- Do not post Facebook information about other forum users.
- Do not post any private information about other users.
- Do not post in-game information in an attempt to have other players attack your target. Be careful to not cross the line into bullying.

- Do not start a thread without actual purpose.
- Do not start a thread about a news story or article unless you make it clear what the story is about, and offer your own opinion to start a discussion.

Rule 8: Respect your account
- Do not share your account information with other individuals. You will be held responsible for any rules violations that occur under your account.
- Do not create new accounts or use other tricks to avoid suspensions or bans.
- Do not create ?sock puppet? accounts ? multiple accounts created just so that you can agree with yourself and make it seem like your ideas have more support than they do.
- Never include your e-mail address or any other personal information in posts.

Rule 9: Respect the Moderators
- Do not post using the color red. This color is reserved for moderators.
- Do not impersonate moderators. Do not claim to speak for the moderators.

- Do not argue with moderators about moderator decisions. You can disagree with a moderator?s opinions, just like any other poster, but when they post moderator actions in red text, it is considered final.
- Moderators have no access to your game account. If you have an issue you must contact customer service.

Generally, BE NICE. There is nothing wrong with being nice to each other.

Why can't they respond to our treads.

Eg. Will there be an event today?
    Smash/Dash: yes/no

It would have taken them just tree presses on letters to respond.

What makes no sense is that they are supposed to awnser questions players ask for a salary. But don't do it. I buy a minimum of 30 000 gems a month but that is not the reason for this post. Get back on topic

Unfortunately, Sm4sh is no longer with Kabam. We'll all miss her, but it has left a gap that we will be filling shortly. I do apologize that I haven't been able to get on here more. This caught us off guard, so I've been juggling all of my responsibilities along with Sm4sh's for the past several days until we can get things back on track. Luckily, we should be having several new GMs joining very soon who will be on here frequently to keep you all in the loop.

Sorry to hear that Dash. But I see Sp4z is back, also, those who are gunning for your replacement have no idea how many threads are going on here. I think you're doing a good job, but you can do a bit better. Anyways, please fix the Guild War bugs and this events banning glitches and we'll keep reporting further problems to you. Thanks!!

most of us are not getting banned. Have you tried submitting a support ticket. There must be something in common with those getting banned. Submitting a support ticket may help with figuring it out so it can be corrected. Give as much relative information as you can about what you were doing when got banned and what device you are using, were you having connection issues at the time, etc.

Hahahaha you're joking right??? Just about everyone in our realm has been banned for 30 minutes to an hour at least once!! Some of my guildies and several other people have been banned multiple times!! Submitting a support ticket does absolutely nothing except get you a generic, idiotic, copy and paste email from one of Kabam's "brilliant" customer service reps.

He's right a lot of people aren't getting banned (I haven't yet) and your right to support sucks bad but what he said about writing them and giving them all the info you can even if you get the robotic responce does help in the long run. Sure you don't get your answer "NOW!!!!!" like most people want and expect but just saying I was banned do something gives them 0 info on how and when and what you were doing and what you play on. But from what I see in a lot of forums people expect things to get done and all I see them say I was playing the event and was banned fix it!

My history with submiting support tickets is that support is completely useless and it does not work. That's my take on it until I see some real evidence that support does work.

Up until this day, they have NEVER solved or fixed anything for me. Everytime I have a problem with my account, they haven't done anything to fix it. Ever.

Some people have had their issues adressed, but my experience with them has been really horrible.

Okay, let me try to help with these three posts all in mind.....

First, please note that there is a systemic difference between Support and the Game Team. The way I understand it to be, Support collects your information, and given enough data to substantiate a report, then submits that data to the Game Team to address. Support is not designed to solve your problems. They are simply the first line of communication between you and the developers. Expecting them to fix your problem or do anything more than serve as a liaison might be an unrealistic expectation.

That being said, I agree with those who suggest submitting a ticket. Not because it will *do* anything per se to fix your problem, but every ticket gets logged and enough logged tickets warrants a report to the Game Team. Think of it like a restaurant. Support is your Server and the Game Team is the kitchen cooks. You order a steak med-rare and it comes to you well done. What do you do? Do you blame the Server, fail to tip, and leave angry and never come back? Why? It's likely not the Server's fault, it's the guy in the kitchen who doesn't know how to check temps. Here's the problem with that: you leave mad after eating shoe leather, the staff gets screwed for something they had no control over, and the guy in the back still doesn't know how to cook to temp because he's received no complaints so far.

I also agree with submitting as much info as possible, as I know this is very helpful to Support when they have to go to the Game Team. It also helps to decrease the time the Game Team needs to fix the problem if they have more info going into it. Saying "This steak was cooked wrong, fix it!!" isn't the same as saying "The customer ordered a steak med-rare and this is too well done; They'd like another one but cooked med-rare." Now kitchen staff knows exactly what was wrong, what the customer wants instead, and they can then figure out how to fix it.

Lastly, here's what we think we know about the ban from former threads and events (and I know this because I, myself, have been affected in the past and during the current event) and Support responses:

                              - the ban is bug, you likely didn't do anything wrong (in the case of the random 30-minute ban, anyway)
                              - there is a program in place that seems to like to go wonky; it's designed to read requests made to the server and respond when there is high volume demand (they've fixed it in the past but with the update it has reared its ugly head again)
                              - when you experience connection issues, the way I understand it is that additional messages (or pings) get sent to the server; in turn, this seems to increase the chance of you being banned
                              - if your realm is hosting an event and GW's at the same time, plus new arenas and the Tower Shard Days, and that stupid pop-up ad on the front page, plus connection issues....well guess what, even more pings and activity sent to the server
                              - in essence, I think it becomes a cooldown for the server, which perhaps was not its intention, but it's a problem nonetheless for players and therefore should be reported (calmly and in detail as others have mentioned)

Case in point, I know that if I play during my realm's prime time, and definitely while traveling on the road in sketchy connection areas, my chance for a ban goes up. Funny thing, I've actually received the ban twice now from the exact same spot while traveling on the Interstate on two different days and coincidentally, it's a bad signal spot in general. I don't think I've ever received the ban while at home on my wifi, with perhaps one exception of playing during my realm's prime time (but because of all the above info, I could put 2 + 2 together and figure to avoid that time whenever possible to play whenever I see multiple reports of the Ban issue on the forum. once they fix it, it's then safe again to play during realm prime time.).

Anyway, the point of all this is to encourage you to have realistic expectations for Support and to work *with* them, not against them, as they are your liaisons to the Game Team and it's the Game Team who you need to ultimately listen to your situation and address your problem. Or....to put it another way.....be nice to your Server lest they tell the kitchen staff to spit in your food.
