  • REMOVE the damned Timer in Arenas!

So i, and i guess everyone, usually skip battles when doing arenas to save time...
yesterday, since i changed my deck a bit, i wanted to see a few whole battles to check how it was performing with the new cards/combos i've put in it.

To my surprise i've lost a lot of games even with all 3 teams alive while the enemy only had 1 because of this damned TIME LIMIT.

What's even the ****in point to improve my deck if i lose because of a timer???

    REMOVE IT!

Timeout should be a win in arena and a null fight in valor. Not even "the most HP wins" because of that huge tanks with +15M HP used to stall arena.
Really is it so hard to code?
        Mix Thorngall
        Trapped in the Soul Gem

No reasons to get back... YET

It is probably evergreen folks, there is forum about it already. I agree with you but there is probably some technical issue - over-pressuring servers etc. Lets hope Gaea will solve it, or at least make battles longer. Only solution of those 100 perc reduction healing teams or tanks with 50 mil. HP is instakills with high proc (and good luck of triggering them of course)..

            Hi

            Good day.

During the battle each player lose some hp. At end of fight when you stay at cca 1,5 mil hp enemy at cca 45 000 hp there comes timelimit and you get defeated. ( if there is no timelimit you will win at next round propably) Dunno how you but for me its always defeated.
So win player with most hp i mean : battle win player who stay at end of fight with more hp ( so not from start but at end of fight)

Easy solution is just double the time limit in the code. I am sure a time limit is needed, so double should suffice.

Totally agree with you. The time limit is a real bummer. It has to be expended to 15 min, 100 attacks or whatever. 100% reduce, including revive and/or heal is imbalanced.
The limit is needed to avoid game from crashing caused by unlimited rounds in battle, but it should be expanded.

                    timelimit

I agree with everyone but if the development didn't wasted time at this issues now why would it to do? I think minimally chance there is.

                      Time/rounds

                      Think about boss fights....
They have unlimited rounds. If they didn't you could never win against a boss using even 100% reduction up front and a minimal attk deck after.
The coding is already in place it just needs to be tweaked. I got bored watching a lvl 42 boss battle once trying to see how long it would take. 2 hrs 42 mins later with half the bosses hp gone I gave in and skipped to victory.
Instead of the 10 round auto loss just make it 10 mins. Some damage cards have limits to the amount of procs so there still could be a stalemate, to which at that point whoever brought the bigger hp teams will probably have the most hp left and should therefor win. Last time I checked hp= life. If you have more life/hp remaining than the opponent then you can and should say that you've come out on top.
Just wanted to get some thoughts out there.........Gaea.

Really guy? Your the one person out of a million. You obviously do not experience what we do. And you obviously use this time limit to your advantage. The time limit is stupid! All that does is keep ppl like you probably that use the immortal teams and/or huge hp tank only to stale and no other reason. Yeah that's why u way to keep it. That's the only reason any one wouldn't but when your the pursuer, it gets diff. We've already noted that this hurts way more than it helps.

                              wel...

I have done "funny" screen-shot from s20 arena about our time limit topics:
(veteran players of course know that 1st team was not actually 0 hp, but after Pellinores review there is bug with proper HP projection, it stays at 0).
But still, I would kill opponent in next one or two round...
                              Screenshot_2016-06-04-15-54-45.jpg

But the issue is deeper, if time limit is limited, it could significantly worsen cards with limit per battle (Finn Mc Cools one per battle damage party and stun for example). So after then new "balance" needs to be find..And players should know that limit is for every players so they can use it to theirs advantage. But still game would be fairer if it is removed.
