First of all I want to clarify that I know that HOC is a business for KABAM, and for users is (should be) just a game.
I've been in this game a long time and have seen the kingdom Galahad-5 has been running out of players day after day. There was a time when I saw more then 2k entering stadiums. Now, just around 150 players seems to be active. I think, many of them plays more then one account.
Kabam wants to make money and therefore offers better cards and new combos just for paying players, and that's ok, it's a bussiness for them.
In other hand, all Players just want to have fun.
I think there must be some balance between both needs.
As a player, if we don't have the most powerful cards 6 * and 7 *, we can never win other opponents at the stadium.
In search of those cards, hundreds of 3*, 4* & 5* cards still getting dust because now are useless.
What I'm going to ask I know it can be done, since time ago there where arenas with restrictions, so I propose the following arenas just for fun.
    1. Arenas with cards with max 4* (5* if they are in T4).
    2. Arenas with cards with max 5* (6* if they are in T4).
    3. Arenas with a limit of attack
    4. Arenas with a limit of life
    5. Arena with no combos, only normal skills cards.
    6. Arenas with just 1 company or just 2 companies
    7. Arena without cards in T4
    etc.
The idea of ??these Arenas is not to win big prizes, but just to play for fun. If we can get joy again, perhaps we could think spend more money for new cards.
I mean, there could be funny to try new (old?) cards and combos and to use those cards that would otherwise only occupy space and are really a nuisance.
The awards doesn't have to be powerful cards could be only potions or maybe few SS or tickets to continue playing. After all, SS, tickets and pots are common now.
I hope you will understand that I ask something that could have fun. Today isn't fun to enter arenas and loose again and again.

Yes, english is not my mother thongue so, please excuse it

+1 to restricted arenas, Druid, Camelot, Demons, Male or female characters only arena, no Mighty, Mighty only, S, SS, SSS, S10-, 6-star or less, or anyone possible.

There always have been godly opponents in arena, even before the era of the Ice Overlord, but you just had to skip them and continue scoring with your hard-earned streak. The problem now is you cannot figure if you can win or lose against any opponent now (unless he is nerfed), arena has became a lottery. No streak, no bonus, way more victories required to score, 3 full hours required to finish a flash arena...

For example, let´s battle this "Mix Thorngall"... He seems easy, no top-end combos, just event cards... fight! oops, his Nuriel dots... no procs for me... craps! Kerrigan up, a full round wasted for me... his Nathraed Maelgwn joins the party... my damned 4-rez team does not raise from the dead... his crappy Mordred punches half my tank´s HP... DEFEATED! It´s just like flipping a coin.

Thank you for your suggestions. We will have a look into it and check what restrictions are actually possible. As a starting point, we will restrict the Druid and the Camelot Awakening Arenas to their respective faction cards next week and see how this works.

          restrictions ok if properly implemented

Yes this is nice idea but there have been many restricted arenas before i.e. "camelot restricted" arenas that have players with decks consisting of druid and boss cards... this happens because people switch to their main decks and the arena doesnt save their (restricted) decks. Its not fair to restrict the player from other cards when all he fights in that arena are unrestricted decks.

In short, if you going to restrict arena in future, please make sure that when players change their decks, their decks in arena DOESNT CHANGE. Otherwise its not fair to everyone.

These restrictions can only be applied on the decks someone actively uses in the arena. It might happen that your opponent's deck has cards that differ from the restriction because players can leave the arenas and change their decks to their desire. In regard to the Druid and Camelot Awakening Arena, you could face cards from the demon faction for instance. There is currently no way how we could avoid this.

Two more restrictions we could imagine and would like to discuss with you are
              - Flash Arena 6* (In order to enter this arena you will need one of the three 5? cards you can collect as top might reward in the previous three Awaking Arenas. You will be able to change your deck as soon as you have entered the arena. If you already have one these cards, you don't need to play the Awaking Arenas).
              - Weekly Mega Arena (The total stars you can use in this arena will be restricted. For instance the total amount of your deck's stars needs to be between 50 and 60 stars. It is up to you then if you battle with 10 6? cards or 12 5? for instance. The min and max amounts would change with every week).

              What are your thoughts?

I know the idea of saving "restricted decks" require fixes or amendments of the current game code... but I hope its not really impossible to achieve.

I mean, what is the point of restricting someone who is just starting the arena to not use X cards when everyone else he fights have the X cards in their decks. It only makes it harder to advance and he will end up competing with unrestricted decks.

I really like the idea of conditional arenas but it is more fun if the restriction applies to all decks in these arenas even if the players changed to their main decks etc. If its impossible to implement then its best if we dont have restrictions like this until a fix is implemented.

This is the only one that makes sense cause it actually causes you to choose different deck building options.

the rest just shows how bad the game code is and the inability you all have to do anything about it. Truth hurts.

Please clarify my doubt. Suppose my main deck is A. My 60* deck optimised for Weekly Arena is B.
I complete weekly arena with B. Then I switch back to Deck A and close HOC app.
What will my opponents in weekly arena face ?
                    a) If Deck B, well and good, we will both fight with 60* decks ( Assuming my opponent can't use the switch feature in between, if he CAN switch refer to part b )
                    b) If Deck A, I have one sentence for you. "Get your **** straight before releasing any new goddamn 7* cards"

Well, if we fight with a deck "outside" of the arena with restrictions, then is better let out this kind of arenas . Is far worst have to fight against an unrestricted deck when our deck is indeed restricted.

                        1) Flash arena. I like this option, but this way seems to be a "bigger arena" split in two arenas. What about to have to find a "special ticket" to enter into an arena, and that ticket can be found only walking at southport? (or another city). what about if the special ticket is given after defeat all bosses in normal mode? some thinks like that could be enterteining. And yes, I just dreaming, maybe is hard to code that.
                        2) As I said if we are restricted with our deck, but the opponent's deck is unrestricted, then this option is not so good. Even though I'd like to fight against other opponents who had to left out theirs best deck just for the restrictions.

                          Thanks for the feedback again!

We will test restricted "Flash Arena 6*" and "Weekly Arena" next week and see how much fun you will have them. If your experience will be only negative, we will avoid them. Otherwise, we will run them on a more regular basis.

I for one hate any restrictions, golden arses are rare as it is, building a decent deck takes time and effort, restrictions punish you for building the main deck. The druid and camelot awakening arenas allready became a high risk of br3aking the streak due to this. Adding even more punishments will harm the game.
