Forum Rules [Updated 12/21/2016]

MAIN RULES OF THE FORUMS

Please respect your community. Respect each other as you all enjoy the same thing ? The Game.

We encourage open and friendly discussion of the game and the Community. Moderators and Staff have final decisions on all matters, and are here to make sure that the Community remains a friendly, fun place appropriate for players of all backgrounds, ages and groups.

It is the forum member's responsibility to stay up to date on forum rules and to honor the behavior outlined.

PURPOSE OF THE FORUMS

These forums provide an area for constructive player discussions of the game. It also allows players to
help each other identify bugs and issues, and help each other reproduce and resolve them.

These forums are not the most direct way to contact support. If you?re having an issue with your game and you need direct assistance, please tap on the FAQ/Support tab within the game.

CHANGES OR IMPROVEMENT

Please make sure to stay updated on these rules by reviewing this page from time to time.

This is a private board. As such, decisions made are final.
We reserve the right to remove any message board content without notice for any reason.


Rule 1: Responses to rule violations
Violating these rules will result in warnings, either formal or informal, suspensions, banning, or other sanctions.

Rule 2: Respect other users on the forums
- Do not make attacks or insult other users, either in the forums or through private messages. Disagreements and debates are fine, but don?t make it personal.
- Do not attack groups. This includes professions, races, religions, sexual orientations, genders, incomes, or even vague groups like ?you people.?
- Do not use ill terms which are offensive to groups, do not ?flame?, ?troll.? or ?haze?.

Rule 3: Respect the forum purpose and structure
- Make your posts in the appropriate forum.
- Please use the Search function. If a relevant thread already exists, please post there instead of creating a new thread about the same topic. Duplicate threads will be closed to keep the forums orderly and easy to navigate.
- Keep off-topic posts in the off-topic forum.
- Don?t start discussions about games that are not ours.
- Do not cross-link to other message boards or websites unless approved by a moderator.

Rule 4: Respect the law
- Do not post anything illegal under U.S. law, or encourage other users to break the laws of the U.S. or their country of residence.
- Do not encourage users to break terms of service. This includes giving information about how to find scripts, exploits, or cheats, as well as arranging to buy or sell accounts or virtual goods.

Rule 5: Respect the audience
Think about who you're talking to. Users may be as young as 13 on these message boards, and may be male or female, and from countries across the globe.
- Keep your language civil. Profanity is frowned on.
- Do not post Adult Material, inappropriate graphic sexual content in any format, or links to sexually explicit sites.
- Do not post graphic images or explicit descriptions of violent acts.
- Do not use an avatar or signature that could offend other users. They have to look at it a lot.

Rule 6: Respect privacy
- Do not post any private emails or private messages unless you have the explicit permission of each person involved in the exchange.
- Do not post private communication between customer support, members, moderators, or administrators on these forums, or anywhere else. (This include support ticket responses)
- Do not post any information covered by a non-disclosure agreement or beta testing agreement. Even if you somehow have inside information about our competitors, for legal reasons we don?t want to hear it.
- Do not post Facebook information about other forum users.
- Do not post any private information about other users.
- Do not post in-game information in an attempt to have other players attack your target. Be careful to not cross the line into bullying.

Rule 7: Do not spam
- Do not post repeatedly about the same topic.
- Do not spam users on the forums or through private messages.
- Do not start a thread without actual purpose.
- Do not start a thread about a news story or article unless you make it clear what the story is about, and offer your own opinion to start a discussion.

Rule 8: Respect your account
- Do not share your account information with other individuals. You will be held responsible for any rules violations that occur under your account.
- Do not create new accounts or use other tricks to avoid suspensions or bans.
- Do not create ?sock puppet? accounts ? multiple accounts created just so that you can agree with yourself and make it seem like your ideas have more support than they do.
- Never include your e-mail address or any other personal information in posts.

Rule 9: Respect the Moderators
- Do not post using the color red. This color is reserved for moderators.
- Do not impersonate moderators. Do not claim to speak for the moderators.

Rule 10: Respect the decisions of the moderators
- The moderation teams reserves the right to warn, suspend, or permanently ban users judged to be acting against the spirit of the rules, even if the user is following the letter of the rules.
- Do not argue with moderators about moderator decisions. You can disagree with a moderator?s opinions, just like any other poster, but when they post moderator actions in red text, it is considered final.
- Moderators have no access to your game account. If you have an issue you must contact customer service.

Generally, BE NICE. There is nothing wrong with being nice to each other.

    Last chance for kabam support

    Hello this is the final time I will ask for help if you still choose not to help my next call will be to apple support. You know good and well our guild has been suffering from inability to use any of our upgrades to our buildings like the hospital armory and watchtower not to mention the in acurate win loss count and all the losses that were suffered including the worst and the one that's broken my will to play any further is due too your inaction you have absolutely no soul. As a company no ethics and I'm sick of the abuse. Thanks for wasting several years and many thousand dollars of my money I hope you well I'm sure you can imagine. Truly Cuz Ector-76 Officer of Purgers guild the number three Guild in our server soon to be a defunct server.

