Duels seem nice, strong decks will prey on lower ones but, beside that, i guess almost everyone will find someone lower than him to grab some free "honor" (is there really honor in doing stuff like this?)... gotta understand what this new value will be used for...

Sacrificing cards for stones might be one of the greatest ideas Gaea has ever had... too bad the implementation sucks: you gotta sacrifice only ONE card at a time and, on top of that, after there's alos a "cooldown timer" that goes from 3 hrs (5* card evo 1) up to... idk how much it is for a 7* card evo 4, but for a 7* card evo 1 is 12 friggin' hours!
How are we supposed to get rid of the hundred of thousands cards we have no use for with such conditions? (1 at a time + cooldown of several hours)
    This needs to be changed

Changing avatar is funny... useless but funny, yet again we cant choose it from all the cards we have, we got only a very limited bunch of card to pick from.

All in all: intentions were GOOD, implementation is BAD

Furthermore ppl has been asking for AGES changes to Caerlon's Tower rewards to match the current meta (which is going to shift again because of the new 8* cards) and this hasnt been done.
Not to mention SS are still giving ****in 3* cards, like... wtf? get rid of 3* and 4* cards from Summoning Stones

    I agree with Shirl:
As any explanation is missing, nobody knows what to do with this new duel function, ok, maybe we will learn by try and error. If it is useful for development, we will see.
Changing cards to summoning stones: I tried with one of the huge maounts of 5* in my inventory, and thought, Gaea will show minutes, seconds and milliseconds. Hours are ridiculous, so to my opinion you have to change the waiting time to something reasonable like 3 min for a not evolved 5*-card or its completely useless.
Chosing an avatar by yourself: I want my Modron back. It was fine like it was before, so please cancel it. Its a really bad idea, because now you cannot see the leader of your foe in the arenas anymore. Atm we nearly all start with the 1*Squire.

      Another point: a 7*-card on T1 gives 44 ss, a 7*-card on T4 gives 88 ss, should be at least 4 times the amount of a T1-card

It looks like you can bet on who's going to win whichever duel(s) interest you and win gems and/or gold if you guess right. That's VERY interesting.

My roommate and I were just tinkering around to see how it works and bets were already placed on us.

Already digging this Dueling for $$$$ concept.

Now on to the crazy new Sacrifice feature....

I'd much rather the Ghost Ship was expanded to include our common/easy to obtain 7 star cards in exchange for rarer 7 star cards or yes 8 star cards eventually.

Let's be honest, we'll most likely end up with TONS more 3 and 4 star cards in our vaults then we started with after realizing we had totally USELESS summon stones to sift through. 3 and 4 star cards DO NOT need to be in the summoning pool any more. They are not welcome. Make them go away. Stop the madness.

Come on guys (Gaea) you're missing the whole point of why we want ALL of these unwanted extra cards gone from our overstocked inventory. Losing 6 and 7 star cards without getting any real value for them (other than a huge waste of time shifting and recycling again and again) IS NOT the way to go. What fun is that?

        What will be fun....

        1) Expand Ghost Ship

        2) Expand Constellations

        3) RESET. THE. [email protected]#$% TOWER. CHESTS.

        4) Add new Tower floors

        5) Add new themed zones to Explore

        6) Add new themed cards

        7) Add a new epic Raid Boss each month please. Guilds NEED this. Players WANT this.

Just a few suggestions for next update.

Meanwhile at the Hall of Justice... How are Daily Quests coming along? 7 star Quests will be well worth the wait.

No one said the first request, that we ask from years, add more deck slots(3).

          • #6
The best part of the update wasn't even listed.

After 3 years you can upgrade your cards with a simple tap of the cards in your deck with up to 30 feeders at once.

No more tedious sliding 6 cards at a time over. This welcome change is soooo much easier and faster. Thank you Gaea! You finally did ONE thing right.

                should be done from vault
                have no cd
use the same slider as collect

should follow the same rules as above

                Needs a search option
Needs a sorting options akin to the inventory ones

                Fight re watch feature:

should have an option disabling it

                More deckslots
                More raidbosses
                Raid drop 7* updates
                Constellation updates
                GK summon wheel needs updates
GK stamina/mana recovery rate should impact their nightmare counterparts

I wish we could change avatar with one of the cards you have in your deck or inventory.

                  • #10

In case you missed it: you can sell up to 99 cards and upgrade a card with 99 feeders at once

                      its gaea

this is gaea alright, more useless $hit being added while the real needs being ignored

how gaea used to say? " we hear your voices"?, yeah right.

Hmm.... anything specific you'd like to see the developers put a priority on?

I agree they should reevaluate what their spending their time and resources on versus what's being asked of them by the players.

No one asked for the avatars to be changed. No one asked for casino type features. NO ONE asked for new raid bosses NOT to be added, or city events delayed (with bugs) or summon storms to be few and far between.

There have been a lot of missteps by management lately. Players have every right to be upset and disappointed. Gaea is going to HAVE to start listening and responding better if they expect Heroes of Camelot to remain profitable and keep themselves employed.

Innovation and implementing new ideas can be great but not at the expense of having your core group of players collectively asking themselves, "WTF?" There have been so many missteps. Posts here in the forums and on their Facebook page tell the whole story.

If the current group of HoC developers continue to go the complete opposite of what their community wants said community will go elsewhere. Gaea HAS to listen or their pocketbooks will suffer. Bottom line.
