  • Fortress bug in GW

How is it possible that there are 55 attackers in my guild's fortress for GW? The max number of member is 50 for each guild. Besides, my guild only has 23 members at the moment and 20 of us are deployed as defenders. This stupid bug is causing us to lose a lot of points quickly.

And the bug is still there

We have one with 118 attackers. This is rediculous!

Guild war issues with an impossible number of attackers

Can you please address the issue of guilds having more than the possible number of attackers I their fortress? For two days in a row our guild wars have been against guilds that had more than 50 players. Today's battle had all opposing buildings occupied and 118 attackers in the fortress. If they have an equivalent number of tokens for that many people, how is an honest guild suppose to compete? I really like the guild war aspect of the game but this glitch or cheat removes any desire to participate at all. Please take a look at this issue to bring this problem in line. I have screens hots to support this complaint.

When people leave or get kicked from a Guild, they still appear in that Guild's camp if they mustered for GW.

However, they should not be able to be active; meaning, it should have little to no direct impact on you or on the result/outcome of the battle.

For you to have a legitimate concern, you need to be able to prove that more than 50 were active during the battle.

Otherwise, it's simply a visual bug that actually gives YOU the advantage over them, as you now have more opportunities for points and exp.

To check to see who is active on their side, just count how many people in the Fort have reduced LP when you get to it. If you know your side did not attack, then the only way they could have damage is if they were attacking you.

Find that out, confirm it, and you have a better report to give to the development team that it's an active bug and not just a cosmetic glitch.

Excessive number of attackers in fort... A cheat?

We have excessive number of attackers in our fort.
ARE WE CHEATING? ARE THEY ATTACKING?
            NO!!!

DO THEY AFFECT THE POSSIBLE OUTCOME OF OUR WARS?
            YES!!!

ARE WE CHEATING? We don't want them to be in our fort but they were there since the guild wars started. WHO ARE THEY? They were our former members... others have left... others were kicked out. We are the leader guild in our realm so one can imagine how many players have actually come, left and been kicked out in our guild. Those who left or been kicked out and have joined other guilds are no longer listed. But those who did not join other guilds, and who are actually wandering in our realm, are still there. We even see them conversing in the global chat while our guild is in war.

ARE THEY ATTACKING? We know it very well... You cannot access the guild board if you are not a member of the guild. If you cannot access it, you cannot join the war. How can they attack for us and help us then? TO SAY THAT THOSE EXCESSIVE NUMBER OF ATTACKERS "ARE ATTACKING" is only an assumption. In fact, THEY BECOME OUR HEADACHES!

DO THEY AFFECT THE POSSIBLE OUTCOME OF OUR WARS? IF NOT, then I could have not submitted a complain to kabam regarding it. They cannot help, BUT THEY BECOME OUR LIABILITY! We protect our fort more not because it is weak BUT because of those non-members who are still there. We have seen how our opponent's points soar in the many times that they were able to destroy our fort. THAT IS WHY WE DON'T LIKE THEM THERE, and that is why I submitted a complaint. Kabam even asked for screenshots of our fort, the list of our active members and those who are not. It has been more than a month already, but no result yet since kabam told me "we have already alerted our development team regarding it".

OUR GUILD SUPPORTS THOSE WHO ARE ASKING KABAM TO REMOVE THEM IN OUR FORTS.

IS IT CHEATING? NO --- IT'S A BUG THAT KABAM HAS TO RESOLVE!

Our guild hopes it to be fixed at the start of the new season.

To our kabam personnel, I hope your response to this problem will not end in the "gratitude" that I received in recognition for "spending my time in giving you feedback".

Why is this bug still not fixed???? Did you even fix anything in guild wars before starting the new season?

The extra players in the fortress are free points for the other guild and can make your guild suffer either way. Either the other guild gets extra points against you for people that aren't even there. Or your guild wastes tokens on players that aren't even a possible threat to your base. Because you have no idea who in the other fortress could possibly be active.

Exactly. Anyone who actually knows how to play GW knows this is more of an advantage to the opponent. Folks who whine about the bug are simply seeing numbers and really have no clue.

I admit, the opposing numbers threw me off in the beginning, but then I took the time to learn what they actually mean.

Through these rants it's becoming pretty obvious who actually knows what they're talking about vs who probably still goes in and simply whacks a fort.

Try to figure out the actual strategy behind GW and you'll begin to see why your complaints have very little merit. Stop reacting and instead start assessing and learning. You'll be surprised what you figure out.

A bug is still a bug. It is not a feature, so that is no excuse for Kabam.

Besides, we have more than 50 attackers. Nobody in platinum/diamond league hits attackers and we end up giving free points no matter where we deploy the non-existent members.

Ummm, if nobody is hitting the Attackers, then you're not really giving up free points....

But they contribute a huge chunk of free points when buildings go down in a very close fight.

for one, people that attack bldgs don't lose lp so there is NO way of knowing how many are active. Secondly, the fort is a glitch that has an effect as each attacker in a downed fort is another point for opposing guilds. I now know you like to dance thru the tulips like there's not a problem in the world, but guess what? There is! Get over yourself and quit responding to people who are mad because they're money and time is going by the wayside. Your responses are as annoying as the actual glitches.

Sweetheart, I stand behind what I said. And anyone who actually knows how to run GW knows it's a valid constructive post. We count 2nd and 3rd line opponent actives all the time without being able to even see them and we track our own actives the same way. If you do not know how to do that, too bad. Doesn't mean it isn't possible.

The fact that you get this upset over a game is disturbing. If your money and time were that precious to you, I doubt this is how you'd spend it. Don't get mad at me that you're a moron with no sense of restraint, go look in the mirror to see the one you're really upset with.