    Re please read thread

    I must say for customer service your not very friendly nor professional. To say that any of my post is a personal issue is absolutely upsurd. It's a issue with the war event within my entire guild of 25 people in ector76 called Purgers so it's a non personal and multi-player problem.
    The reason for my post here is because I'm not getting appropriate help through customer service so stupid me thought perhaps using you're online forum area to post problems within the game for them to be addressed might be a helpful solution instead I receive a spiteful tort about reading the forums really? Please either do your job or find a replacement person who will. I'd also like to point out that there's a ton of IT grads jobless who'd love too do you're job. So keep being rude to the players and see how long you stay employed. Don't think that I won't be sending a e-mail too Kabam's coorprate office as well as to apple and iTunes support in regards to my treatment by you. That all said here's an update on our known bugs and non personal issues

    Thank you for the message saying that you're closing my newest ticket to make me find it necessary to re-write everything into this case # which by the way you've yet to send me a response on this ticket. As to a resolution hence my opening a new one.

    So please refer back to the closed ticket for our updated and new but ongoing issues with the war event FYI: wins/losses is still incorrect should show only 1 loss and 7 wins had our war function worked properly from day one

    Second our buildings are showing as destroyed and aren't returning to there original state after the one loss we actually suffered. Again the only loss which we actually earned

    We have no access to all but 3-4 of the 9 buildings which our fortress is one of those were unable to access for any purpose whatsoever.

    I'd like to say Thank You for the rewards in purgers guild being issued for last two wars but I'm unsure if the issuing of several days worth of losses rewards is a fair fix for rewards we should have gotten that were for wins as there completely different. In number and type.

    Lastly for now is the fact that we've yet to receive any guild token rewards for our wins in the wars which I do believe. Is one of the ways there earned.

    Please let me know what if anything is being done to address each of these issues.

    War issues

    Hello I am Cuz an officer from Purgers guild in Ector 76. We have been trying to work with Quentin. On getting my guilds war functions fixed. However, were currently still experiencing many bugs/ problems. I'd like to start with a thanks. Yesterday although we suffered a loss due too being unprepared for live war after fighting only ghost guilds. Or fights without any opisition. We had not expected a actual fight. Yet it was exilerating and very fun. We did recive some rewards today for the very first time ever. Thank you! Unfortunately today when I tried too use those rewards which I received there was no fortress to upgrade. It was defeated in yesterday's battle but I would imagine it's supposed to reset after that battle to its prior form. If I'm incorrect please let me know. Also please inform me of my prior complaint issues and what is being done to fix those which weren't addressed yet such as the win/loss column in our guild which needs to reflect the proper amount of wins vs losses. Since I've returned to purgers we have only been able to fight three fights one we lost. Before returning I was in Devils Guild and Missed out on several days of rewards for battles in which I participated. There entire group was compensated also a few that had left there already but for some reason I never received those six days of rewards. Or the guild tokens for use in the summinoing arena in fact we've never received any of them whatsoever except through the spending of money. Please make these issues better by awarding those whom have been adversely effected like our guild in whole.

    If I remember right, in ver. 4.0.0, there was announced Global arenas, so I think, we should have them in game. If the problems and bugs with Global arena are solved, I´d really appreciate them in game again.

    Good Evening,
    how is it that you do not receive your reply, if not always as close as you like ??
    bugs are some players lose time and money and yet no answer if you do not let you know and then after a day .. was closed and I have to postpone it again to be told they had already been closed !!! this is a jack ***, I lost a lot of gems in the arena for bugs, fatal mistakes.
    an answer to understand the problem !!!

    I have appealed to me a thousand times for this loss of gems, but I only received responses unnecessary and closed so because you okay !!!
    There are many problems where who spends money and then penalized anyway.
    it is not fair to all players convolti or who have contacted should have this compensation!
    and a scam this bug

    I'm here again to complain about not receiving my reward last arena convener of spades. already complained before but until now not received the reward.

    In my opinion there are several solutions:

    1. you do nothing
    2. you do a compensation for ALL players (all dias gained in this arena decided by the participants) and give them to EVERY player
    3. return all dias from this event (probably not possible, because a lot was already spend)
    4. you probably do a lot of back ups, so why don't you restore the accounts from those, who used the bug? This would of course contain a punishment for them and I am not sure if this is fair. But pls note, not doing anything about it, is the most unfair solution for the majority of players.

    U guys, as in Kabam are arguing with: less than 1% got it and it doesnt effect anything. For your info, it does! We all has rights to claim the opportunity to get the free gems, if they are not free gems they are illegal gems and after all i and 99% of players and of course even some who got them doesnt understand why u did not remove them in time or let ppl use them frrely, unpunished.
    That means that they are not illegal so everyone should get the opportunity to collect them not just the lucky ones they were in game at that short time.
    1%......is the number of players who has no reason to stop playing or spending money!
    99% is the number of angry ppl they feel like they-we were robbed by YOU, KABAM!
    U also stated that u want to fix in game economy, but listen to this if all the 99% will have enough brain or simply just anger to do not spend a cent any more you can start to count your lost money right now!
    Summary: for all of us would be better to do somethimg finally with this PROBLEM!
