CORRECT amount of gift cards (1 guardian angel as supposed to) we should be fine...

          That's my PoV, and i have a free shiver like you... i'm ok to lose it if that means things are going to be restored, this kind of stuff shouldnt have happened sadly

            I'm amused by the fact that the people complaining about everyone getting Shiverhearts and/or getting Shiverhearts instead of Guardian Angels still went ahead and enhanced/evolved them.

            It's like winning a free burger at a restaurant, getting filet mignon instead, looking around and complaining that everyone else got free filet mignon as well, proceeding to eat your filet mignon, then complaining that you want everyone to throw up their filet mignon. Oh, and you still want your free burger.

            A bit hypocritical, don't you think?

              it's not that simple:

              - That "filet" would affect only that dine, those Shivers will affect the whole gameplay and arena balance FOREVER.
              - I wouldnt mind IF everyone had THE SAME reward but we have ppl that got 1 and ppl that got 4 and this is not right.
              - The card is wrong, Guardian Angel was supposed to come out, not Shiverheart
              - A single max'd Shiverheart T4 can render useless and take down a 300k/100k deck in 2/3 ROUNDS... now if this is what you want... that's not what i want

                Lol, are you playing solitaire? This is so simple minded, it's laughable. If everyone got Aaron's deck tomorrow except you (you get an arena ticket), you wouldn't complain?

                And if everyone did get Aaron's deck tomorrow, you wouldn't see the implications? This game would be over. Your dining analogy makes no sense, whatsoever.

                In a PvP game, all advantages are relative. Tell you what, you keep those Shivers. Tomorrow, Kabam will give everyone else a new Godly card with 10 million hp, and 2 million atk. Please don't whine. You got all those free Shivers! Hah!

                Edit: I just found out this troll is a new player by his own admission in another thread. Of course he doesn't mind the handout, he just started. He got 2 months worth of progress handed to him.

                  Wow, you guys took my comment way out of proportion. I agree that the whole thing is a fiasco and it's unbalancing. It's just amusing that some people complain about the handout, but go ahead and use the cards they were given anyway. The dining analogy is purposely simplistic, but valid within the context of my comment.

                  And please don't be quick to label people trolls, Zyphen. And yes, I've been playing for a week. And you make so many assumptions in your reply that it's laughable.

                      Don't think that just because you deleted your other, even dumber post, that I (or others) didn't read it. I didn't have to make any assumptions because you stated plainly what you meant. This is just the standard back-pedaling that comes afterwards. Anyways, I would have ignored you as a one-off if you weren't going to keep posting about it in a transparent attempt to hang on to your freebies. I'll let others judge how accurately I have you pegged.

                        Yeesh. Get over yourself. Oh noes, some random, faceless people on the interwebs don't like me.

                        And yes, my other post was dumb, but it amused me to post it even for a few minutes. And yes, I deleted it before the inevitable flamestorm. If I were trolling, I would have left it up and enjoyed the show. It's really ridiculous how upset people get about a video game. And spending hundreds of dollars on pictures of monsters? Even sillier.

                        But I'm sure you would have taken the bait. Please prove me wrong by dropping this whole conversation. Or maybe you can read my new post and flame me there, too. Whatever makes you happy. I'm off to play the game.

                            Thank you for taking the time to write in. If I understand correctly you have some concerns with recent event. I'm sorry to hear this and I will be glad to address the issue. The game team was able to verify that all players that qualified for the reward has been issued the reward.

                            The game team was able to confirm that the rewards were issued and successfully consumed as well suggesting that you may have sent in a case to support shortly after receiving the rewards. I do apologize for any trouble this may have caused.

                            I have forwarded your information tot he game team for further review. In the meantime, I have allocated various summoning stones to your account as a one time courtesy.
